this is actually fucking awful, its not even funny. the inaccuracies on most of the weapons are completely unacceptable and cant be excused as you call yourself "the ultimate virtual weapon simulator."

Get this game the second you have a VR! its great, could use better models for zombies, etc. but still, customizing weapons is great, fun, unlocking new modes, just wish the settings were more customizable.

I have yet to find the VR gun game that truly makes holding a long gun with two hands feel good or aim correctly without making you contort your arms at weird angles, and this game is no exception; but at least the pistol physics are absolutely top-notch in this title. Fairly realistic recoil, and using iron sights on a handgun here works every bit as well as it does in real life. Long guns and scopes might feel like a janky mess (still fun, just not very immersive), but you don't really need them with a good handgun.

It feels pretty good to ace these training drills, like I'm a skilled assassin, out at the practice range keeping my skills up to par. Graphics are nice, seems like plenty of unlockable weapons and upgrades, runs smooth and stable. $20 is pretty steep for the content here, so get it on sale! I paid less than $5, and it's certainly worth that. Thumbs: UP!
Complete garbage. If you would like to replicate this experience without using any money, you could oil yourself up in olive oil and try to grab and hold on to soap bars while blindfolded. This is pure frustration and in no imaginable way fun.
Perhaps it was made for different headsets. If you have a Quest 3 this is worthless.
fun game to play
Fun shooter, just stand in place and turn around and shoot. sometimes duck. tons of weapons and mods for those weapons some make sense some don't. plenty of fun if you don't have too many other shooters.
Good weapon mix and unlock rate. money and unlocks felt good for timing.

I went into this game with the past experience of the phone game, and it was really disappointing. I was certain it's gonna be as much fun as it was on the phone, maybe even more fun, however, I quickly realized it wasn't going to be that way. The game has many unused(?) and or unimplemented mechanics.
My biggest grief was the sniper levels, being that it wasn't even in the game. I should make it clear, sniper levels do exist in the Axis mode, however, the warehouse section has been deleted (Context: I remember there being warehouse sniper sections in the phone game, you would aim at windows on the side of a big building to shoot targets, and I really hope I remember correctly).
I think if you want to buy a VR experience for guns and stuff, look no further than "Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades". It has a wider selection of more realistic guns, free modding, customization and more!
I ain't american, so this is the closest I can get to a gun range sim (It's kinda arcadey but fun). Get it on sale.

Graphics is awful. Gameplay is just shooting guns at a gun range. The guns point at a weird angle so you have to twist your wrist at a weird angle which isn't fun. It doesn't have enough tutorial. It lets you buy upgrade but doesn't tell you it doesn't apply to your gun. So I wasted my in game money. It attached the scope at the bottom of the gun. WTF.
I think its safe to say autistic people (like me) shouldn't be trusted with guns
Anything that requires two hands to hold feels really clunky and aiming down sights or scopes is nigh impossible.
However the game was still lots of fun, especially the zombie mode.
Finally, a VR game I really enjoy!
I wanted a game to play while I am on my exercise bike, and I kind of like shooting games. This one is simple, but really fun. It feels unpretentious, as if it isn't trying too hard to be "edgy" or "cool", which has annoyed me about some of the other games
It has a good level progression, not too easy, but not too difficult either - it doesn't feel unfair, so someone with naturally shaky hands like myself can do well. It feels a bit janky, like all VR shooting games, but it's really easy to vibe with. There's the typical nonsense, such as firing a semi-automatic Saiga 12 with your right hand, while holding up the next magazine with your left. Still, I can't pretend I wasn't having a lot of fun doing that.
People have criticised it for only having cardboard cutouts as targets - while this is true, they're really well designed, especially the zombie ones. It's actually quite nerve wracking as they shamble towards you, and the audio for them is high quality enough to put you in the mood for zombie hunting.
I paid £4 for it on sale, for which it was an absolute bargain. Had I paid full price, though, I would also have been satisfied - it's repetitive, sure, but not too much to its detriment. There's enough variety, quite a lot of content, and a lot of guns.
If you're on the fence, I would encourage you to give it a try - even at full price, you may find it enjoyable. You will certainly be able to tell whether or not it is for you within the two hour refund window.
Probably my favorite VR shooting game. As someone who would love to go to the range but doesn't have the money to spend on ammo or range time, this is wonderful. I've had this through the Oculus store but I've been waiting for a sale because the Steam version lets you spray paint the guns, $5 is amazing for this game. You can even add your own image in the spray paint can: MEANING YOU CAN FULLY CUSTOMIZE YOUR GUNS. How much hidden fruit can you find out on the ranges?

In its core its not a bad game!
But there is alot room for improvements!
- No AntiAliasing and there is alot of aliasing in this game!
Also Supersampling doesnt really improve aliasing.
- Performance is bad for how it looks and compared to other games!
- Overall handling of weapons etc. feels clunky
- Settings often get lost, reset themself etc.
For a 2018 release it really is not bad but ... in 2024 i can not recommend it in its current state.
