I feel bad giving this game a negative rating, but it's hard to find people who want to play it for more than 2 minutes.
I played this with a couple of mates and had a really fun time.
Definitely recommend it if you also have a couple of mates and want to have a fun time.
str8 heat tbh
This is my go-to game for short party-game sessions!
Probably the easiest party game to convince people to play. The characters are fun and easy to control, and the gameplay is smooth. It's super easy to learn, and there's still some room for skill improvement.
My kids love this game (and I do too). The design is great for supporting players of different skill levels; no one is left behind. The varied levels make it always new and interesting. And the music is great.
It looks like a cute little party game but will end friendships
9.5/10
I absolutely LOVE this game!! I just got it on PC (i bought it on switch before) and it made my love for it spike!! It's such a simple, versatile game. It's one of those games that you can bring to a family gathering and you'll have grandpa spitting out his dentures, laughing, playing this game. The fact that you can have multiple players on one keyboard or multiple controllers is great! It's so easy to play and set up and I totally reccomend that you buy it. It's worth every penny! Just make sure that you have a friend or two by your side to play with! I would wish that you could change the FPS, as it spikes my CPU pretty high.
Cute, simple, but not super refined. This is a versus game for when you're bored of most of the other options.

There running and fighting with each other (players) is not composed with each other (running and fighting). You and your opponents are running meanwhile u are trying to use something to grab the present from someone who is carrying it, some slime balls, kick and something, but there only matters who will take the present until he comes to place where everybody must come. There doesn't matter some "time of carrying the present" or there isn't fighting to take the present to his own party/base. If someone is not fast enough to other player, he will respawn next to him, next to his opponents progress. If you run in this game, you are doing it to complete battle, but u do not rival by that with your opponent. So there the run i see unnecessary.
Fun game. Fun guys. Fungi.
Loads of fun, and simple enough for non gamer types to get into it :)
Hi!
This is my review for Muddledash. I bought it in a shopping spree along with Hypergalactic Psychic Table Tennis 3000 and Bloons TD 6. Muddledash is a local 2-player 2D competitive game in which you grab the gift and try to get it to the party before anyone else does the same. It's pretty fun, and I recommend checking it out.

Alright.
Thank you for reading my statistics. Now let's get onto the review.
This is a fun game. Even if you can't convince anyone to play it with you, you can still pretend the two octopuses(octopi?)-or Muddles as I like to call them-are fighting over it themselves or just want one of them to deliver it. If you're quick enough, you can even get into the party despite not having a Gift. Which is fine. You don't need to give a gift in order to get into a party. Landscape is friendly too, so if you're trying to find a nice, fun family-friendly game to play with your kids or your parents or your grandparents or your aunt or whatever, this is perfect for that, even if that rating doesn't apply in general.
So that's about it.
TL;DR:
Gave it an Alright rating which technically falls under the Recommended Category. Really good for local multiplayer, blowing off steam or playing some games with the family.
Get this game if you like any of those, especially since this game is really cheap.
Hilary asked me to write this:
'it's so nice!
Hilary know how to play
Hilary likes to play this with mum and dad, and Hilary wins most of the games'
Really fun game, definitely a great game to play up to 4 people, even with people who don't play videogames that much.
It's not content-heavy, so I recommend playing this when you have friends or guests coming over, regardless of their age or gender.
I love muddledash.
It's hilarious. You can play it with lots of people. Probably everyone is going to like it:)
Option to take off teleportation for player and for the gift would be awesome. Needs full 4 players to be fun.
Great game for kids.
My 6 year old son saw this and wanted to play it, so I sat down with him to give it a try. First game, with us figuring out the gameplay, he won. Second game, I took it easy and he won again. Third game, gloves off, I played for real... he won. And kept winning.
After 12 games, I'd won a measly single time. Against a six year old.
10/10, would get thrashed and be proud of my gamer kid any day.
Part of the "My Girlfriend's Games" series.
"Oh my gosh, hats!" "Too competitive, but the Octopuses are really cute." "You can pick your own colors too!"
Best with four players. Can't beat it for the price especially when it's on sale. Controls are extremely easy to pick up.
9/10
Great party game! The art style makes it significantly more accessible for non-gamers than let's say the one in Speedrunners.
The respawning system makes the whole match tense, and map elements like grass and shooting flowers are sprinkled just right throughout.
Highly recommended!
Muddledash provides a simple concept: race to the finish and enter a birthday party with a present. The simple controls and immediately clear goals make this game quite accessible, which is always a great quality for a multiplayer party game. Additionally, Muddledash sports enough replayability due to ever-changing level lay-outs and the player's ability to adapt to those lay-outs and hone their pathfinding skills.
My only real gripe with the game would be that the respawn mechanics are a bit easily abusable, though this also contributes a bit to the hilarity of a regular game session. Other than that, the game could use some unlocks and/or additional modes in the future; short-term replayability is great so far, but I worry that in the long run players might get bored of the options at hand.
When it comes down to it however, you will definitely get your money's worth - certainly at the current price point - as Muddledash provides an accessible game experience that still manages to entertain even after 20 successive rounds.
This is an absolute joy of a simple, fun game. There is not much to it: race through a simple obstacle course while trying to gain control of a gift box, but it gets every detail absolutely right!
- It is very easy to pick up, even the nuances of movement (learning how/when to dash and jump)
- It has a great 'feel', everything has a great "sticky" tactile sensation to it
- The minimal gameplay is masterfully done: there are no "why doesn't it do..." moments
- It has a great visual asthetic
- It is at the perfect price point for this kind of game
Really the only issue is that you will find yourself eventually wishing for more complex maps to race on, but wanting more from a game you enjoy is not much of a drawback.
I purchased this game to play with my 4-year old and she loves it. One of the things I worried about in a racing game for a kid was "what happens when someone falls behind?". Muddledash solves this with a great mechanic where you respawn one the play field, and it makes for some great strategy when playing more competitively with someone older.
Just a great little game that knows what it is and gets it all right.
I was recommended this game from a friend and it is every bit as fun as it looks!
It's a simple party game that is very intuitive and so everyone can just pick it up and play. I would especially recommend this game if you like games like Speedrunners or Rayman Legends as it is on that level of speedy platforming fun for you and your friends! The game looks amazing too and has a great soundtrack to boot. It's probably one of the best casual party games I have ever played.
Only downsides would be that I sometimes encountered a little fps drop, but not sure if that happens to everyone. It was quite minor so didn't take away from the experience.
9/10
Discovered it at EGX last year, absolutely our game of the show. Bought it on release and already been falling over laughing playing it.
A fantastic little party game and I am surprised how low the price is too!
