What Remains of Edith Finch и The Unfinished Swan. Это результат шести лет самостоятельной разработки, многих десятков поглощенных пончиков (чисто в исследовательских целях) и одной судьбоносной встречи с енотом.

It’s an enjoyable game with a nice art style and a fun story. However, I might only recommend it if you’re a trophy hunter or if it has a discount available. You can 100% it in two hours or less, so it really depends on what you are looking for.
I bought this game during a spring sale and 100%ed it quickly. It's worth the price. Very fun game, the writing is really good and the gameplay is nice too. Only issue is its a bit short but its fine
This is a very short and cute game. You know those annoying mobile game ads of the hole that swallows things up and gets bigger? This is what that promises without the ads and micro-transactions.
If you want something chill, this does that.
such a cute game honestly, it was fun getting all the achievements!
So, you're a raccoon with an ability to control a hole. That's right! You control a not-so-bottomless pit and start swallowing everything: trash, animals, cars, buildings... even your friends. Total chaos. The game's main message? "Be a hole." Inspirational. Never thought I'd emotionally connect with being a hole, but here we are. 10/10, would ruin a town again xD.
This game is cute and enjoyable, I loved it. Wish it had more levels.
Very fun and amusing little cozy game. Only wish it went on a little longer. Still worth the money if it's on sale though.
I personally think this game is really, REALLY weird and I don't understand or care about the storyline in the least; however, it's a fun game for my 5-year-old to play since all you have to do is move a mouse around and stuff falls into a hole. He calls it "Donut Counting."
I can't recommend this game enough. It's so simple yet somehow implements neat mini-puzzles into its levels.
Extremely cute little game, has some of the dumbest yet greatest dialogue in any game
I love donuts
I simple cozy game. The puzzles are kind of physics based. I'd recommend it for kids, maybe 8-12 yrs. The story was mildly entertaining and written with humor. I finished the game in just under 2 hrs and won't replay for the achievements.
Haven't laughed and smiled from a game so much in awhile. This game is adorable
it's a really cute fun game to be honest. actually it really is a calming game. to have a calming and serialized game is crazy. anyways donut county my beloved and whatnot. also thats all i got for this review atm
Interesting concept that isn't too drawn out. But it could have tried to experiment with it some more.
Nice to look at and to listen to but a bit too short. Best to get it on discount
This game is extremely weird and cute. The soundtrack, the derpy graphics, the weird characters, just amazing. My only little complain was I wish it was longer. If you love Katamari Damacy, it's a bit like the reverse version of that. Very fun, very silly. Thanks for the great game guys! One of my favorites in a while. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Very worth the buy.
Lighthearted game. Any "puzzles" it has are pretty simple, and my kids (all <7 years old) enjoy playing it and can beat the whole game. They always have fun with it. The only issue they have is the final boss, which just requires enough mildly precise inputs in a row, and losing resets the fight, that they know how to beat it but can't execute it themselves just yet. They still have a great time, and I'd recommend for young kids.
Love the style, the story and the game play. Just overall a fun game.
Very charming little gaming. Picked this up when it was on sale, (I'd recommend doing the same) very short but absolutely love the writing and the gameplay is great!
Donut County definitely has a casual vibe. The character interaction is humorous and enjoyable. The game play was fun and afforded some thought and how to accomplish levels. As a rather inexperienced player, I enjoied the opportunity to get some breaks on the harder levels if needed. While rather short, I still recommend this game.
Honestly just boring.
Firstly too much dialogue and not enough eating people.
Secondly the dialogue was mostly just uninteresting.
One moment where everyone laughs at the homeless guy was kinda funny though.
Hole.io mechanics but as a story driven puzzle game. Pretty decent, easy to 100%
Short but sweet and charming, reminds me of Katamari Damacy in terms of art style and game play. It has a fun sense of humor. I'd support a longer sequel with more complex puzzles
Short and simple, but incredibly entertaining. This game knew exactly what it wanted to be and ran with it. Sometimes the physics get a little wonky, and there are some levels I felt were too easy, but when there are moments where you just park your hole in the middle of the road and watch as a huge traffic jam of cars drives straight into it, there's no way I can be mad about the shortcomings. Pick this one up if you catch it on sale.
donut county was a super cute game and id highly recommend it to any fans of cozy games! if youve ever seen those ads for games where youre a hole and you go around “eating” stuff to get bigger, thats basically donut county. however, donut county actually has a story to it!
the majority of the story is told from below donut county. the vast majority of the county is in a pit below donut county. theres a varied cast of animal critters (plus mira the human) that detail what led up to them falling into the pit. pretty much everything is bk the raccoon’s fault, as hes just been absorbing donut county into the pit. because as raccoons do, he enjoys trash and chaos.
i will say, theres a few really minor issues that dont impact the gameplay all that much. when you control the hole, its size is a bit misleading. due to the camera angle, the hole often looks smaller than it actually is, so you may underestimate what you can actually pick up. but you can easily figure that out by just wiggling around to pick up stuff. another issue is that some objects dont easily fit into the hole. the really big items, like rocks and buildings often get stuck and you have to aggressively wiggle to force them in. the hole also lags behind your cursor a little bit, which isnt too noticeable or impactful until the boss fight at the end of the game when you have to dodge projectiles. the only other issue i encountered was on the chicken barn after unlocking the catapult. the level didnt progress after breaking the necessary box, but a quick level reset fixed the issue.
overall, i really enjoyed playing donut county and getting all the achievements. donut county is a great cozy game and the boss fight isnt too difficult and its very generous in terms of your health. i will say $13 USD is a bit pricey for the relatively simple gameplay that donut county offers, but its great to snag while on sale.
A cute and quick little experience where you play as a dastardly raccoon and destroy a town. Took a little under six hours to 100% the game and while I did enjoy it I'd ultimately recommend waiting for a good sale before you buy.
Enjoyable for one very short playthrough, but there is not much going on in this game.
The gameplay loop is very simple, the puzzle elements don't require much thinking and the humor was, for the most part... not for me.
Consider buying at a discount.
It is a fun relaxing game to play through enjoy, and easy 100% achievements
11/10
w game. real nice simple game to throw on and relax to. become hole. eat everyone home. fun game. buy when on sale.
the best way i can describe this one is "adorable". it's really short, but out of every game i've ever played, this is the one i can most tell was made with love. there's not really a way a game like this can be "hard", but the gimmicks put in each level are fresh and clever and somehow, putting stuff in a hole didn't get old. definitely worth a shot :)
Was ok. Observed this game in some videos previously and from time to time was popped in my Steam List. Now that I saw it on sale I decided to buy it and give it a go.
The whole game is a basic idea in which you control a donut hole, and absorb everything through it. The more absorb the bigger it gets. It starts very simple and then it becomes more interesting and more interactive. Later you have to interact with some objects in the game to activate devices that allow your hole to become bigger. Unfortunately when things become interesting in term of gameplay that's when the game also ends.
Was hoping for more interactions and more complex puzzles.
It's a small game. Finished in just about 2 hours. 30 more minutes to 100% all the achievments.
Buy it on sale. The standard asking price is too steep.
The game can also be played on Mobile Phones by purchasing it from the subsequent store. It feels and plays like a mobile game.
Many may say that this game should have been free.
So. It IS fun. It IS good. It IS pretty easy to beat the game in 77 minutes flat. I snagged it on sale and don't feel like I wasted my money, but if I had paid more I think I would have.
I enjoyed this. Quite relaxing, but a little short. Some of the minor puzzles were interesting but not very taxing.
Took 2 hours to complete, and the story was a little bit tedious so I skipped a lot of it.
Got this when it was on sale at 70% off. I would have been very disappointed if I had paid the full price.
Really good and cute puzzle game. It is truly a great game but buy it on sale as it isn’t very long and doesn’t really have reply value. Thoroughly enjoyed this and played wonderfully on the Steam Deck as-well! 🦝 🍩
pretty fun! very cute character design and a great soundtrack as well. would highly recommend.... if on sale. it's a really neat game but i 100% it within 3 hours. $12 dollars is pushing it a little lol
Donut County is a marvelously cute ‘puzzle’ game with lovable characters, adorable art, funny dialogue and just the right amount of extra goodies to satisfy a nice afternoon or evening play sesh.
This is not my first rodeo with Donut County. I originally played this on mobile(!), one of the only mobile games I’ve ever bought, during Thanksgiving weekend back in 2018. At that time, I was back in the states, after the longest period I had ever been away from my family. It was an unexpected trip back home because my grandpa, who had been deteriorating with dementia for some years, passed away early in the week. I don’t really know why I felt so compelled to take time off work and go back home for such a brief time, especially when a longer New Year’s holiday was just around the corner. I guess I felt being at the funeral was an important part of closure, particularly when you lose someone with dementia, who you kind of have to say ‘goodbye’ to twice.
Anyway, it was a lot of money for such a short trip, a brutal jet lag battle, and troublesome with work. The holiday and weekend was filled with tears and difficulties, but during that final evening, family sat around the living room with the pets, some chatting, some watching movies, some playing board games, I just felt so at peace. I felt so serene there. And as silly as it seems to say, Donut County was a part of that.
Traveling back home on short notice and for such a short time meant no games, obviously an important part of my life, and I don’t own a laptop. I bought Donut County because I didn’t need internet to play, and it looked ‘wholesome’. I played it that night between watching movies and chatting with family, and just felt so right in those hours.
At this time in my life I was still branching out into indie games and less AAA titles, and I was reeled in by the similarities to Katamari games, one of a limited series of games I had engaged in that was different, so I had to take a chance. Despite Donut County I think being a little better on mobile (and I believe cheaper!), this is still a great buy on Steam.
It’s got a good progression, where levels generally lengthen and get a little more puzzle-oriented as time goes on, and the pacing is great, where each dialogue session doesn’t overstay its welcome, and also sets the context for the level and items.
I think the game would’ve been a little more satisfying if whole levels were viewable rather than partitioned, and players just simply had to ‘explore’ a little more for what they could pick up, a la Katamari, or at the very least thematically limited.
The story doesn’t make much sense, specifically in that after swallowing a billion things, nothing crashes down on top of the characters, except for the few other characters they’re trying to chat with lol, but that’s not really a bad criticism. No suspension of disbelief is required for a silly little tale like this one.
That said, there’s some cute fable-esque (the children’s story, not the game) storytelling here, about friendship, forgiveness, and trust that is well done. There’s a level selector, a cute interactive credits area, and lots of small curiosities to satisfy.
Overall, there’s a great game here, and lots to enjoy, even if it is miniature by games industry standards. I highly recommend this one, on mobile especially and even on Steam! Almost nothing to complain about!
9/10
Pretty good game. I would recommend this to people, however I would tell them to only buy it during a sale.
In the game, you are controlling a hole, that starts small and by eating more things, the bigger you get. However, much of the gameplay is dragged out by unskippable dialogue and the game is pretty short.
I had fun playing it but I recommend buying it for 10$, not 20.
Katamari Damacy Lo-Fi Chill Beats to Study and Make Donuts To.
Seriously though, this game rocks and hits that satisfying itch in a more low down, chill setting with an Adventure Time-type story and humor with real clever gimmicks to make each level have its own identity. There isn’t a single ‘bad’ thing I can think of on this game, it’s solid through and through with a great list of achievements. Well, I can think of one bad thing. I really wish there was more of it I could play!
Cute game, the dialogue is hilarious and the story is great. Art design and music is also superb, heavily recommend it considering the great price

My Comment on This Game:
A bit short but still a great game! It has an interesting story. I beat the game within 2 hours, a bit pricey for the gameplay, but still pretty fun!
It's cute, the text is hilarious! Read the trashopedia for real!!
But after one playthrough (which took almost no time) I definitely can't see going back to it.
Love the witty, cheeky writing in this game. Great short game to play over the weekend. Would love to see more like this - mayhaps a sequel?
This game is under the false impression that everyone will be interested in reading the freaking story. It needed to have at least the option pick levels from a numbered grid.
try finger, but hole
A couple of hours of mindless fun that'll make you chuckle from time to time, solid 7/10. Just know that you're getting 6-7 hours of gameplay at most, so might be best to hold out for a sale if you're wanting to play Donut County.
Cute little game for cute little things. Has its humor and loveable characters. Sad to see it go so fast but if you wanna waste two hours and also get achievements, this is great for that!
- Waste in a good way... Trash... Cause... Raccoon... Raccoon likes... Waste... OKI BYE.
chill puzzle game with funny dialogue & achievements are pretty easy to get for those who like to perfect games!!
silly, short lil game. cute art style and all. cant go wrong with this goofiness
The game is very repetitive and the dialogue is cringy and takes up most of the game.
Annoying and deeply unfunny. The cut-scenes go on for far too long and don't make a bit of difference. I regret buying this so much.
a fun, if short, physics game. it's got a funny and well-written story, the environments look really pretty, and some of the mechanics are surprisingly intricate.
beating the story once only takes about 1.5 hours, but there's a handful of achievements to get if you want more. the game doesn't overstay its welcome, but isn't so short that it leaves you wanting more either. definitely worth to get on sale, and worth getting at full price if you don't mind the length.
also mira is cute :3
