I would 100 percent suggest this game to others! The developer is very hard-working, community-based, and fantastic at what he does. He is always looking for ways to improve the quality of his game and community. He has come a very long way, lets give this man the support he deserves!

Dude had a solid game then took it down to "re-work it". Don't hand over your well earned shekels until the dev earns it. The guy is selling a currently non-existent product and the community is toxic. Will change review when circumstance changes.

i used to play this game every now and then back when it was still supported and loved it then and ive tried playing it for several months basically most of 2020 and still its not got any servers up so..assuming the game is now dead i wish they kept the servers up for the few of us who still enjoyed the game. (Also i played it on a different steam account thats why i have so little hours)

Not funny didn't laugh... The game was fun for a bit but when I realized it was just going to be me playing the whole time with no one else to play with, I decided to lay down my crystal farming hat. The single player was alright if a bit repetitive, and I would like to see more people in multiplayer matchmaking in the future. 10 hours in single player was about as much time as I could manage without getting bored after that its a crap shoot. 8/10 would farm some more.

The game itself is very unique in comparison to others. You can build, destroy, plan strategic defences and attacks, all while having a good time and making new friends along the way in a multiplayer/coop FPS game, of which can have one of many outcomes.

This game takes all of the qualities of other games of which I love and puts it all into one, fast OR slow paced game of which are both fun routes to take, combat-oriented alongside planning for both defences and attacks. And the building/destroying/digging mechanics which can be used to build literal sky scrapers or dig trenches as deep as you could imagine.

The community within the discord is very friendly, and are willing to help any and all newcomers to learn the basics of the game. When I first joined the discord, there was a fairly small match going on, I hopped on down and some guy helped me learn the basics. Sure, our team lost, but it was good fun.

The only Con as of this moment is that the servers are currently down due to the expense of which is places on the creator of the game. However, once servers are back online and the community knows about it, it'll start thriving, and hopefully become a well known game.

The playerbase is gone. I joined the discord server to look for a match and asked if anyone wanted to play in multiple channel. No response. I got this game months ago, and have played 3 matches. They added bots but I am yet to get any bots to work, or a match started with just me. Because of the price, and lack of content, I cannot recommend anyone buy this game. A damn shame.

This is a great game, it's admins are integrated into the community. Sure it doesn't have a huge player base, but if you join the discord you can usually find a match.

I wrote a positive review for this game 9 months ago. The idea is good, the gameplay can be pretty fun, but there are just no people playing it. The game is dead. The developers aren't doing any marketing as far as i know. I don't think there ever will be enough people playing this game for someone to be actually able to get into a match. Also, the game is made by a developer who has switched studio names multiple times in order to cover up the numerous asset flips they made. Don't buy this game unless it changes and actually has people playing it.

This game is so fucking good. If you feel turned away from this game due to the bad reviews, i'm here to change your mind. Although the player base is small, people such as Susurrus and any of the admins on the discord server make it easy to enjoy and get into the game. My first game was one of the best experiences I had playing a shooter in my time playing video games. In my opinion, the small player base is a huge plus; It allows for everyone to know each other in the community. The developer, Miles, has really created a masterpiece here and it's a shame that people have disliked this game due to the low player base. When you get into the game, JOIN THE DISCORD. The discord allows for you to communicate with other players and play matches with others. It might feel slow at first, but when you get into your first 5 vs. 5, your mind will be blown. The combat in this game is so fluid and the resource management doesn't feel like a chore at all. 11/10 Miles is a goddamn genius.

A really fun game. It's in early access, so it has a lot of some "rough edges", but it is playable with little to no problems and the developers are very active!
The major problem is the really small player base, but on the dedicated Discord there are often people who host or join custom matches!
I played some custom matches until now and I had A LOT of fun, so I really recommend it!

Okay. I bought this game a few days ago, i was extremely optimistic after reading reviews. I decided the £3 spent on the game may be worth it. I downloaded the game and loaded into a massive box which prompted me to join the discord, so i accepted. I quickly gathered that this game was a desolate wasteland and was dying by the day, with people explaining in the discord why the game was so bad and quickly being banned. I played the game for a few hours, i was having a blast. If you have a full team this game is really fun! However, upon needing help with an issue i was comfronted by a 'helper' which is basically a moderator, their name was 'bigwillyman' i was simply confused about the game's buggy machanics and asked why you could place turrets through walls as i kept on dying due to this. He simply replied ' fuck off the game was released last month retard '. I questioned him as to why he was allowed to represent the server with such a unformal name. I was then banned from the discord for 'retard' which basically means i am unable to play due to the fact you need discord to play because of the VC system and finding games is difficult.

It's preety bad, the gameplay, the glitchies and bugs, the missing features, let me start

Cons: -Bad framerate because the game is really not optimized
-the building sistem is so bad that i spent 30 minutes just trying to build a stair to go on the wall, no result
-the items are preety limited
-the max resolution in full HD so if you have a better monitor is useless
-You can't remove what you build, so if you want to troll, just build a box near your base and help the enemy kill the other players so they spaw in a indestructable box (until the enemy puts up 10 C4 and destroyes everything)
-the maps look dead
-the animations are awful
-if you walk on the wall it will most likely glitch like nothing else
-if you try to build a pit next to the wall so you go under it you will be stuck for the rest of your life
-the combat sistem sucks
-little to no comunity
-not worth 4 Euro at all for the content it gives
-you can't play matchmaking because of the lack of players
-Unbalanced gameplay

Pro:-The little comunity is preety warm and will teach you the esentials
-i had fun in the first match when i played with a good in my team but when it was 1 good player vs 3 new ones it really sucked
-you can have fun on it if your friends have as much skill as you do

My opinion? don't buy it unless is maximum 2.50 Euro or even less

This game has alot of potential, the main menu is great. The developers look like they care and want to fix bugs unlike most developers now-adays I'd Say this game was a good pickup!

its too dead so please put some more ads and such out there it has overwhelming potential but you need players or intoduce ai so atleast we can play the game with some success

This game is absolutely amazing . It's worth every cent you'll spend on it . In the current state of the game the community is small but everyone is very helpful towards new players . When i first joined there was a pop-up that told me to join the discord server and i immediately found a couple guys that wanted to show me how the game works and we had tons of fun . I played a few 5v5's last night and this game is just amazing . 100% buy this game you will definitely get your money out of it .

So far game seems pretty fun. Feels like i have played the game for ages and everything seems familiar, thanks to some things this game shares with more popular games, it's like if Rust, Minecraft(walls minigame), and Totally accurate battlegrounds were combined.

So far really enjoying the game, needs more players, because by now most of the players are from US and if you like in EU like me, you have to wait till evening to find someone to play with/against.

Tons of promise. Essentially what Early Acces was intended for. Core gameplay loop is there, and if you're a fan of rust raiding it scratches the itch nicely. The dev jumps into Discord often, listens to us complain, and makes changes. Definitely pick it up - would be great to have new players!

So what exactly is The Wall?
The Wall is a strategic FPS where every move counts. It currently has 2 gamemodes and a few maps.
The gamemode that this game focuses on is "Generator." In this gamemode you have to build a base and protect it at all costs. You have unlimited respawns, but dying has consequences. If you die you will lose some of your resources. Resources play a huge role in this game. With resources, you build walls, upgrade generators, and buy weapons and other supplies that will help you along the way. There are 3 tiers of weapons, each being better than the last. To buy these tiers you must upgrade your main generator (The one you must protect). Your goal is to destroy the other team's generator. With a maximum of 5 people per team, this game requires lots of teamwork to succeed, whether that be defending, attacking, or building up your base.

The other gamemode is TDM which is pretty standard across other FPS games. You can still build and you still need to utilize resources.

Back onto the game itself, the community is very active and the developer interacts with the community a lot. All bugs are resolved fairly quickly.

Overall I would rate this game a 9/10. The game has a lot of potential and currently, it seems that the developer is expanding the game to its full potential. Being that it is an Early Access title, there are some bugs but they are mostly just quality of life. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game to any of you that enjoy strategic FPS-esque games.
