too long too boring add excitment
Both one of the best and worst times I have had in a creepy, dark stairway.
Idk its cheap and its literally what most scp 087 games are, walking down a staircase for five minutes.
kinda sucks for 5 bucks, would be better if f2p honestly its not worth it.
the "game" is actually well done. you will notice I put game in quotation marks. that's because this isn't a game. it's a demo, or a proof of concept. at floor 32 you encounter the face and the game ends whether your light is on or off, whether you are looking in it's direction or not. the game mechanic of having a battery for the flash light is pointless as you will reach the face long before it runs out, and that is unfortunate because it would effectively add tension to the game if this was a game. there are the beginnings of a good tension based survival horror game here. I do not recommend this game because they are charging for it and in my opinion they should not be.
My god is it boring, worse than the free version from years ago.
this game gives me a lot of happiness,it let know that even if i am disabled,i should be brave to go down the stairs,and also let me know what shit feels to go down the stairs ten minutes,i still hope the game is finished soon!
NOT WORTH THE SPACE ON YOUR HARD DRIVE
The game seemed interesting, so I purchased it when it was on sale. I was dead wrong. Played it the other night and after about 5 minutes of movie footage with miserable audio, I was graced by being allowed to walk down flights of stairs. No Running, no jumping, just walking along very slowly. The walking gets incredibly tedious after about 6 minutes, but just before you are about to exit the game...something happens to keep you sucked in. You're enticed after finally seeing something that pulls you right back in, but all for naught.
If you've read this far and would like to have the entire game described, keep reading. WARNING: SPOILERS
Once you start walking down stairs and....nothing happens for about 6 minutes. There is some incredibly uninteresting chatter between your character and someone on the other end(presumably the guy from the movie sequences) who tells you to keep going. Eventually, you start to see a shadow of a generic person every other flight, and then you hear a baby crying off in the distance. The atmosphere is now really thick and you're all eyes and ears, just waiting for things to start to really happen. What is this shadow and why does it seem to be following me? Why is there a baby down here, and why is it crying? You keep going and eventually, stop caring about the shadow as it does nothing but run away whenever you get close to it. After about 16-20 minutes TOTAL GAME TIME, you are confronted with the stairs trailing off into nothing with a barely visible face staring at you from the dark. Your character talks about it being creepy and scaring the hell out of you, then the screen goes static and your character screams. THAT is the end of the game.
I'm sure the developer will be adding things eventually, so keep your eyes on this one in the future...the far future. Right now, though, I wouldn't even wait until it goes on sale. This is literally a 20 minute demo of what could be a decent game, but you have to pay for it.
This game sucks, it's not scary at all, and the shadow that's supposed to scare you is always the same. I've lost my time and my money.
Boring
It`s always the same boring game. You walk down the staircase for five minuts pass out, do it again. You don`t make any progress and it gets boring really fast...
uuuuum it was ok. not worth 5 dollars. maybe improve voice acting. possibly add to the gameplay
The game is pretty, but the controls are terrible... I don't want to sound cruel, but the mouse sensitivity is just SOOOO high, that any little touch left or right, winds up whipping you all over the room. a good attempt, but it really needs to be fixed there....

Lets start off with a few things straight.
Graphics look like a high school project.
Voice acting on par with the toaster located in my kitchen.
Stairs lots of them.
What more could i possibly say about this life changing experience that hasn't already been said about the masterpeice known as SCP-087: Recovered document, My life hasn't ever been the same since i've experienced this game all i could say is thank you, Thank you Korovkin Nikita for blessing these cursed lands with the holy grail of SCP-087: Recovered document.

atleast the legs move around like spaghetti noodles when you spin really fast
I can't say I recommend this game. Although I understand that SCP-087 is a staircase, it would be nice if they added more eventful happenings instead of just moving shadows and the rare stop to talk to the scientist.
Also, the English is wayyyyy too choppy. If you're gonna make a game in a language that is not your native tongue, you're best bet is to hire someone who speaks it fluently.
It sounds like the people talking are legitimately reading the script for the FIRST time. There is little to no enthusiasm in the voices of the people talking.
Graphics are pretty pixelated but it's fine since it's an SCP game.
Would be nice if you made the player just a tad faster because irl I would never actually descend down these steps as such a slow rate.
EDIT: I am requesting a refund.

15min stairwalking simulator with horrible camera sensitivity
Honestly, I loved the idea of this horror game and was interested in the lore behind this SCP. It was very creepy at the start, the atmosphere was perfectly dark and ominious, but after a few minutes, you get used to the creepy suspense. It gets very repetitive after a while and the speed of the walking is far too slow for me to get into the game 100%. I know the speed was probably done that slow to add to the suspense, but it didn't work with me. The scares, however, are pretty good and the ending creeped me out, but I had a problem with the cutscenes as the dialogue were too quiet for me to catch much of what's being said and it would be nice if there was an option to turn on subtitles. Overall, not the best horror game, but it definitetly has an interesting take to create a scary atmosphere.
Literally a stair simulator and that is all. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
As of right now I am conflicted. The game has promise but as of now it is short and not that scary. The price tag does not help either. The devs say that they will add more to it so if it was up to me i say wait for the game to get more content. Hopefully with the release of more of the documents it will get better and be worth the $10 price tag (I will change it once more stuff gets added to it)
