There is a problem in 11th level so dont play this game its broken and its so bad, you can't get 3 achievements...
Warning: Asset Flip!
Eared Hero is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Vyacheslav Shilikhin, took the basic platformer template from Construct 2, slapped a couple of asset flipped sprites on it, and dumped the results onto Steam as a cash grab scam.
Vyacheslav Shilikhin has shown a repeated pattern of ripping off construction kit templates and dumping them on Steam.
Don't believe me? Here's some other asset flips from exactly the same template, all shamelessly dumped on Steam as nasty cash grabs:
- "1000 Needles", copy + pasted from the same template by LTZInc
- "Battle Cube", copy + pasted from the same template by LTZInc
- "Caveman Alive", copy + pasted from the same template by Vyacheslav Shilikhin
- "Crazy Scientist", copy + pasted from the same template by Droid Riot
- "Forest Guardian", copy + pasted from the same template by OnBlind
- "Goat Life", copy + pasted from the same template by Vyacheslav Shilikhin
- "Happy Halloween", copy + pasted from the same template by HandMade Games
- "Lucky Panda", copy + pasted from the same template by OnBlind
- "Mountain Troll", copy + pasted from the same template by IndieLip
- "Piggy Poggy Pog", copy + pasted from the same template by TSS Studio
- "Queen of Honor", copy + pasted from the same template by Big Black Bear
- "Trick or Treat", copy + pasted from the same template by HandMade Games
- "Underwater World", copy + pasted from the same template by HandMade Games
- "Unstoppable Hamster", copy + pasted from the same template by IndieLip
- "Virus ON", copy + pasted from the same template by NL Studio
[*] "Wild Adventures", copy + pasted from the same template by LTZInc
Look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game!
This unethical behaviour should be no surprise, as Vyacheslav Shilikhin/Droid Riot are known asset flippers who've previously taken the work of real developers, changed the name and put their own name on it, so they can sell it on Steam and try to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's work. An example of Vyacheslav doing this through his Droid Riot sockpuppet account is Fox and Bunny, which is really "Sunny Land", written by the actual developers, Ansimuz. Also, Primitive Shooter, which is really "Create a Game Source code", developed by Sebastian Lague.
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Eared Hero" is just a very old, very basic Construct 2 template for a simple, badly made platformer that's been reskinned lazily, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who create genuine, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have. They make it harder for gamers to find genuine games made by honest developers.
To cement the position of this asset flip as nothing but a cash grab, it was dumped onto cheap DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles very shortly after launch. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Vyacheslav Shilikhin.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear almost immediately after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation.
Pretty, solid game it's pretty skilled-based (not for noobs, I am pro i cometh to lvl 5) highly recommend.
bugged achivements, unfortunately if youre a perfectionist, dont buy.
Eared Hero
Read before buying
Overall trash and annoying to play.
3 Broken Achievements. Level 11 is like a booby trap. You can't finish it because of a missing platform.
Don't pay for this game, or even try to play it if you're looking for a 100% game.
Money grab from a developer who does not care to fix his game problems.
Title Screen is horrendous.
No Save option - data gets deleted when you exit game.
Controls especially jumping is awful.
Trading Cards does not exist even though it says they do.
Trash game as they said it on broken level 3 achievements.
Honestly as a player who goes for achievements, I'm really disappointed. There's two achievements that aren't possible to get from my knowledge and this game will forever be incomplete. If I ever manage to completely finish my other games achievement wise I'll still never be 100%. Wouldn't waste the time playing this game as the dev's didn't wanna waste time making it good. If the game ever fixes the achievements I'll probably consider giving it a real honest review, but for now I can't.
Hey and hello,
this review is about the jump and run game Eared Hero.
Don't buy this game if you want 100% Achievements
First I want to warn you, that if you want to reach 100% Achievements you should not buy this game. Some achievements are not possible to get, even after multiple trys and starting from the beginning again.
Overall game experience
Looking at the actuall gameplay, it is frustrating that the game is just not possible to complete because of impossible jumps and the overall game experiende is not that good as well.
So if you want buy it do so, but I warned you. I think for that few levels and the allways similar levelstyles, it is not worth it.
Score: 0/100
This isn't even a finished game. You can't actually beat Level 11 or 12, so you can't even finish it. This feels like someone got most of the way done with their first Unity tutorial and then charged people to play it. Don't pay money for this; it's actual garbage. Painstakingly simplistic game and level design, okay programming, hardly any animations at all (and all the assets look like basic clip art) and there's no music (despite what the trailer suggests), sound effects, or bonuses. Not even worth playing for free.
Help the little bunny find their carrots in this wonderful adventure. Aside from 3 broken achievements it is a fun little game to play and I do reccommend it for passing the time or if you want a challenge.
Terrible platformer with nothing enjoyable about it, some levels are nearly impossible to complete and are generally unplayable. Placeholders and huge hitboxes, the game screams unfinished mess. Charging for something like this should be a crime.
broken 3 achievements, broken one level, can't pass further, broken game, developer doesn't care, broken also ALL rest of his games and developer still doesn't care... so giving to this negative review, because this game is abandoned by developer, avoid it, no matter what you search for in it!
This game is actual garbage.
I don't usually write angry reviews - as someone who's played a lot of crappy browser games in my time, I have a pretty high tolerance for bad games.
But this game ACTUALLY managed to piss me off.
Music: 0/10
> this game doesn't even have music That song that plays in the video on the store page? Yup, it's not even in the game.
Sound: 0/10
> this game doesn't have any sound effects, either
Developer Credibility: 0/10
> I picked it up because I had a 65% off coupon and saw it was tagged as having Trading Cards.
> There are NO trading cards.
Content: 1/10
> Those screenshots on the store page? Yeah, that's literally all there is to the game. Each level is only the size of a single screen. You grab carrots to unlock the exit to the next level. There are 12 levels in all, but level 12 is apparently inaccessible because level 11 is impossible to beat.
> This game has a level select, but exiting the game will wipe all of your progress and re-lock any levels you've previously beaten, thus making a level select utterly pointless.
Gameplay: 2/10
> I'll admit, i'm not a huge fan of platformers, but this is one of the worst ones I've ever played. And I once went on Newgrounds and intentionally looked up all the worst platformers so I could laugh at how bad they were.
> The only reason I'm not giving it a lower rating is because it's playable in the sense that It didn't crash on start or seize up while I was playing it.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this game even if it was FREE - it's just THAT bad.
Truly the best game on steam. Come play this game about love and loss, and carrots. This game is perfect, it cured my cancer and was the first game I've ever played to make me cry. Buy this game if you want to experience true happiness.
>No trading cards (that's a lie)
>Bugged achivements
>Impossible to pass level
If you have coupon for a discount like me (who would like to buy this for a regular price xD) don't buy this.
Crappy bugged game, developer doesn't care so i do not care about this crap.
Do not buy ANYTHING produced by this developer Vyacheslav Shilikhin.
Game and Also achievements are broken.
Change Job Vyacheslav Shilikhin

Don't get this **** even if you can get it for free. Also trading cards don't exist even if it says so.
Eared Hero is a simple and short game. In this platformer you will have to collect carrots and make one difficult jump on the penultimate level. There are traps to jump over and bees and earwigs (the natural enemies of the rabbit) which you can either jump over or wait until they move out of the way.
Key Features:
11 levels of almost identical difficulty (very little) and one hard level
3 broken achievements (I managed to get one of these to unlock by playing the game on a different computer)
No trading cards
EVERY game with achievements which i have played from this developer are impossible to 100%!
Because of he obviously doesn't care of the forums or reviews, just flag all of its games. However he is active and in contact with steam as he offers many coupons for the games.Anyway - perhaps flagging changes his mind.
When everything is fixed, i will delete this.
Nice lil platforming, but controls get horrible sometimes. Definetely would be better is you could use a controller istead of keyboard. The most annoying thing is that you can't change the keys to WASD and you have to use arrow keys which I haven't used in years. Levels are really pretty and you have to come up with a strategy to beat each one of them. It can get a little complicated to pass but it's due to ridiculous controls, not because the game is unbearable hard.
