Its annoying how u pick up any gun u walk over and throw away the one you're using but other then that its alright for how low priced it is. 5/10
It's an unusual mix of a platformer with a side-scrolling shooter and I really like it. You can pick up 2 guns and become a heavy glass cannon or your can drop your guns and become defenseless but gain the ability to jump high. The game, then, becomes all about knowing when to use which and adapting to the situations the game throws at you. Oh, and remembering which clump of 2x2 pixels is a deadly dynamite that will kill you many more times than the actual enemies.
Fantastic game if you want to go back to NES era difficulty and gameplay. Enjoyable gameplay and an interesting puzzle platformer, but expect to die and restart the entire level a lot. This game is aimed at a VERY specific gaming itch and it scratches that itch wonderfully.
Mostly good, but the fact that the puzzle platformer and death simulator spoils the impression.
This game loves instant deaths and doesn't like checkpoints but was overall fun to 100%.
This is a...2D Pixel action Plat-former if you're looking for one (Imagine Reventure with Guns)
Basically where Reventure ( a fk tons of Deaths, Retry ) + Bro Force (silly deaths, boss fights, enemy type, explosions, puzzle) + Super Meat Boi (Darksoul Platforming) with ANNOYING checkpoint where you had to redo the god damn sequences again !!!
*Be warned, if you're planning to buy this game, and 100% it...you had BEEN WARNED*
Pros:
1) Tons of weapons
2) Tons of area ( set location with secrets n stuff)
3) A little "trophy shop"? Where you can spend your points from every mission and buy some new weapons n stuffs
4) Puzzles + Platforming + Bossfights + Interesting Set pieces from every other games you had played
Cons:
1) Tons of Rage quit cuz you FAT FINGURED it, you are too slow, pressed wrong button, din't pay attention, got cocky etc.
2) Trial and error...you got 1 life ( with 1 helmet when you got it, but it can only blocks 1 bullet )
3) NO Freaking Checkpoint per section !!! ....meaning if you fk it up, you replay the whole area again ( so basically the walk of pain)
4) Your coins / credit din't added up to the bank if you Died over and over again
5) Achievements in this game are hard? guess need more player (pros)
6) EVERYTHING IN THIS GOD DAMN GAME TRY TO KILLS YOU

Oh yeah, your achievements does not pop up unless you close the game, but thankfully the "Store section" had a "record " for that

This game is simple yet awesomely addictive and difficult. The pixel graphics are funny and nicely done with everything feeling right, the colors, outlines and overall graphics style.
The amount of particle effects during the game play are insane. This is also the only downside I have up until now, the amount of particles also slow down your (older) system. It sometimes slows down enough to not register a key press often resulting in a restart of the level.
I'd recommend this game for anyone who likes fast action 2D platformers.
Fun & bloody little pixel shooter in the vein of Broforce. It has some clever mechanics (like not being able to jump as high while carrying heavy weapons), & is very entertaining in general & well worth the price of admission.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME
It probably isn't what you think it is, I know it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. But that's no reason for a negative review, as if you know what you're getting going in, you're going to find a competently made game.
You have a single hitpoint and can get a hat which gives you 1 extra health and allows you to both take one hit (losing the hat in the process) plus break items by jumping from under them while wearing the hat.
You can carry two guns, and they slow your movement and limit your jump height, but this is part of the "puzzle" aspect of the game. You need to figure out how to traverse the entire level, throw your guns to lighten your load so you can make key distance and height jumps, then pick them back up. Its a cool concept. There's also secrets and unlockable guns which require a bit of this "puzzling" to unlock.
I think for me, what kills this game is that there's no real reason for there to be 1 hitpoint. It adds nothing for me, specifically when some minor glitch happens (foes spawn at exit resulting in insta-death) or when you make a wrong jump and die at the end of a level. The layering of the particle effects and enemy projectiles is wrong as well, for you can die from a stray enemy projectile that you literally cannot see from behind the particles.
For many this is what they look for in a game: challenging and repetitious until you get each level "right".
Ultimately I refunded, but I can see why others would enjoy this.
My only real major gripe is that even on a monster gaming rig, there are INSANE slowdowns when only a few particle effects are on the screen. Unbelievable for such a simplistic 2D game but there it is!!!

This game gives me a lot of fun. It has excellent graphics, exciting musics, challenging puzzles and fast-pace fighting.
All puzzles are easy to understand, but hard to complete. I also found some tricks to defeat the boss.
However, there has no trick in the final mission. So I stuck at final boss. That's too hard for me to use a simple rifle to destroy it.
Mission Demolition is fun. It has high-action run-and-gun gameplay with smooth controls, cathartic violence, a large selection of varied weapons, and an unobtrusive sense of humour. It has plenty of secrets to hunt for, which often involves a certain amount of strategic play. It's challenging but not hard, except for the bosses. All in all, I think it's well worth the price and definitely recommend it.
The biggest weakness of the game is that things that can damage you can look similar, even identical to things that are harmless. When the screen fills up with explosions it's easy to lose track of things, which lead to a large fraction of my deaths. Also, I played the studio's earlier Prison Run and Gun, and there's not a huge amount of evolution from the earlier game; some extra weapons and maybe slightly larger levels. However, neither of these things prevent me having a positive opinion of this game.

comparing with broforce as seen in other reviews not correct, only first level feels the same - the rest of the game u won't shoot as hell
i like alll the bosses, u can't destroy them just firing your guns, there are patterns and weak places you should discover
this was a fun game to play if you have nothin to do,an easy way to kill time, the graphic was very charming but the enemies bullet can easily get lost in the background and it does not help that the control was very floaty and at time unresponsive.Over all this was a fun game,but i would not recommend buying at full price
If you like hard run and gun games with great pixelart and level design, support this developer. This is the second game I own by this developer (after Prison Run and Gun) and I love them both. It is fairly priced and a steal when on sale.

Beautifully simplistic pixel graphics, wonderful difficulty in certain areas, and tight gameplay. A great game to pick up if you like platforming, guns, puzzles, or pixel graphics.
Just a simply fun action game. Some nice elements that keep it interesting, although this is a challenging game, with one hit usually requiring starting over.
What sets this game apart from others is the jumping mechanism works with the weight of guns. Carry two guns for max firepower, one gun, or even no guns for jump higher, then pick them back up later. Pretty nifty when going for the level special rewards. But, those collectable rewards make it all the more frustrating when you are starting the level over again, because some stray bullet caught you, unexpectedly. There was a lot of screaming, "Oh, no!!" while I played.
Anyway, I bought this game at a steep discount on a whim, and I think it is a lot of fun. I am not sure why some tough games make me rage quit and others make me restart with a laugh. This one really shines with the great music, sound, and animations. Works fine on ubuntu linux 16.04 with radeon mesa drivers and a xbox-style gamepad controller.
The third installment of Hot Guns is still good as ever. This time you play as Jake, who has been asked by the city mayor himself to go to the country's prison and stop a crime organization from freeing their leader.
The platforming in this game is good too, and there are still lots of secrets and collectibles. The music is still excellent.
As always, this game is still cheap and fun, and grants you with hours of fun. Oh, and it still makes me rage. But if you get to know the game, it will be a piece of cake. And challenges are a great part of games.
I really recommend picking it up.
Also, did you think about this? You go into a really secure prison facility and you immideatly get "Deja Vu" at the prison stage... Hmm... Anyone getting Prison Run and Gun vibes? And you can see Bobby run from purple bunnies in the credits. Wow.
I haven't played much jet, but this Run & Gun action platformer with some puzze element is definitly for me. And also for you, check it out!
