Any co-op mode will disconnect you a minimum of 2 times per round; it is a well-known glitch that has never been patched. Its fun otherwise, if you like broken games.

Solo and Co-op are good fun for the most part. Lots of grind to level up, classes and weapons, that improves how you play as needed with challenge and horde modes. Its a left for dead 2, cousin with a twist. Wish there was more customisation on characters, by default. Mission regions are well made for the most part. Expansions are reasonable in variety and characters.

It is unfortunate but this game crashes too much and I know it is not just me, I cannot get into any maps without an error report every time.
The game is great just buggy.

Dead Multiplayer, Bad A.I who cant do anything. and super repetitive. Not worth it

stuttering and game crashes often when alt tabbing even when playing windowed borderless. buy on sale though

This game is great for a time waster, can be a bit grindy and sometimes dumb AI

Challanging but fun, can be difficult so recommended with friends.
The NPCs sometimes behave weirdly, which could cause some extra challanges for you, but it doesn't make completing a mission impossible

lower the setting, remove aim assists, switch to first person. it becomes a really fun game

I love the gme already. Looked fun so I bought it, Aftermath upgrade and the episode DLCs. Was hoping I could play it and with a bit of lag when things are loading I can. It's great fun bonking zombies with the baseball bat

progress is long and slow... only play during x2 EP events. upgrades cost too much/ game doesnt give enough currancy to progress. also let use know when gun levels up so we can which weapons and lvl another instead of wasting time.

I'm very enjoy this game also it feels like Back 4 Blood and Left 4 dead 2 but in Third Person.

This is a good game that is easy to access when you suddenly want to shoot something.

I've been playing this game since release, first on console then moved to pc and play it even more. This is the best modern L4D style zombies co op game there is to date B4B tried to capture that same thunder but WWZ's constant fun and yearly updates despite being a 5 year old game maintains being fun and overall a blast to constantly play and grind. With ever more ways to play, challenge yourself, and the new content will keep you playing this game for years to come if you like these style of games!

Basically - the improved in a lot of aspects version of the legendary L4D2 game. The graphics is good, the gameplay is fun and challenging, the weapons and perks system is nicely structured, etc. I like the game.

it's not very deep, but plenty wide.
a very simple zombie shooter, unburdened by complex logic. has lots of maps, weapons and skills to grind out.

just like the movie, it essentially has nothing to do with the book.

these bots are f@cking garbage. they just stay in one place sometimes and during hordes do the same thing.
this makes it so if you get downed or pinned, they slowly WALK, not run to you. these bots almost ruin the game and has cost me matches.

Game is gud. Just need more zombies to kill and me happy :)

If you love zombie Survival games,
Then you will really hate the zombies inside this game, they are so fking annoying, but the game is worth it.

Those nice fellas over at Saber have done a great job bringing World War Z to life, it's not every day that developers are able to translate a book/movie into a just as amazing game. You will play through dozens of different environments such as parking decks, tunnels, a cruise ship, and a dam just to name a few. Each episode is well crafted with it's own back story, which allows you to relive the player characters journey through zeke infested lands. The zeke swarms are well done and can really cause a panic the first time you play the game but worry not, you have an impressive arsenal of weapons at your finger tips. There are also several different classes with their own talent trees for you to choose from, you can even switch from class to class between episodes and missions. This game is also solo player friendly on the lower difficulty settings. World War Z is well worth your investment, which keeps the developers investing in the game with regular updates.

Why do I not recommend this game?
1. EULA. Binding arbitration, but they can still sue you (you can't sue them, of course). Also they can shut the game down at any time. And they can change the terms without notifying you. I think most of this is against the law, at least in EU, but IANAL.
2. Many game-breaking bugs that affected me in just a few hours of play. Getting stuck in inaccessible areas, game freezing at the seizure warning screen, crashing etc.
3. It's a grind fest. You have to level each class and each weapon separately, which is fine (Darktide does it too and very successfully, I'd say). However, to actually unlock those levels you have to spend in-game currency and you never have enough. Which still wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that you don't get any more xp until you unlock the current level. So you finish a mission, possibly get enough xp for another level (if you're unlucky and you're missing just a few points the rest is wasted), learn that you're still missing a few coins or whatever the currency is and have to grind more without getting any xp. And you do need to level those weapons because they start without silencers and you just can't play without silencers most of the time.
4. FOMO. In addition to the above, there are daily and weekly challenges which you have to do if you want to get enough currency to unlock levels. The problem is, they are nearly impossible to do for a new player.
5. Awful sound design. When you start to hear the exploding zombie it means it's already right next to you. And you are supposed to shoot it in the legs and then disarm it. Good luck with that. Especially if you get the challenge to disarm 6 of them.
6. TPP, so poor immersion, but you'd expect to have better awareness of your surroundings in exchange. Nope. I have played FPSs in which it's easier to know when you're attacked from behind than in this game (again, because of the sound design). Apparently you can switch to FPP, but... only if you buy a DLC which is more expensive than the game itself.
7. Poor combat mechanics. I won't waste time describing this but let's say it's just not fun.
8. Stupid bots. They shoot you *a lot* and are useless during many of the objectives.
9. Horrible multiplayer. You are 2 minutes late and your friends started a game already? Well, you have to wait until they finish because you can't join mid-game. And then you are behind your friends in the progression, so have fun playing with bots to catch up.
10. Can't pick favourite character. Seriously, why do I have to change the character every time we start a new mission?

To sum up, it feels like it wanted to be a better L4D2, but it's not. It's a shallower experience artificially "enriched" with in-game currencies. If you want a good co-op shooter play L4D2, if you want character progression then B4B is a decent choice, and if you want a very deep game then I recommend Darktide (it's not about zombies, but close).

I love zombie games. Left 4 dead was fun, Zombie army 4 was fun, this game is mid. Very mid. I don't find the game that fun at all. The maps are okay, however, the game feels so repetitive even though it isn't. The horde does not feel intimidating, not threatening, it's just annoying. I do like the stalker zombie, that's probably the only scary part of the game because it hides around corners.

Gun play is fine, the added stealth mechanic adds to the gameplay, but when you make some noise, kill the attacking infected then turn a corner and see a few more zombies just sitting there, kinda breaks immersion.

Left 4 dead handled the horde better than this game, there's a lot of zombies but it doesn't feel like there's a lot. The only way I can feel it is through my frames. And speaking of frames, this game have optimization issues, and the maps take a while to load.

This game is not a bad game, some other people will find this game fun, maybe it's just my preferences when it comes to zombie games because I feel like I'm playing a walking simulator with guns but I don't recommend this one.

The game is too buggy. The devs messed it up when WWZ Aftermath came in

As a Vermintide 2 veteran I really enjoy this game. Good mechanics, repeatable, and lots of guns!
I also like that the devs are still actively supporting the game. Way better than Back4Blood.

Great game with consistent updates. Worth the purchase.

The closest thing experience from l4d2, even it has unique mechanics and very fun to play with a friend, but cant say much if you playing solo with bots, i hope the dev can improve the bots.. but overall i really like this game

similar to Left for Dead but much better. classes, gear choices, decent graphics, fun game loop, plenty of maps. Bot AI is decent, not a deal breaker. definitely recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. I'd like to compliment the developers for their continuous updates and patches. It's incredibly gratifying to defeat the hordes of zombies. The audio, sound design, and graphics are remarkable, yet it's the gameplay and mechanics that really shine in this game.
I would certainly recommend it to all zombie game enthusiasts.

Had a blast playing this game. Cudo's to the devs for constantly patching and keeping the game updated. Killing the hordes of zombies is just so satisfying in my opinion. The sound design, audio, and graphics are all solid, but the gameplay and mechanics are the real highlights of this game.

Would definitely recommend this to all the zombie game lovers out there.

I have 2421.2 hours on this game (Epic+Steam) managed to transfer my old ID from Epic Game to Steam. Most of new player friend always find the game is easy they can finish all the story map in the game below 20 hours of gameplay. I find this game also grindable i already unlocked all the perks in the game.

Gun and Role perks!
There is 5 type of difficulty on each story map, 1 skull for easy 5 skull for extreme.
The daily and weekly mission have 2 difficulty Easy and Hard.
Finally the hardest level is monthly mission you cannot see any of the player health bar and location, only need 1 hit from normal zombie and you will turn to be undead hahahah, a headshot is must, special zombie in the missions is really fun.
Overall i give 9/10 due to constant Server crash :')

Love the game so much but sadly only downside about it Is those toxic bugs never been fixed to this date.
Most major one Is the lurker spawns, this special zeek Is just toxic ain't fun. needs to be addressed fr.

1-You kill one lurker, then just few meeters away in the next hidden spot where u're going another one spawns. Ok. U kill it then next one waitin for u ahead next corner and so on. literally each meeters u advance in the map Lurer/Hidder spawns. so dogsh*t and cancer.

2-this one is most shitshow that doesn't make sense. U come a cross a room and looks so empty, and every corner is checked being clear before u go inside, once u go inside the room to loot something, Lurker spawns right behind ur A'ss, because why not. Game logic is dogwater.

3- Sometimes spawns silenced in previous areas u left behind, and does no sound effects or any voices effects, and not just that he chase you without u knowing and jump on u.

4- combine all of these trash bugs above while being chased by hords. u just can't effing do Hit and Run strat to position urself from big large zeeks. bcs if u move away from that area, it triggers the game to spawn a lurker nerby.

GAME LOGIC ? GO FIGURE.

Personally, I like this game but.. ultimately I wouldn't recommend it. Although much time has passed the game still contains a bunch of bugs and issues that negatively impacts the gaming experience: frequent network problems, inconvenient lobby system, ghost zekes, etc. The game has huge potential, but it is not implemented.

After 3 years and still receiving updates — maybe not as often as many would like — but for a zombie co-op game that isn’t the most popular, it’s good.

Awesome game and they are still updating and adding things to it. I literally buy all their skins just because it's nice to have a company that continues to work on a game this far out.

Developers are still updating the game with free maps. The DLC for maps are worth the money. One of my most played games on Steam.

If you like face-paced combat like Left 4 Dead or Days Gone you'll like this game. Fun missions and combat and characters and more. As of writing they're still making content for this game too

Definitely recommended.

Really good TPS horde shooter, but hard to recommend if you like playing with other people due to the subpar servers, where you have a 50/50 chance at successfully connecting to their servers. Even if you did, there's also a chance of getting disconnected in the middle of a round. What's worse is that unlike Left 4 Dead, there's no option for local LAN play so even if you have three friends connected to the same LAN, you're still at the mercy of their servers.

Only buy this if you plan on playing offline mode with bots. It's really great for that.
