The gameplay is hilarious, especially in co-op, as it’s intentionally difficult and delightfully wonky.

Funny physics game. All around a pleasant, charming, enjoyable game. You may get frustrated with the controls, because of the imprecise controls, but that's the whole gimmick of the game. Buy this on sale and play it! It's funny and whacky! This octopus is the master of disguise. Fuck outta here Dana Carvey.

This game could be easily one of my favorites, if not my favorite indie game ever.
Back when I was a child, I used to watch gameplays of this game and always wanted to try it.
Well, after more than a decade of waiting, I finally played and finished it 100%, and yeah, child me was right; this game rocks.

I don't know what everyone else is talking about. I played as a fully normal man. He did everyday things. That chef was insane and blind. What octo-thing was he talking about? Still a good game. 10/10.

Short, sweet, and charming, Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a good game to sit down and play with. The story is simple and short, being 3 hours at the most. The gameplay is just you doing relatively tasks as a very normal human, but the controls are hard and you're very floppy for some reason.

The game is made to be played repeatedly, especially for achievement hunters. So try to do some things differently in your next playthroughs as the game has a little bit of replayability.

Fun little short game, not my type of game with those annoying controls, but the story was nice and funny.
what annoyed me is that your limbs sometimes get stuck in objects...

A very short (story takes an hour or two to complete) but fun, weird and weirdly heartfelt and charming story about an octopus pretending to be a human,a normal human man that is a very real father. My only complaint is I wish the main story was longer, as it feels like it ended as quickly as it began, but it still is a game that takes up a place in my heart, likely due to the strange heartfelt joy it gives me that I can't really put into words.

It also makes me reminisce on memories from my youth (teenage years) of watching Let’s Players rage and yell their voices dead at this fictional octopus father, I mean human father. 10/10

Initially, I didn't really like, it but it grew on my by the end. The controls are abysmal, and you're likely to struggle through some of the puzzles. However, I understand why, and it shouldn't be take too seriously.

I'm so addicted to this game and have been a huge fan since it came out! The story and gameplay is very fun! (ignoring the Tommy play park thing.) I always accidentally speed run this game and after a day or 2 of long work, I won all the badges! I've never not had fun!

silly game. it can be hard to complete some levels and frustrating but overall a good game. i hope for more soon

It is short but one of my faverite games ever. It is great and I highly reccomend it.

I first played this game with my mother-in-law on PS4 and we were both struggling with the controls while just busting out laughing. You will stumble through the first level or two until you start you get the controls and your tentacle legs under control, the bad controls are part of the charm - being an octopus pretending to be a human and all. This game has it all really. It's unique and charming, funny and challenging, great music and good story. Worth it at full price - a steal if bought on sale.

The campaign is very short, I finished it in about 2 hours but will take a little longer if you go for collectables.
