В этом продолжении оригинальных приключений Осьмипапы наш головоногий герой оказывается в очередной передряге — при растущем недоверии своей супруги он вынужден предпринять исключительно неудачный поход в местный аквариум. Достаточно ли у тебя отцовских качеств, чтобы контролировать титулованного отца-осьминога, пока он пытается скрыть своё морское происхождение от семьи и оставить свои щупальца целыми и невредимыми?
В октябре 2010 года команда студентов выпустила в мир оригинальную версию Octodad. Несмотря на всеобщее убеждение в том, что это всего лишь симулятор обычного человеческого отца, игра стала культовым хитом, получила освещение в прессе и стала финалистом в студенческой категории «Фестиваля Независимых Игр» 2011 (Independent Games Festival). Octodad привлек достаточно внимания, чтобы сподвигнуть команду на кампанию по сбору средств на Kickstarter и формирование студии Young Horses — всё для того, чтобы сделать новую игру про Осьмипапу больше, лучше и наделить должной полировкой. A fun, physics based game that you can beat in a 3h sitting. Nice humor and sillyness.
This is one of the weirdest yet most charming games you'll ever see. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and can be one of the goofiest games of all time.

Still holds up relatively well, short but sweet experience. You’re missing out by not playing it since it’ll take so little time.
A very short (story takes an hour or two to complete) but fun, weird and weirdly heartfelt and charming story about an octopus pretending to be a human,a normal human man that is a very real father. My only complaint is I wish the main story was longer, as it feels like it ended as quickly as it began, but it still is a game that takes up a place in my heart, likely due to the strange heartfelt joy it gives me that I can't really put into words.
It also makes me reminisce on memories from my youth (teenage years) of watching Let’s Players rage and yell their voices dead at this fictional octopus father, I mean human father. 10/10
Initially, I didn't really like, it but it grew on my by the end. The controls are abysmal, and you're likely to struggle through some of the puzzles. However, I understand why, and it shouldn't be take too seriously.
I'm so addicted to this game and have been a huge fan since it came out! The story and gameplay is very fun! (ignoring the Tommy play park thing.) I always accidentally speed run this game and after a day or 2 of long work, I won all the badges! I've never not had fun!

I remember when I was younger watching youtubers play this game like Markiplier and THE FACT THAT IM PLAYING IT RN IS INSANE TO ME
silly game. it can be hard to complete some levels and frustrating but overall a good game. i hope for more soon

It is short but one of my faverite games ever. It is great and I highly reccomend it.
I first played this game with my mother-in-law on PS4 and we were both struggling with the controls while just busting out laughing. You will stumble through the first level or two until you start you get the controls and your tentacle legs under control, the bad controls are part of the charm - being an octopus pretending to be a human and all. This game has it all really. It's unique and charming, funny and challenging, great music and good story. Worth it at full price - a steal if bought on sale.

The campaign is very short, I finished it in about 2 hours but will take a little longer if you go for collectables.

absolute banger of a game
Octodad is a super fun physics game where you have to hide your secret identity from your family. It's a ton of fun trying to manipulate an awkward squid's body through a grocery store. I highly recommend this game to people who enjoy small and humorous games, but this does require a controller to make the game playable.
The controls are hard, but you can get used to them. Generally a good game.

Does Octodad have an octopus dick? Is it like a tentacle or does he just use his arm tentacles in the bedroom? I have a lot of questions but I am too scared to check rule34 for answers.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a physics based adventure with extremely nonstandard controls. Although the game is very slight, its (deliberately) semi-menial levels only lasting a handful of hours, it has a warmhearted silliness that makes Octodad difficult to dislike.

Octopus are pretty smart creature that have the ability to camouflage with their environment. This Octopus is pretending to be a loving husband of a family. This is one of those rage games where the controls are slippery on purpose. Forcing easy mundane tasks for humans into hard challenges for OctoDad. Fumbling your way through life is the name of the game. I would say the only difficult parts would be parkoring sections since Octodad is not really disgen for climbing. There is a lot of charm in this game. Will He keep the illusion up, or will he be the next deadliest catch?! 8/10

The closest I'll be to being in a relationship.
This is a short little game about playing as (and struggling to control) an octopus posing as a person. And it's absolutely delightful! The game puts you in a variety of environments with plenty of different goals and challenges. It doesn't overstay its welcome, it explores its premise and ideas well then ends, which I greatly appreciate. This is really worth playing if you want a silly game to play for a little while!
This game was truly inspiring, it has made me realise I shouldn't hide in the shadow that is society, I shall be confident, and reveal my true self, as a beastiality specialist. Me and my octopus wife are going to be going public in the near future, wish me luck.

ultra boring
Play it with a controller. Nostalgic, funny and weirdly charming. It's kind of short but has a nice gameplay (it's all fun and games until you decide to get all the achievements, that is). Advice for getting all achievements: don't- unless you don't value your sanity like me LOL
