Rayman Origins is a charming and beautifully animated platformer that brings back the classic charm of the Rayman series while adding modern improvements. The levels are well-designed, offering a great mix of challenge and fun, with fantastic visuals and music that complement the playful atmosphere. The game’s co-op mode makes it even more enjoyable, letting you team up with friends for some chaotic fun. It’s a classic that still holds up today.

A Visual Platforming Delight
Rayman Origins is one of those games that left me with a smile on my face from start to finish. Everything about it is designed to be pure fun. Visually the game looks great, with a colorful and beautiful art style with great character designs. The different worlds all have their own theme making them distinct from each other. The game uses music in a creative way, making it a core part of the experience, whether it be from sliding across a living instrument, or jumping on drums to add to the soundtrack, I loved the use of music in the game. The difficulty curve was also handled really well. While the game starts off very easy, it gradually ramps up the difficulty, becoming quite a challenge in the end. Luckily the frequent checkpoints and infinite lives make it so even the hard parts don't become frustrating. The game isn't just a platformer either, there are some shoot em up style levels, and while these aren't super frequent they are super fun, well designed, and offer a nice change of pace. If you're a fan of 2D platformers, I absolutely recommend picking up Rayman Origins. It has some of the best level design I've played in a platformer, and with all the hidden secrets, there's a lot of replay ability. For more reviews, follow my curator page.

I had this on my 3DS when it released! Its just as fun and amazing as I remember! Definitely my most favourite Rayman games of all time! I adore the quirky and unique art style and the music is awesome! So glad i revisited this game, its definitely worth trying out if you haven't already!

After 100% completion I can confirm, the Ray does not Man. And if there's one thing I know a lot about, it's men. I don't like it, it's just trial and error at its worst and makes me feel bad. I hated it from the very first level, but to be sure it sucked, I did everything the game had to offer, and it still sucked. At least it looks pretty. Like me.
But I mean get it I don't know, you might like it. You might like me. My dad doesn't like me.

i did a 15 hour 100% playtrough and its a very good game id say.
the artstyle is charming and its super fun, i especially like the chest stages!!!!!
now, i played the game unmodded, but theres 2 mods you may wanna install if you want a better experience:
1. high quality videos (the vanilla ones are heavily compressed)
2. minimum loading times (reduces level loading times from 4 to 0)
you can get these mods and install them by using the fanmade "rayman control panel"
Oh boy! Another game from my childhood! This time it was for my Wii alongside Mario 1 and 3, Megaman 2 and 3, and many others! I remember playing it with my dad as a kid and completed it 100% a long time ago. Still fun to this day, and I am just as excited for a new Rayman game to release as I was a child!
If anyone's wanting to, give it a shot! No matter if the game is too hard, you'll still be impressed! 10/10

This game is just as fun as when I played it back in 2011. This is a good example of when excellent gameplay and design are met with a sufficient budget. Ubisoft did not choose to push this game and it is a dumb move from a dumb company. I went back to play this game because the fluidity of play so rare, like a bowl of popcorn you don't wanna stop eating. 10/10

A hard yet satisfying platform. Compared to the previous games, this one is a big upgrade.
A strong point are the transition levels even if at some point those are repetitive.

honestly? the game of my childhood. from xbox60 to pc this game has the same nostalgic feeling
I'm sure the game is wonderful, but I had to ask for a return because it does not function for me. The menus show up without labels, or you can't interact with them. I cannot so much as change the key bindings or resolution. I'm told this is because I have the newest version of Windows. Oh well.
They called it “Rayman Origins” because that’s when the series “originally” became fun.

I have gotten this game on a discount (R$ 17.00,around 3$) and i'm glad i got this game because it's a fun one,also it works on Windows 10 but i heard some pepole can't run the game,and it also dosen't have the Ubisoft Connect launcher so that's a plus

This game is amazing and I used to play it all the time on Xbox 360.

i beat this on my 360 in like 2014 and something about the insanely unique, eye catching art style and the boss battles that somehow gave me nightmares made this one of my favourite games as a kid
utterly sublime game, amazing visuals and great controls. only problem with the steam port is you need to connect controllers before launching the game which can be awkward at times but that barely gets in the way so i can still give the port a thumbs up

I've played this game for an hour and I'm pretty impressed by the Game its super fun and Funny I enjoy it alot. I play rayman legends when I was 11 and I still like Legends more then origins personally because of quality, and the story I love it so much
