11 is one of the easier classic titles, but it's still pretty enjoyable even if the Double Gear system makes some sections much easier than they need to be.
Not something I was expecting out of the classic games, but these might be some of the better bosses from the classic games, I don't think it beats 2 or 9 in that sense.
Gameplay-wise, it has the best feel out of the classic games, and so is level design.
Granted, I think the game had much more potential than it could've shown.
Mega Man 11 is the newest entry in the original series and is very faithful to the franchise: explore 8 different levels and defeat their respective bosses by exploiting their weaknesses, steal their powers and stop Dr. Wily's villainous plan to conquer the world. The new Double Gear system allows you to either slow down time or boost Mega Man's power, which is fun. As always, the game might seem a little challenging at first, but once you have purchased a few items and parts, the game ends up being one of the easiest in the franchise. Trying to complete as many achievements as possible was fun too. As Roll would say: "Good luck out there, Mega!"
START AT THE EASIEST FIRST! The game is somewhat difficult when you know what you're doing, but it's an absolute nightmare when you first start and you decide to play anything above the easiest difficulty. But, once you get used to the awesome double gear and its well deserved limitations, it is a very enjoyable game. With one of my favorite soundtracks, great story and cutscenes, and fairly complicated but fun game mechanics to juggle, it is one of my favorite games of all time. Another note: I LOVE how they slow down the music when speed gear is in effect, it improves the experience drastically.

A great classic Megaman game.
The story is super simple good guy vs bad guy troupe and it adds nothing to the lore of Megaman except maybe the existence of the Double Gear system.
Gameplay is satisfying and made all the more fun with the Double Gear system.
Bosses are challenging as they can also just the Double Gear system.
Overall, a good 7/10 Megaman game.

Traditional to a Fault
I hate to admit this, but classic Mega Man really isn't for me. What may have been unique and influential in the 8-bit "golden era" of the 80s doesn't quite work as well for me in the present day if nothing is done to iterate on it. The game sticks to is decades-old guns a bit too closely for my liking, leading to overall punishing and crude game design all for no real reason other than the sake of misconceived tradition. (Seriously, why can I still only shoot in one direction?)
+ Double Gear system provides needed supplements to the fundamental jumpin'/shootin'
+ Upgrades return from the previous games
- Crude difficulty and design with punishing obstacles and limited lives/checkpoint opportunities of previous entries
- Besides Double Gear, no other core gameplay changes of note to help differentiate it from other games in the series
I consider this to be the most balanced Megaman title so far. With several well-crafted difficulty levels, anybody can start playing this game and enjoy it. It also finally brings Megaman into our 21st century with reasonably modern graphics and voice acting that doesn't make the skin crawl. While it's not a favorite, it's well executed and enjoyable. This is the first Megaman game that I actually bought and played on its release date and I would say it was worth it. Hopefully we will get a sequel.

Still a fun challenging game just like Megaman!
This game is literally unplayable, and since I got it during a sale, it's also literally un-refundable. I was really looking forward to trying this game out, but it straight up will not load past the start screen, and not only is this a common issue that has been there since day one, apparently, neither Steam nor Capcom have even *tried* to fix it. I just want to play the damn game, please... stop with this whack ass Denuvo crap, ffs...

Bastardization of the OG. Hard to be hard for the niche fans. I personally was a kid that enjoyed the light challenge during the 90s, but this game is just.. pandering. NO. This aint the Megaman pre X I recall. No thank you.

A decent heir with good visual design.
Mega Man 11 is hands down one of the best 2d platformers to come out in recent years.
Pros:
Mega Man controls best here, making platforming feel tight and responsive.
The level design is top notch and home to some of the best stages in the series (except Bounce Man's stage).
The aesthetics and revamped 3d character designs look great.
Music has that genuine Mega Man vibe to it, leading to some absolutely fire tracks
(if you don't like the synthy feel of the tracks, you can always switch them to the orchestral versions).
The boss design is excellent here, and with the addition of Speed & Power Gear, it gives the bosses some extra oomph.
The Special Weapon lineup are all pretty solid, and add to the rock, paper, scissors strategy, giving the game lots of replayability.
Also if you're worried about the high level of difficulty that MM games are known for, there are multiple different difficulty options for newcomers and veterans of the series alike.
Cons:
The entirety of Bounce Man's stage sucks.
The story here isn't anything much, even if it's to be expected from a Mega Man game. The puzzling exclusion of Proto Man and Bass was kind of odd.
The game's length is pretty short, containing only 10 full length stages. At least the extra content like the challenges make up for the main game short runtime.
In conclusion, MM11 is one of the best games in the entire MM series. It's also the perfect starting point to get into the series. Also if you aren't a fan of the $30 price tag, you can always just wait for it to go on sale. MM11 is great for anyone looking for a peak 2d platformer or just a really fun game in general.
9/10 will play again.

You like Mega Man? Is Mega Man more then the old OSTs? You like a bit of a mix up in game play, maybe you always found the Yellow Devil to be pretty annoying. Well, 11 solves most of that. Might not be my favorite, but as fair as Mega Man games go, its a good time.

As soon as he invents an AssMan, that's the level I move to and inhabit permanently. He'll be right next door to Weed Man.
I honestly relate to Dr. Wily. Dr. Light is more approachable and made everyone think that the genius Wily shouldn't be listened to. Clearly Wily knows what he's doing. And clearly Dr. Light has to use Wily's own invention to stop him. They should call this game Wily Man 11 and just let Wily go at it.
Great re-make to Mega Man. It has a MegaMan 2 feel with completely enhanced 3D graphics and great audio while keeping the 2D side-scrolling perspective. If you loved MegaMan 2 I think you will love this!
Bought it out of nostalgia but have been playing to finish it and not for fun.

Fun stuff mad hard platforming bits in this one for my Unc ass
After frustrating myself with 7 out of 8 robutt bosses, I can safely say there's no real meaningful difficulty to be had here, everything is "tight jumps or else!" or very boring timey situations. I think I may just quit playing this if I don't figure out bounce man stage... It's truly garbage.
A great Megaman game that moves the franchise forward. If you like any of the classic Megaman games, you'll love this one too.
a very good game. the gear system is fun to use, the weapon roster is fantastic, the stage design is pretty good overall, a really fun time. strongly recommend it. easily in my top 3 favorite classic megaman game

I've played MM1-10 and MMX, but I couldn't quite get into this, though I’m not entirely sure why. It’s more of a bunch of little annoyances adding up. The controls feel a bit off to me—both sluggish and overly bouncy at the same time. While I totally understand the choice to go for a modern art style instead of pixel art, the visuals come off as too cartoony for my taste. The music also doesn’t grab my attention like it did in some of the older games. I had some issues with the level design where I think elements weren't explained that well. I don't like the gear system and it feels kinda forced on you.
Overall, the design just doesn’t click with me.

- Classic style platformer with pew pew and charge pew pew.
- Maybe some unga and some bunga.
- 8 robot masters then Dr. Wily.
- Defeat a robot master, get a new ability that uses W energy.
- Speed/power boosts based on a new gear power system.
- Changing robot master abilities changes more than your color now.
- You can buy power ups and equipment with screw currency
- The game is as difficult or as hard as you make it. (Don't use e-tanks, ban gear powers, only use the mega buster, etc.)
- Fun challenge achievements if you're an achievement hunter
A GREAT GAME
Game over after 10 minutes
This Mega-man game is a very solid representation of what Mighty No.9 was supposed to be. I have played it on and off and the game-play is the winner here. Visual aspects are very solid too.
