I really like this game. Barely completed Gundam Wing , G-Unit and Endless Waltz and I have almost 80 hours of gameplay. I love that I can finally use the niche suits like Mercerius and Virgos.

Now if we can get Genesis, that'd be awesome!

great game. kinda confusing at first and its a grind but if you don't mind a game that will take about a month to get to end game its fun. only down side is the stat system isn't explained too much and cac system is kinda unexplained too. overall great fun

THE BEST GAME EVER

SD gundam cross rays is a fantastic game, for about 8 hours until you start to unravel what is effectively a phone game made for PC.
This game is a good love letter to the many franchises of old and caps out at IBO gecko and seeing all the gundams, pilots, and hearing the old iconic music form the series is really what kept me going, the gameplay is not really very good since its very fire emblem IE just click your unit move unit set spaces and click enemy unit then click move you want to use and it hits or misses based off accuracy and evasion.
THE big major problem i have with this game is how utterly easy it is even on the "expert" difficulty, so starting out when you dont have very many gundams expert is not do able, however there is a game mechanic where instead of playing the game you can send your units on missions that can take from 1 to 12 real hours and they get XP and money based off performance, not really that bad passive grinding is better to not make your game boring. HOWEVER the second system in the game is DEVELOP, based off a mobile suits xp and level you can develop it into a more advanced version of it or something completely different. THATS my problem this game actually rewards you more for not playing the game than it does for wanting to play. to beat this dumpster of a game all you have to do is just one mission one of IBO get barbatos 1st form then just passive farm xp till you get lupus rex and win every story since all the gundams in IBO/gecko are all resistant to beam weapons which is the PRIMARY WEAPON OF EVERYOTHER GUNDAM FRANCHISE

amazing games sunk a lot of hours just need a way to speed up fights but really fun , probably needs some optimization but any Gundum fan would love this really lets u use everyone shows music loyal story and attacks quotes .

The last of the G generations, it really is perfection for the franchise....... BUT

1. those who are offline players need not apply as most if not all really stuff is online content and you deciding to NOT be online is gonna force your to GRRRRRRINNNNNNDDDDDD!

2. Microtransactions for what should have been day one content, really?!

3. Some mission require 100% RNG luck as your team is in one map and you have to use a friendly unit to progress which can be destroyed in 2 crits usually. So your playing defense half that mission (and there is one in each story line at least.)

As a gundamite i paid full price, but now its gonna sit up in the barn because im an offline [;ayer and im not going to be on 12-24 hours at a time so i can get 4% progress on a daily mission. 4/10 for gundam fans, 2/10 for offliners

Crashed repeatedly on the second mission of the game for me. Tried a few different fixes. I have very little patience for this kind of thing now-a-days

This is kind of a biased opinion....... I love Gundam and I enjoy pretty much all of the Gundam games that have come out. Except Encounters in Space on PS2, $$$$ that POS.
Cross Rays is huge, it looks fantastic, and your getting to see stories unfold that were only released in Japanese or manga. I definitely recommend this game!!

The only thing I would change......wish it were done as Real Robots not SD.

As a somewhat avid enjoyer of strategy games alike SRW and usch, Cross Rays has been one of the most easy to (re)learn and enjoy from the entirety of the SD Gundam G series.

Fans of After Colony, Cosmic Era, and recent Gundam works will definitely enjoy this game with it's somewhat abundant units, characters, and lore. Albeit it's such a shame that it doesn't have any more updates that would feature some stuffs from the more recent series and newer entries. Still, it's a good game.

Games crashes constantly for me

A fantastic game with my favorite gundam series, wing, seed, 00, sadly one of the weakest entries as well IBO. (No offense IBO fans) This game is the type you can always circle back to eventually start a new game and enjoy time and time again. Worth every cent no regrets. Hopefully the series continues and eventually they start doing proper models instead of chibi's. 10/10

This game is a must for any Gundam fan.

I personally like Gundam. So, this game is a treat for me. Although we won't know when the company would make another new SD Gundam G Generation game, I do hope that they don't take too long. The game is at least straight to the point using previous G Generation series to polish up the gameplay. Learning curve is not hard if you understand how the game mechanics work. If you are a fan of the series then this is a must purchase. Score: 8.5/10. Recommendation: Yes, either on discount or full price.

Its incredibly sad that the game no longer actually works for me like many others. and how like other Gundam games on this platform it goes completely ignored, at this point buying this game in its state is similar to being scammed out of your money.

This game is great. the combat animations are top notch and the strategy element is good to. i would recomend waiting until its on sale. I will say that this game is very gindy. it takes time for your mobile suits to be able to one shot the enemy especialy on higher difficulties. I would also recomend you start with either Seed/Destiny or 00 as the units you can get from them are basicly op ibo is adifficult start unless you have a large amount of physical attackers. This game is not for everyone but if you like turn based stratagy games give this one a try.

For gundam lovers, this game bring back memories of playing SD Gundam G Generation Spirits, Wars, World and Overworld. All mechanics are the same with some improvement. It would be perfect if they include gundams from U.C timeline.

Played this on playstation before and decide to get it on PC because i totally love this series,, too bad SD Gundam Genesis arent available on PC,,

Tbh nothing much to say, it is strategy turn based-RPG, most of the storyline follow the anime series and most of their side story (which is a plus since i dont really read their side story manga), you can recruit and use all of the characters and all the mobile suits. you can develop from 1 mobile suit to another after reaching the required level.

Of course, the thing i love most about this game is to be able to create my own characters and squads and use the myriad of mobile suits available,, and all of them have cutscene and dialog when fighting. I just hope they give more character customization for next instalment.

I like this game, but it occasionally crashes and should not happen in a developed game published 5 years ago. Please fix it.

I love gundam, and have since i was a child. Wing was my first one, followed by Seed, 00, and IBO. This game is amazing lets me play out scenerios that i have had in my mind for years! If you Like Gundam, and tactical games like Fire Emblem Then this game is for you. The number of suits is amazing and I find my self trying to make my groups have themes.

The long and short of it: It's a tactics sandbox where you collect mech suits and pilots, put them in squads and participate in battles as extras assisting heroes against overwhelming odds. Very fun mechanics but battles sometimes drag on.

Mechanics and mission variety is awesome, but missions can easily take hours to complete due to the sheer number of enemies that it throws your way. There's ways to cut down the grind, but abusing the strats will suck the fun out of the battles altogether. Also there's a dispatch/idle mode where you send squads off on missions to get exp/items in return, which is an awesome means of grinding without grinding.

I'd never really delved into any of the actual stories of Gundam before, so this was my entry point (To which a mate of mine lamented that it's "All AC garbage and not UC"). For those new to the Gundam series, it's not a bad starting point. Yes, you'll be initially overwhelmed by the random options of suits and vehicles you could purchase for your team, but as you dip into each series you'll start piecing together who belongs where and start picking out your own favourites. I honestly appreciate it bypassing any fourth-wall gushing or attempts to explain why your forces show up.

The only thing I lament is the lack of a skirmish mode where you could pit your troops against each other, or missions with randomised enemy squads. It could do with more short missions too.

A great game IF you're into Gundam AUs, specifically Gundam SEED and 00 since they have the most content and coverage here. Excellent combat and link system, not so great maps. A ton of content, but you really need to be a fan of the AUs to get full enjoyment. DLC is a must, buy it on sale and sink ~100 hours to finish the whole thing.

FRUSTRATING

This is the game that were bought using real money not something downloaded pirately. Why cant you make it work properly? Seriously a game from PS2 cant run properly in 2020 pc/laptop without AMD shit stuff? Bandai you're just plain scamming people at this time.
