THIS GAME IS ORGASMICALLY GOOD
fun
it good
This game actively disrespects your time
Classic gameplay
Capcom simply vanishes forever right after releasing one of the best Mega Man ever made...hope we get a new game soon
why is the electric guy weak to balls in his face
Game is hard, game is good.
megaman feels and looks great !
my first Megaman game, it's pretty fun!
This game is fun as balls.
Absolutely solid for a Megaman entry. Megaman has been around long enough so I don't need to explain what this is, but I will explain this: Megaman 11 is part of the mainline entries of the original Megaman. Megaman is not Megaman X and this isn't Megaman Zero or ZX, that means going back to stages looking for secrets and such isn't a thing. This is the straight-forward pickup and play, linear 2D action platformer using 3D graphics and it does it well for Megaman. Do not expect to get much if any replay value. If you've been playing these games since NES days, you'll be right at home here.
Honestly I can't say that full price is worth the title considering you can complete all this in a handful of hours. Was worth it to me at a 65% discount with the legacy bundle of games.
dope
buy it and returned, game move too slow and unable to run properly
It’s good if you like challenges, but bad if you don’t like stressful games like me. I’m so bad at playing this game!.
Felt extremely linear.
No exploration, finding upgrades, or feeling of accomplishment. Just run the linear level, collect some currency that is easily grabbed in the level and buy mostly meaningless upgrades.
Just did not feel entertaining or fun with this design. No secrets, no tricks, just basic.
I've seen a lot of people saying this game is hard and, I guess? I dunno. MM2 was my first Mega Man back when I was in grade school. I don't think it's terribly difficult. There's a couple of segments that are a little extreme and some of the stages feel kind long but otherwise the difficulty is fine.
Graphics are great, music is great, boss design is great. Weapons are ok. Gear system thing? I've played through this game I think 3 or 4 times and I've never needed it. In fact I usually remap my controls just so I don't hit the buttons when I don't mean to.
Mega Man 11 is one of the finest compromises in a Mega Man title:
A gimmick resembling VFX from Viewtiful Joe;
Customization with in-game currency that is earned and not purchased with real world money;
Difficulty settings available when starting a new game;
No passwords; just save data.
Side-scrolling and Platform Action genre gamers should at least find this a decent effort with good incentives for multiple return experiences. Mega Man 11 is worth a try for Blue Bomber fans and those new to Mega Man games alike.
I had a lot of fun playing this but whoever made the Bubble Man stage is a real A hole. This isn't a super difficult game like some Mega Man's. It's worth playing for sure.
what a way to end off the x and mega man series (atleast for me since i was playing through both franchises)
this is honestly my favorite mega man game
there's just so much charm, fun, good robot master design, and the special weapons are honestly my favorite of the series. plus, the story and depth in both wily and lights past were a really nice treat
easy 10/10, thanks for the good game capcom
never finished this game but the demo was amazing so I plan on finishing it one day.
Great
If only there were newer games
The OG Megaman experience with modern perks. Well made, good story, and long-term gain/progressing. Neat Megaman game worthy of the title eleven. The gimmick of this game is the double gearing system, which means you can either boost your damage or slow the speed of the world (you're hyperspeed) for a short while. Which makes for some interesting game play.
It's a great revival of classic Rockman series..
A refreshing way to bring Megaman to to modern day. The double gear system was a fantastic addition, adding a new layer of depth to an already solid game play formula. My one complaint is that in comparison to the "original" classic Megaman series, 11 feels rather easy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game a lot, but it often felt like the level design was softened for more modern audiences. This is more a personal complaint whoever, so take it how you will. Other than that, I highly recommend Megaman 11 to anyone wanting to give the Megaman series a try
This game is truly fantastic
Wonderful game
I have bought and completed this game on every platform it has been available on, and even today, I keep replaying it because of its incredible gameplay. I eagerly await the next entries in the saga, as this one has far surpassed everything that came before it.
Being a bitter, old gamer I thought this was going to look and play more like a Flash game from the early 2000's, as a disgrace to the perfect pixels of the NES series... however, I was pleasantly surprised by the responsive game-play and the quality of the character designs. Capcom put in the effort with the soundtrack as well.
This is a must buy if you appreciate any of the Mega Man games.
I started out really disliking this game. Something about the new aspect ratio, the way tons of enemies slowed you down, the lackluster weapons at first, game overing three times on the 'recommended' first stage...felt like it was everything I hated about mega man thrown together.
But then my friend told me to not judge a mega man game on the first stage. After all, the first stages SHOULD be the most difficult. After experimenting and trying a few more times, the game really grew on me. The gear system is an interesting addition to mega man history, particularly speed gear. Power gear......has some problems. Being a lower DPS against normal enemies and mini bosses is one thing, being a walking screen nuke for half your weapons is another....but speed gear makes combat feel really interesting and new for Mega Man.
Something MM11 lacks is a 'neutral' special weapon. Think laser trident, gemini laser, metal blade (lol)...there's pretty much nothing in your arsenal that will shoot in front of you and take out enemies with proper aim. The repeated prevalence of shield enemies doesn't make this less annoying. However, basically ALL the weapons DO have a use, it's just that they take out enemies in places that aren't in front of you. This really makes you think different about weapon usage, but with a little optimization it can really be enjoyable to quick-switch with the weapons and dance through the levels while slowing down time.
There's the fair share of unfair rooms and instant death, but that's present in every mega man game. While classic, 8 bit mega man continues in fan games, rom hacks, and the legacy collection, the SOUL of mega man is still here.
The soundtrack is REALLY great, it's also grown on me and of the 11 classic games it's definitely in a 'top 3', helped by being a modern composition of course but it's really great!
Pick it up for mega man fans!
When I was a child, I couldn't enjoy Megaman series enough until I played Megaman X Series. The hardness of the controls and difficulties are unbearable for me, but until I played Megaman X4 Series in Playstation, I enjoyed it very much just like the rest of X5, X6 and so on. Till recently I played Megaman 11 and with the new addition of functions, features and storyline, and still getting used to the controls, I'm loving Megaman 11. Even if I play it just to lose or getting killed during the stage before the boss or during fight with the boss, with nice 3D Rendered Graphics and all, it is enjoyable is all I can say. Bringing modern to the old, new to the used, cranky and rusty, I have to say Megaman 11 is a must experience to have.
.
11 is one of the easier classic titles, but it's still pretty enjoyable even if the Double Gear system makes some sections much easier than they need to be.
Not something I was expecting out of the classic games, but these might be some of the better bosses from the classic games, I don't think it beats 2 or 9 in that sense.
Gameplay-wise, it has the best feel out of the classic games, and so is level design.
Granted, I think the game had much more potential than it could've shown.
Mega Man 11 is the newest entry in the original series and is very faithful to the franchise: explore 8 different levels and defeat their respective bosses by exploiting their weaknesses, steal their powers and stop Dr. Wily's villainous plan to conquer the world. The new Double Gear system allows you to either slow down time or boost Mega Man's power, which is fun. As always, the game might seem a little challenging at first, but once you have purchased a few items and parts, the game ends up being one of the easiest in the franchise. Trying to complete as many achievements as possible was fun too. As Roll would say: "Good luck out there, Mega!"
START AT THE EASIEST FIRST! The game is somewhat difficult when you know what you're doing, but it's an absolute nightmare when you first start and you decide to play anything above the easiest difficulty. But, once you get used to the awesome double gear and its well deserved limitations, it is a very enjoyable game. With one of my favorite soundtracks, great story and cutscenes, and fairly complicated but fun game mechanics to juggle, it is one of my favorite games of all time. Another note: I LOVE how they slow down the music when speed gear is in effect, it improves the experience drastically.
mega man 11 is like mega man 11 if it had the stuff from mega man 11 and not mega man soccer on the snes

10/10!
A great classic Megaman game.
The story is super simple good guy vs bad guy troupe and it adds nothing to the lore of Megaman except maybe the existence of the Double Gear system.
Gameplay is satisfying and made all the more fun with the Double Gear system.
Bosses are challenging as they can also just the Double Gear system.
Overall, a good 7/10 Megaman game.
One of the best classic megaman games so far!
game good 👍
Not the best megaman but a good megaman
Traditional to a Fault
I hate to admit this, but classic Mega Man really isn't for me. What may have been unique and influential in the 8-bit "golden era" of the 80s doesn't quite work as well for me in the present day if nothing is done to iterate on it. The game sticks to is decades-old guns a bit too closely for my liking, leading to overall punishing and crude game design all for no real reason other than the sake of misconceived tradition. (Seriously, why can I still only shoot in one direction?)
+ Double Gear system provides needed supplements to the fundamental jumpin'/shootin'
+ Upgrades return from the previous games
- Crude difficulty and design with punishing obstacles and limited lives/checkpoint opportunities of previous entries
- Besides Double Gear, no other core gameplay changes of note to help differentiate it from other games in the series
I consider this to be the most balanced Megaman title so far. With several well-crafted difficulty levels, anybody can start playing this game and enjoy it. It also finally brings Megaman into our 21st century with reasonably modern graphics and voice acting that doesn't make the skin crawl. While it's not a favorite, it's well executed and enjoyable. This is the first Megaman game that I actually bought and played on its release date and I would say it was worth it. Hopefully we will get a sequel.
NICE
man I suck at this game
