Mysterious Realms is a dungeon crawler RPG game about exploring the realms of mystery. In this game you take control over the team of brave Heroes and embark with them on dangerous missions. Mysterious Realms has a very unique combat system based on the deck with Crystals in five colours.

The combat mechanics are interesting, but the game is very poorly designed. There are significant issues with the interface, and the loading times between turns are unreasonable with how simple the game is. Not worth buying.
A fairly simple fun game. Well worth the price. I enjoyed it and will probably play it again down the road.

I've spent close to four hours on this game so far despite all of the triple A titles in my library, which I haven't completed yet , so that should say something for MRRPG
It's a nice game to mess with if you are short on time, don't want to wade through load screens of larger games, and don't have the focus for knee-jerk game pad titles; something to dick around in while your girlfriend is screaming in your ear over the phone and you're eatin' crow.
Only complaints is I feel that ALL controls should be handled by mouse for us lazy people.
Cool game. 8-9 hours to complete.
Solid game mechanics.
Well having completed this game I have to add my voice to the chorus of good reviews this game has received. It's a basic, not too involved dungeon crawler that is fast paced and fun. The game employs some interesting mechanics with the use of colored crystals to deal damage and power abilities.
There were some frustrating moments with the monsters always seeming to get the first move after the first round of combat, this basically gives the monsters 2 back-to-back actions between the 1st & 2nd rounds which seems a little unfair. Also the monsters had a disturbing tendency to survive with just one hit point to eek out another combat round. However, I did like that if you did fail you kept the gold/loot you had collected so far, and could even abandon a quest to go back to town and regroup in order to try again. So eventually you should get strong enough to make it through and be able to progress.
Once you complete the campaign and max out your characters there not much replay value here unless you just want to complete all the achievements, however, for the price the game provides several hours of enjoyment and challenge and would make a good addition to any collection.
A fun ride!
On the menu you have some light dungeon crawling, a few puzzles for extra loot, two characters with a few gear slots and a four colour crystal system (cards) to simulate battles. Each crystal also have a value (used for damage calculation).
Pretty simple mechanic offering different synergies between skills and crystals. Enemies also have predictable actions and a set of colour weaknesses that you can/should take into account.
You need around 7hours to get through the full content, unlock all hero skills, gear them out and increase your crystal values.
Looking forward to a DLC or sequel, good job Itharius!

Nice, bite-sized RPG with a twist. If you're looking for something to chill out with, love card-based games, and don't have a lot of time for a single session, gives this one a try.

I completed this game once, but I'm going to play second time and more for get all achievements :).
System of battle was very interesing for me, I like this one.
What's more music and this type of graphic are adding magic to this game!

So far game looks really good. Fighting system is interesting and uniqe. Graphics and music are pretty nice. Can't wait to play some more.
There are some nice mechanics in here. This game might seem a bit overwhelming at the beginning but it's really easy to play once you get the most important rules. Not the best title in the world but still worth it, considering the price. I was positively surprised even though I'm not a fan of complicated games.
It's a very fun game. Even if you think the tutorial looks overwhelming, don't let it scare you off. It's easy enough to get the hang of and I like the little riddles and puzzles you encounter in your missions. I'm currently only a couple hours in but I already feel like like I got my money's worth. Can't wait to explore the game some more!
At the point of writing I'm about 75 min. into the game and so far it's proven to be a fun little dungeon crawler.
You control two heros making their way through several dungeons. Each dungeon has different (although usually similar) objectives, like winning x fights, encountering x events or lighting all torches up. The meat of the game is definitively in the fights, whose mechanics make up the larger portion of the lengthy, but well-written (in terms of explaining) tutorial. The fights are turn-based and with no positioning or movement, but rather an order of acting determined semi-randomly each round. That and special monster abilities cycling through activation phases inform tactical choices. To act each of the heros first activates two colored cards from a randomly drawn hand, and then may activate a skill, provided the colors of the activated cards matches the skills requirements. Also each of the colored cards hurts an enemy during activation on top of whatever effect a used skill might have, and each enemy is vulnerable to specific color combinations each turn. Skills as well as monster abilities can influence or take further advantage of colors played, cards remaining in hand or current monster ability activation phases, which increases the layers of tactical options.
Combined this system is surprisingly fun and well-designed, though so far it's engaging rather than challenging (again, 75 minutes in).
In addition to the combat there are events spicing up the dungeons, which are usually a short description and then a roll against one of the attributes of the heros, or just a set difficulty. One can spend resources beforehand to add to the roll and avoid penalties / gain benefits by winning the roll.
Rpg-wise this is a mixed bag; the heros and their class are set (warlock and warrior), but their skillset can be expanded or improved by spending gold. Also for gold you can buy new equipment or one-time ressources like potions. Besides gold or equipment you can find crystals which allow you to improve the damage value of the colored cards and salvage. The latter willl yield a random piece of equipment if you collect enough.
There is no real story to speak of (at least so far). Heros protect town from Evil by going into its lairs and killing its minions. There aren't even any NPCs to speak of; the stores in town are just buildings.
All in all I found the game to be quite fun. The highlight is of course the combat minigame, which seems well designed. I'm quite pleased having bought this on a whim, and consider this well worth the price.
I've only played about 2 hours, but it is fun so far.
Your 2-member party is based in a small town and they leave to do single-dungeon missions. The missions I've done took 10-20 minutes each. You will run across events that are resolved by a random roll, augmented by your stats and possibly other things like a useful item you happen to be carrying, or certain colors of crystals, if you currently have them available. I re-did one of the dungeons and the events, encounters and rewards were all different. All events and encounters can be seen and avoided if desired, but the mission usually requires you to complete a certain number of them
There doesn't seem to be much of a story. I don't care about story so this doesn't matter to me. I just want to build the characters and kill Foozle. I am not interested in Foozle's motivations.
The combat is simplistic, but fun. I still only have 2 skills each, but there are several more that you can learn so it will likely get more complex. It does take a few minutes to get the hang of how everything works.
There are 6 gear slots for each character.
I'll add more once I've put more time in it.
