Graphics looks OK and 10.26GB size seems promising. Tried to give it a chance, but crashed every single minute! Done a lot of adjustments without luck to proceed. Can't recommend to anyone, refunding now.
All of this game’s major issues, in no particular order:
[list=]
I don't like reviewing games I haven't actually beaten, but after powering through four or five gruelling levels over the course of 90 minutes, I could no longer continue due to a locked door without a trigger to open it. I was able to glitch my way out of the map and walk to the end where a stage transition occurred, however I fell through the world instantly. I tried quicksaving and reloading to try and get around this, but it just ended up hardlocking my game, and I'm sure as shit not playing through the whole thing again. I’m honestly surprised I was able to play for so long without encountering a game-breaking bug like this.
I’m also suspicious this game contains some kind of malware as alt-tabbing the program while open revealed a mysterious Linux button in the file explorer. It may have been unrelated, but I’m not entirely sure.
Overall, this game actually felt like it was draining my life-force.
INFERNUSSY UNEXPECTEDLY PRETTY RAD
Admire the atmosphere you joos created. So hot.
The Hell is a beautiful place, as it's people, but I think your visit when the time comes will be exactly like this, only without any ak lol.
The music is also very nice. Thx
I did a mini review on my YouTube channel in my video "Beasts&Chests, & Infernales Review, More Cheap £££ FPS Games On Steam" Check it out if a video review is more your speed :)

like listning to Reign in blood- Slayer, if it was a video game. Lots of fun destroyin the hellspawn. handles well, graphics are pretty hellish (see what i did there). jam some jams and take a stroll.
it looks and feels pretty damn great, but personally it makes me a little dizzy and sick. i rould reccomend it to a friend that likes doom but has a stronger stomach for motion sickness and vertigo.
It feels like serious sam: run, gun, dodge, open areas, weapon pickups laying about. But without any meaningful level design or enemy encounters along with simple AI it feels a bit empty and unsatisfying, numbing any enjoyment you might get from a possible challenge that might arise. The enemies look great and fit the setting but can have very dumb AI - they won't bother to go looking for you if you've gotten behind them and they can't see you. The world still manages to give a bland feeling despite the good looking models and enemies adherent to the hellish theme. Level design feels primitive and choppy, almost like someone who's just trying out a new level editting software. But it's hell, what exactly is it supposed to look like? There are lots of invisible walls and unpolished clipping though this is mostly on the outskirts of the main route where you aren't intended to travel. But then there's also the problem of the confusing layout and not really guiding the player to where they need to go to next. The single color palette becomes a tiresome eyesore.
No rebindable controls or mouse sensitivity option. Can't use mousewheel to scroll through weapons (use 1,2,3)
Some buggy Aim down sights. Crouch toggle with C. Also features sprint and bullet time mechanic.
Overall, it works, looks decent, has pretty good music, and doesn't crash. And it's probably a bit more fun than merely watching a let's play.
But I was hoping for a more full and satisfying experience built upon the great graphics of the engine and what, IMO, is an interesting premise. If this had better/fixed AI, better level design (something meaningful and not just plop down a bunch of models here and there) or a cheaper price, maybe it'd be worth it. Just not enough there for a thumbs up.
What a terrible game, with so many bugs it's amazing the developers have the front to release it in this state. So many impassable/invisible barriers, cheap deaths and poor execution of everything this game is unplayable. Even in the sale it's not worth the price or the time.
I think most people are missing the point about this game, you're in hell. People are complaining about hit registery like the guns barely work, that's how it would be in hell! ever had one of those dreams where you were in a fight and couldn't muster any strength at all behind your punches as if you were underwater or something? I like the game, if it had precision point and click shooting it would be boring, i find this game actually scary, the sounds and visuals and stuff are great, i got this game plus the sequal for less than 2 bucks in a bundle while on sale, so that's awesome, i am gonna try to play more of them when i have the time, you need to be brave to play this game, it is one of the actual scariest i've ever played, the atmosphere is scary, there are jumpscares, it's actually quite brilliant.
what *is* infernales? first, let's talk about what it's *not*; it is not a high-budget, triple A FPS game made by id Software, 4A Games, or even Raven Software. rather, it's a low-rent ukrainian doom made solely by one guy. that's right, one guy. you can tell he grew up with playing doom and various homemade mods for it. and you know what? that's perfectly fine, because it works for what it is.
any story context you need is given to you right off the bat as soon as you start the game: you're some poor soul who accidentally got sent to hell because someone standing watch at the gates of heaven was asleep or on a lunch break (no, i'm not kidding, this is the actual plotline of the game). since you got shafted, you gotta fight your way through hell and massacre some odd one billion demons in order to prove your worth for entering the afterlife - all because some moron was slacking off on the job. this is probably the whackiest reason for getting sent to hell, but it adds to the game's charm, and it totally sounds like something someone would whip up for a barebones story included in the text file for a doom .wad mod.
how does the actual game handle for a low budget FPS made by one person? it's acceptable. the gunplay feels decent enough, the visuals are good for an one-man UE4 title, and there's plenty of baddies to shoot - but there's a catch: if you press caps lock, you get infinite bullet time. that's right, *infinite* bullet time. there's no meter or timer telling you how much time you have left until you have to recharge - you can stay in bullet time as long as you wish. the game takes almost entirely on a new context because of this: you can pretend you're max payne, who got sent to hell for whatever reason, or you can pretend you're neo from the matrix whilist tripping balls and witnessing a massive malfunction in the matrix's simulation program. why? the game has no plot to speak of, so it becomes fun to add your own interpretations of who you actually are.
since this game is inspired by doom, it carries its gameplay and level design tenets with it. this means a lot of enemies, potential backtracking on certain maps, and being able to move around at superhuman speeds. if you can play this game through the lens that you're playing some person's doom .wad pack that they made during college that's a blast to play through, you'll have fun. if you can't, then i can't say that this game is for you.
i have one more thing to add: i don't care for the game's soundtrack at all, BUT, if you listen to the max payne 3 soundtrack while you play this, it adds a ton to the game - perhaps by virture of the fact that it includes bullet time. imagine yourself blasting "tears" by HEALTH while you mow down undead skeletons charging at you with your shooter in slow-mo. for the price of a fancy sandwich and a cup of coffee, you could do a lot worse.
Absolute Garbage! Too many cons to list. Don’t buy
I will say this, for the discounted price I brought the game for (1.49) I won't be asking for a refund, but the game is a mess.
It really is a nice homage to old school arcade shooters like Serious Sam, DOOM or Duke Nukem, but during the game you are left with the feeling that you would rather be playing those instead.
If you have 5.99 to spend on a game just buy the First or Second incarnation of Serious Sam, same type of game, much better for this price range. (Under 10).
Also the music is annoyingly loud and its not even possible to mute it completely. There are bugs with the armor going into the negatives and also while reloading, if you press shoot before the animation finishes you just waste ammo.
Invisible walls are also bullshit.
I was playing Infernales and thought why not record some and see if i can use the footage to share it with you all.
( as far as i know the in-game music is copyrighted so i did it like this )
Please let me know what You think of the video or the game.
Do You want to see more of the game then please let me know aswell. ( a let's play or another music clip of the next part )

Go to Hell...
Infernales has recently been updated, and with it comes improvements to both its aiming / combat and UI.
Infernales captures the raw appeal of early FPS titles such as DOOM (most notably) and the Serious Sam franchise (in tempo / number of enemies...) both in its hellish setting, red visuals, and unrelenting pace. The game is accentuated by a thumping, droning electronic soundtrack which adds to the effect of fleeing from large swarms of enemies to take them out.
I have had a difficult time knowing "where to go" or where weapons are, and I am getting a bit sick of the at-times seemingly-ineffective shotgun... but for all of its designs as being a straightforward, intense shooter with hellish visuals and fast action this game delivers. It would be nice to see more powerups of some kind (ala the orbs of old Doom or the tomes of Heretic...) and some of the effects when enemies die could be more complex (i.e. you see a lot of the same blood spurt from each...)
The game also has some collision / exploration issues, which can lead to the player getting stuck in the terrain and forcing a reload, or awkwardly bouncing off of an object (such as a bush that you thought you had gone around only to have to shimmy yourself loose) but what is here is varied overall and the Hellish vistas you are in look impressive, with varied settings ranging from smokey forests, desolate wastelands, cliffsides with lava, and strange meat fortresses while the enemies range from minotaurs, snake women, and skeletons, to floating skulls and cerebuseseses.
The game does what it puts forth well and the developer seems receptive to feedback in its early state. I'm glad I bought this game and gave it another go as of late. If you do buy Infernales just know that its aiming, frequency of hits to non-hits, and reloading animations can feel a bit "off" or inaccurate at first, though this may only be due to that I havent come across any of the other guns in its somewhat ambiguous / unstated overall mission structure.
You can wander too far off the beaten path in Infernales, into the terrain and clipping through a fair amount of rocksides or even get lodged into some areas of the map with no way of getting out, forcing a reload. To what end you would explore much, I'm not sure, as the game seems to just be scrambling around evading the enemies while exploring the various locales, if nothing more than to just see what large enemy or impressive-looking horizon is next.
There seems to be no "Quest or Mission" indicator, which I don't mind since old school FPS were more or less "find the exit" but Infernales could be scattered with a few more powerups or UI indicators of where the player is meant to go to make it feel a little more accessible. I eventually found a stage end boss on a couple separate levels, which looked good but were somewhat boring fights, consisting of mostly just backpedaling while firing, sprinting ahead and reloading before facing them to do the same thing repeatedly.
Once you do get used to the game's mechanics (including what seems to be requiring the player to press R to reload, which is either a unique / hardcore mechanic for an FPS or an annoying hindrance -I think it adds to the tension of the incoming swarm of enemies) it is easier to dispatch of the enemies. The game includes an Aim Down Sights, which seems to not make much difference when damaging enemies.
Infernales gameplay is a bit similar to other independently-developed FPS titles on Steam as of late, in that it is more or less a throng of enemies which constantly swarm you that you have to fend off. That being said, though, Infernales large, open levels allow for kiting the throng around in a fashion more similar to Doom or Serious Sam when compared to other titles taking place in cramped, restrictive rooms. Infernales also includes aggro zones, so you can hold off on (or go around) enemies.
I tried to use an Xbox One USB controller with Infernales, but only the analog sticks were responsive, with RT being mapped to fire. Unfortunately, it didn't appear that sprint or reload buttons had been mapped yet. That being said, its sparse keyboard controls are spot-on.
All in all I'm glad I bought Infernales and I want to play more, as it provides a cool and unique depiction of Hell, I just hope there is a "way out" or something to do beyond scrambling around and blasting enemies while hoping to stay alive, as accurate of a depiction as that may be...
Amazing!
Gameplay 9\10
Graphic 8\10
Atmosphere 10\10
Music 10\10
Keep doing what you do!
A little wanky hit boxes and you will not know here to go alot but an very fun game with a awesome fighting style
Here is a complete playthrough of Infernales if you are stuck anywhere.

The game it'self was pretty fun, lots of fire and lava!
Some crazy monsters that are pretty creative.
My biggest gripe with it's current state is the lack of audio sliders to remove music, my playthrough video was actually stuck with like 7 copyrights because of it also....
I'd fix the audio ASAP and then start working on the invisible walls the monsters get stuck behind, and then start sealing of the map better making it MORE linear so people aren't just falling through the game world lost and just quitting.
