Strongly recommend this game, i love the design, its very unique and the soundtracks are swagalicious, would definitely smash. Overall 8.57/10
I had this on my 3DS when it released! Its just as fun and amazing as I remember! Definitely my most favourite Rayman games of all time! I adore the quirky and unique art style and the music is awesome! So glad i revisited this game, its definitely worth trying out if you haven't already!

After 100% completion I can confirm, the Ray does not Man. And if there's one thing I know a lot about, it's men. I don't like it, it's just trial and error at its worst and makes me feel bad. I hated it from the very first level, but to be sure it sucked, I did everything the game had to offer, and it still sucked. At least it looks pretty. Like me.
But I mean get it I don't know, you might like it. You might like me. My dad doesn't like me.

i did a 15 hour 100% playtrough and its a very good game id say.
the artstyle is charming and its super fun, i especially like the chest stages!!!!!
now, i played the game unmodded, but theres 2 mods you may wanna install if you want a better experience:
1. high quality videos (the vanilla ones are heavily compressed)
2. minimum loading times (reduces level loading times from 4 to 0)
you can get these mods and install them by using the fanmade "rayman control panel"
Oh boy! Another game from my childhood! This time it was for my Wii alongside Mario 1 and 3, Megaman 2 and 3, and many others! I remember playing it with my dad as a kid and completed it 100% a long time ago. Still fun to this day, and I am just as excited for a new Rayman game to release as I was a child!
If anyone's wanting to, give it a shot! No matter if the game is too hard, you'll still be impressed! 10/10

This game is just as fun as when I played it back in 2011. This is a good example of when excellent gameplay and design are met with a sufficient budget. Ubisoft did not choose to push this game and it is a dumb move from a dumb company. I went back to play this game because the fluidity of play so rare, like a bowl of popcorn you don't wanna stop eating. 10/10
Never played a Rayman title before. But I liked this game. It has inspired me to follow my dreams, and become a Baptist postal worker. 5/7

A hard yet satisfying platform. Compared to the previous games, this one is a big upgrade.
A strong point are the transition levels even if at some point those are repetitive.

honestly? the game of my childhood. from xbox60 to pc this game has the same nostalgic feeling
I'm sure the game is wonderful, but I had to ask for a return because it does not function for me. The menus show up without labels, or you can't interact with them. I cannot so much as change the key bindings or resolution. I'm told this is because I have the newest version of Windows. Oh well.
They called it “Rayman Origins” because that’s when the series “originally” became fun.

This is a classic fun 2D Platformer Game.
I have gotten this game on a discount (R$ 17.00,around 3$) and i'm glad i got this game because it's a fun one,also it works on Windows 10 but i heard some pepole can't run the game,and it also dosen't have the Ubisoft Connect launcher so that's a plus

i beat this on my 360 in like 2014 and something about the insanely unique, eye catching art style and the boss battles that somehow gave me nightmares made this one of my favourite games as a kid
utterly sublime game, amazing visuals and great controls. only problem with the steam port is you need to connect controllers before launching the game which can be awkward at times but that barely gets in the way so i can still give the port a thumbs up

I've played this game for an hour and I'm pretty impressed by the Game its super fun and Funny I enjoy it alot. I play rayman legends when I was 11 and I still like Legends more then origins personally because of quality, and the story I love it so much

My xbox controller wont work. with it. I just got this xbox controller to play this but it wont work. I started playing with keyboard but now that i actually have a controller it wont work.

this game is one of the best but the game is broken on newest versions of windows... for me this isnt a problem because im on linux and change proton version to make it work (proton 7 for those are wondering).
still, ubisoft needs to fix this port

i played legends prior Origins which is a mistake but still an amazing platformer
Probably the last game I bought the way games are supposed to be bought. Randomly went into a GameStop and went “the cover for this rocks, I'll just get it.” And god does it rock.
Rayman 3 was one of the first games I had ever interacted with; I remember watching my dad play it when I was a kid. But Origins is wildly different from 3, and as the name confusingly implies, the game is not a prequel but simply a return to form. It’s the closest a Rayman game has ever come to consistency in the series, since almost none of the games are related or share any of the same characters past Rayman himself. Even Globox and the Teensies are absent every now and then. Origins is the first 2D game since the first (not counting spinoffs) and it looks gorgeous. The graphics here 100% influenced my art style throughout all of middle and high school. They’re zany and exaggerated; punching a friend in co-op sends their teeth and eyes flying all over for a couple frames.
Level design can vary from chaotic and difficult to moody and atmospheric. The music is some of the best you’ll hear in a video game, and I remember spending long hours converting YouTube videos of the OST to MP3s. It just rocks. All of it rocks. I’ve gotten so much millage out of bringing the disc over to friends’ houses… While the difficulty boils down to memorization over any actual strategy, this game has brought me more joy than most.
