Short game with basic combat, and precise platforming. Game isn't hard, the puzzles are simple, but satisfying. Don't except mind breaking puzzles like in Talos Principle. Story is so so it's simple with a little humour, interesting concept, but nothing ground breaking.
I recommend it on a discount.
Okay, Overloop is a bit weird, but I enjoyed playing it. Not too long, so get it on a sale.
Graphics and music are good. The game mechanic with the cloning has a lot of potential, but the puzzles in the game are not that challenging - I feel the developers should have included more elaborate puzzles.
Play it in between bigger games for an atmospheric fun little experience.
Pros:

- Good premise for a puzzle game, though it's not that puzzley.
Cons:
[*]The game is very short and the puzzles never become even remotely challenging. There is a story focus, but I didn't find that very engaging.
Overloop has a pretty cool premise and a decent story.
Unfortunately it's a rather short title, and overall it's an easy title as well. There was not a single puzzle that gave me pause - and the ones that "halted" my progress the most were the ones which require swift swaps between clones to do right - which is a testament to the somewhat mediocre control scheme than the puzzle itself.
That said the music is OK, and the overall idea is pretty cool. And while I managed to breeze through the puzzles without much thought I still enjoyed the overall journey.
Would I recommend this at full price? Absolutely no. Would I recommend this at a discount? Hell yeah.
Hidden Gem
A great little puzzle platformer game that controls well, with lovely pixel graphics, nice music, some good humour, and neat puzzles.
It may be fairly short (it took me 2.7 hours for a full 100% play-through) and not particularly challenging, but that doesn't stop it from being a very fun game.
Well done, smart and fun! A bit on the easy side but it's ok because I played it in "couch mode" and it was relaxing.
The game has a beautiful story. It detailed the both the lives of clones and so-called "originals" excellently. The game is worth the money. When it comes to achievements, I also like that we can get most of it as we progress through the game's story.
The part I didn't like game play-wise:
1. When the player dies on a certain part of the checkpoint, the entire checkpoint should be repeated.
A cute puzzle platformer with a lovely story, a really neat cloning mechanic, and some solid fun. My only small gripe is it's very short for the price, but otherwise it's beautifully executed.
It's a fun little game. The puzzles were simple but engaging. I only wish it was a bit longer, but for sure I recommend
