Special Notice
Word of Warning
Just a word of warning to those out there looking to blaze through the cosmos. Space Wrangler is a game that lets you play with physics to the point that the results you experience can vary, to say the least. The game can handle quite a bit, but if you push the forces hard enough you will potentially break something in it. But that's OK, we will make it better over time.
Any input/feedback on experienced results is more than welcome and can be expressed on the community discussion boards. Fortunately at the moment, I haven't made the player damageable in the game. So when you hurl yourself into the moon accelerating at multiple times the acceleration of gravity on Earth, you won't even walk away with a scratch.

About the Game
Space Wrangler™️ is a dynamic space sandbox featuring multiple experiences designed to offer variety in gameplay. Experience the wonders and turmoil of Space as you traverse the cosmos as part of a new generation of explorers, frontiersmen, and cowboys. Wrangle asteroid drives, locate and recover probes, conduct sector surveys, participate in rodeos, and more. Pioneering the Universe will be hard, but it's time to saddle up anyways.
Blaze The Trails
- Set out to recover probes sent to different key locations in space. Along the way, establish the way to your destination.
Wrangle Drives
- Lend a hand in wrangling up asteroids that have strayed from their herd. Return them to the desired location to unlock further wrangling opportunities.
Hold On Tight
- Show off your flight skills in cosmic Rodeo time trials. See where you place on the leader boards.

A laughably basic mess is all this will ever be. It had promise at launch, wrangling asteroids and towing them back to base to rake in a bit of cash and upgrade your ship. Other "careers" to follow throughout Early Access development, etc. Buuut none of that ever happened, after a couple small updates the developer bailed, came back a lil while later to say sorry and totally resume work, then he bailed for good. At present all you can do is zoom around in a basic ship while trying to hunt down assigned asteroids whose coordinates are utter gibberish. You might find that rock, you might not. There is nothing else out there aside from you and a few stations. It's pretty boring.
Achievement hunters note the only way to unlock the one included is via SAM or something similar. That's right, the developer was too lazy to even add the trigger for a "start the game" achievement lol.
Abandoned in 2018, nothing to see here.

I bought the game in hopes that there would be more implemented from the previous gamers review. Unfortunately that was not to be had. The mapping system has enough issues where I could not even find the end point of the first mission. I do think that the game is very nice looking and I like the feel of it. But I could also not recommend this game with its current development status.
The bones are good.
But there is nothing really here yet.
At the current price and in the current state, I definitely can't recommend it.
Maybe once some of the features mentioned have been implemented, it might be worth another look.
