This used to be such a fun and enjoyable game.
But then it was abandoned
saw this game on thelonelyviper's channel and thought it looked fun until i bought it
game abandoned by devs, terrible controls, dead multiplayer
my only regret is forgetting to refund this until now, but hopefully it'll go through
The devs gave up on the game when it was released, their discord and youtube channel is dead with them only having 1 video. Don't buy it. Multiplayer doesn't work either, you can't play with real people. Get Pavlov or Contractor VR instead.
Well this is one of those failed games.
The worst is that the game works very fluid and has some good looks, but the problem is that nobody plays it, and the promised Single Player part is only one map that showed great ideas but it was never finished.
The idea of the Single Player part was for example that you have to reach a Code-Locked Gate. So first you need to reach the location where to find the code and infiltrate using a similar to "Pavlov VR" experience + Bots. Average Bots but they worked. If you found the code, you could open the gate and reach a later part of the level with some checkpoints to fullfil. The problem is that right NOW the code of the first part that was supposed to be written in a paper is not there anymore and the gate doesn't open at all so basically you are stuck.
Asked the dev about this problem in the forums, no replies or fixes whatsoever.
I have the Dev added as a friend on Steam, so I tried to ask 2 times, no answer. He just disconnects.
I'm not going to ask anymore and decided to express a review for other players and warn them. Also I will remove the dev from my list :)
So, to resume it, good looking, promising levels, but no one plays multiplayer. Single Player was abandoned and now is an incomplete level.
You could still enjoy offline against bots in multiplayer maps.
If you are ok with that try it at least for the initial 2 hours REFUND limit if not you are warned.

Is not the latest build of the game, but is the one where Single Player Campaign was actually working before it got broken as explained. If you play the game now, you cannot open the gate that I open there in the video.

extremely complicated to even get in game, plus no servers are ever up and you have to fight robots who have heat seeking vision, and have heart beat sensors that detect you even while hidden. sometimes ghosts decide to pick up guns and shoot you too, so watch out for the flying dutchman and his trusty AK47.
So when I try and start a game, it wont let me. The menu is completely unresponive. Ive had this game since Febuary and Ive played maybe 15minutes of it. The rest of the time was sitting in the menu staring at the wall. Ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see if that helped and it did not. I just want this thing to work on my Oculus or my money back please.
Wow. Even a smoldering dumpster fire has potential. This game has none. Simply horrible. Do not waste your money on this crap fest.
you see your arms and body which is very distracting and it covers up things you need to see. The magazine, sidearm and knife placment is horrible. The menu in-game does not work, half the controls do not work, you can't change weapons after being killed (it gives you the menu but the menu doesn't work) you can't pull the pin on a grenade, reloading and grabbing the gun is made from total crap mechanics.
All around horrible game with horriblly bugged controlls and gameplay. Move on, no game to see here.
Had this a couple of days now on oculus but still haven't figured out how to start the game.Wont even let me host.Anybody else having trouble
Join the club.had it from day one and managed to play it a couple of times and its a good game but........cant start a game for some reason
This game was made for mobile VR.
Who gave this game positive reviews? They must be paid, the games controls simply put are beyond terrible. The UI feels like it was made for a mobile game, the servers are dead and the bots are terrible. The guns feel bad and quite unresponsive. The main menu and tutorial are a joke. Seriously Save yourself the cash, don't buy this mobile VR port of a game.
Don't buy this.
Frequently crashes. Playerbase is non-existant. Gunplay is atrocious. The whole experience feels like a cheap free2play chinese shooter.
Except it's 8 bucks.
This game has got it, We just need to get the word out.
Very much Like Call OF Duty feel, Guns might be limited at the moment.
Take the time to pick it up, I am an online multi-player person, and this really does it for me.
No wait times - respawns just like COD.
1 quick note for the "DEV" The loading screen that you see before match starts - the one that tilts with head movement. Is causing me some discomfort. (VR sickness) Maybe put it out a little further and make it not tilt.
Iam running a i7-6700K @ 4.2GHZ 16GB DDR4 Ausus Strix 1080. SO it s not lack of power. Super sampling at 1.4.
Game Runs very nice.
I can play the game just fine, its the loading screen before restart - not the one were you load to the crosshair and pull trigger. jus the AMF one.
Keep it up. Love the game - for time being i'll just close my eyes till match starts.
I got this game a short time ago and find myself playing it every chance I get. This has become one of my top 3 games I play almost every day. Great gun play and movement system with lots of options and maps. If something is not working right or you have an idea, then the dev's get right on it and fix it. I have met the dev's in game several times and they are down to earth good people who are responsive to the gamers. Everyone I have talked to in game says they love this game, so what are you waiting for, get this game and tell your friends because you will love it too.
Picked up two copies of this EA title last night and very excited about running through the intro and the first map.
Couple suggestions come to mind though (I realize this is Beta). So far everything works great with minor troubles like side grips on vive do not always working for exiting the tutorial (Fire Escape door works). The game works excellent with I5 660ok paired with the 1060 (I have two setup). height adjustment worked perfect for me. My wife on the other hand had to semi squat down, after this she no longer saw her VR shoudlers at the side of her VR head :D. Great looking first map (I have yet to move to the second). Fun firing range.
first 20min or so and I came up with a great experience thus far. Things that would be nice are:
1. A way to join local by IP (I have 3 VR machines)
2. possibly an option down the road to invite a friend only
3. Option to play AI only
This early release is very fun in its current state anything better is a bonus at the current price. Great job Dev's keep up the good work!
Bought the game after watching a video by The Lonely Viper, at first the controls for the Oculus felt really weird. But when I got home that same night, I saw the devs had released an update addressing those issues.
I've got one thing to say..
GO BUY THIS GAME
It's awesome! The Oculus controls feel like most other shooters I've played, so you'll be killing bad guys in no time. (Be warned tho, there's no snap turning at this time but it will be implemented in the future)
Just saw this game on the steam page, and jumped on it because of the price.
I own and have played BAM, Onward , Pavlov and from a single player perspective, this game is on it's way to be the next BAM.
Love the gun action and the controls. Locomation is pretty good, and there are a good variety of maps.
The tutorial is very well done, simple and the animations made it very easy to grasp.
I only play single player, so multi player fans, please check out the other reviews.
The bots are pretty good , just played for 40 min bots only, and had a blast.
I have seen the bots shoot out of cover, and duck into rooms when under fire.
Thanks Devs! I only bought this because the store description said "bots" and I am having a lot of fun.
Note: There is currently no single player only mode, you host a game and can start it with just bots by pressing both the triggers. Mid game people can drop in and replace bots. Dev's mentioned that they are working on a single player only mode.
The game is fun!. So far the community is really nice and well going. Doesn't matter how you win or lose, it is still a fun enjoyable party play FPS game for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. I hope this game continue with more bigger community! :)
A faced paced arcade oriented shooter that keeps you in the action all the time. Good gun handling that is sort of realistic but simplified to keep things fast paced.
Currently the weapon selection is pretty boring with most of the weapons feeling identical other than the way they look. No real loadout customisation for me meant none of the guns felt just right. I couldnt change optics or my pistol
The Good
Fantastic graphics running at a smooth 90fps even on my old first generation I7
Interesting Bots that are fairly varied in their movements and attack methods
Great Character control with a full body
Fun gun fights and quick action styled gameplay
The Bad
A little bit unstable. Im getting alot of crashes in this game. generally when starting a round
Gripping with your off-hand is odd. in grip mode there is a delay before you can grab your gun again and in auto mode your guy refuses to let go of the gun. Makes reloading more difficult than needed
Bad Oculus First time experience
Too few guns - about 6 guns, only 1 sniper rifle and no pistol choices
No interesting game modes - just the standard set
FOR OCULUS USERS : When you are in the trailer, turn around. On the wall is an option to enable Oculus Support.
This is a terrible TERRIBLE place to put such an incredibly important option. This should be on the very first menu screen before you even connect to a server. It should be infront of the player and not hidden behind them.
This is the ONLY game that can't detect Im using an Oculus so I was not expecting such an option and the game is unplayable if its not selected
Guys/Gals, I'm just going to lay it out there. I have been waiting on this since the initial annoucement on Reddit. I didn't get a chance to beta test it but I added it to my wishlist. I don't know about the rest of you but for 8 dollars this is a steal. Pavlov made sick so I refunded it. Onward I bought on a sale and it's okay but the player base is wayyyyy too serious and getting sniped from across the map and having to wait...well I have a life so it really isn't my thing but it's a good game. As far as BAM goes...there's just something off about it in my opinion, which I realize means nothing. But this game to me strikes the right chord between all three!
Motion sickness in this game is almost none existent for me even on the fastest setting. Yes the maps could be a little larger but the size really does keep the action going. For a person like myself whom refuses to shoot another defenseless zombie, the bots are a great addition.
Guys we have to support these developers if we expect them to continue and it's ONLY 8 bucks right now and it's a really good game and it's decently optimized for it to be so new. I haven't had any problems running it, no freezes, lock ups or crashes.

The new coop mode is great but needs some enemy spawning balance. The overall updates helped the game a lot.

If you looking for a fast paced military shooter this is your game. It is way more arcade like then Pavlov and Onward. Thats why I like this game so much. The mentioned games aren't bad but more slow paced. Don't want to make the comparsion but this is the CoD in VR in a good way.
Played one game(enjoyed it and won) couldn't leave lobby after to start game so restarted it ,now I can't select anything in game to join anything at all no controls are working(oculus)
Update,ok so managed to sorta workout the controls though there not ideal in the menus,the controls in game work fine.have been assured by the Dev that the oculus controls are being sorted once this is done I believe this game could be really fun,graphics and game performance are really good even with the menu controls being a nightmare atm it's a mere snip for under £6
ok so just tried again now i know how how to do the menus and set up control for stock ,if past paced fps are your thing then this is right up your alley.must admit very impressed at how much fun this is
just picked it up but once in a match it crashed and now the controls wont work on the rift. I changed it to rift controls before getting into a game and crashing. Looks promising and i want to play so hoping to update with positive review once its fixed.
