i can recomend this game... or i could recomend just using beepbox as it has more depth and is free, has more pages a finer selection of sounds.

This Windows game work perfectly for me in Steam Linux, via Steam Play. I Use linux Lubuntu with the Nvidia drivers. In Steam i use the compatibility tool proton 3.7-8. The game start via Steam Play and it work perfectly just like in windows.
Few effects and sounds, a lot of limitations...
UI is cool tho, it's not practical at all.

easy to use and good for learning how to make a beat or something
Perfect for novice beat makers that are interested in making music!
In this game you can make your own beat and I loved making dubstep I recomend it and I think i should be at least 2$
nice for making simplistic songs, sounds decent.

StepX is very nice, I love how simple it is and it's fun to use but when I try to save a little song I make and try and load it up again to advance Kanye West on the rap charts the program freaks out and plays my music like it's a video game running at a bad frame rate and it completely messes with the sound by cutting some of the sound clips in half and making my cute little piano diddy sound bad and shiddy. I have only messed about with it at the moment but I would love to keep making dumb rap beats and cute keyboard songs but if it's going to make my tunes sound like garbage after saving I'm leaving a bad review. I hope this probem gets fixed soon and I can't wait untill it does
while being very simple, you can actually make some sweet music with this.
fun but very basic ... ther is not a lot of instrument, you can only do short music, ther is not many option and tuning but, after all I enjoy it . I would recommend this game
