Simple pixel runner. Run away from the wild lion by jumping over the cacti.
Don't get too close to the lion if you can't run the obstacle course ;)
The game is good considering its price. It is interesting that the number of lives is displayed by the clothes of the heroine. Recommend.

A very interesting runner that plunged me into the games of my childhood. Ruthless Safari is accompanied by good music and nice nostalgic graphics.
I haven't decided yet who is sexier the lion or the main character.
This game reminded me of a dandy game: Circus Charlie. Run and jump, jump and run.

Nice concept but lacks variety. The main challenge to reach the 100 km is boredom.
Game crashed on me when I reached 100 km and chievo didn't pop T_T Worked in the next try.
The game is a 2D scroller where the main character run from a lion. The only thing in this game you can do is jump, which is done by clicking. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a pause button and to achieve the 100 achievement takes roughtly 20 minutes. I do enjoy a few things about the game, such as whenever you're hit you lose a piece of clothing and the music is actually pretty decent, but the game is not good. At all.
One of a few ways this game could've been much better if it added a sizeable window open, while playing the game is always in full mode.The screenshots shown on the store page is literally the entire game and at the price it's currently at, even on 90% I'd recommend not to get this.
The lion's run
Ruthless Safari is a horrible mindnumbing endless runner in pixel graphics. You character is a young blonde photographer girl that came stupidly to close to a lion in a desert. Now you are fleeing with one button jumps and have to manage a run distance over 100km (!) which equals with over 15 mins of grinding without a mistake. At least you got 3 chances. Those cactuses steal on touch one of your dress parts before the lion reaches its halfnaked prey. Another amazing fact is that the lions nose is smashing over the whole distance through hundreds of cactus spikes without letting it to give up.
This game took me about 4 tries to "win". I say I won because I unlocked the highest available achievement of running 100KM. After that the distance counter bugs out and doesn't count distance properly. This feels like a coding challenge game more than anything, like the creator gave themselves 8 hours to make a game and this is what they came up with. If you want a similar experience, turn off your wifi and open google chrome.

Ruthless Safari is an endless runner game.
It's quite basic, with simple graphics, easy gameplay, and some generic repetitive music (I suggest turning the music off, as it just gets annoying after a while).
All the game comprises of is a woman running away from a lion; she has to jump over an endless stream of cacti; if she touches a cactus plant three times the lion catches her and kills her.
The first time the fleeing woman touches a cactus she loses her shirt, but continues running in her bra.
The second time she hits a cactus she loses her shorts, but continues running in her underwear.
The third time the woman knocks against a cactus the lion catches up with her and kills her (a bloodbath of red pixels ensues).
However, it's hard to finish the game (run 100km) because it's so boring and you have to focus on getting the jumps exactly right for a long time to get the 100km achievement.
Don't play this game when you're tired, because then your concentration will inevitably go awry, and you'll lose the game.
Since Ruthless Safari involves a woman running in her underwear, don't be surprised if the SJW wowsers start complaining about it and try to have it banned.
If there was a statue of this underwear-clad woman in an American city, there would be protests - and it would be torn down by a howling mob, or dismantled by the authorities and snuck away in the middle of the night.
I was tempted to give Ruthless Safari a thumbs up, because it's a cheap game and it doesn't pretend to be anything more than what it is.
However, I'm giving it a negative review because I didn't find it enjoyable, and therefore I can't recommend it.

Game: Just look at the "trailer" - that's all of the content you get when playing!
Achievements: Unlockable in ~ 15-20 minutes - if your head/eyes isn't already dizzy enough to just quit it.
Price: Very cheap at least with coupon.
1/10 - for easy achievements + low price.
I don't get the hate for this game, really, I don't.
Got myself a -90% coupon for the game, paid the 0,10€ and I was pleasantly surprised at how not shit it is.
Everyone who has reviewed this as of now have either hated on it or made a joke review.
I'll tell it to you straight. This game isn't some new indie darling. It isn't the new Binding of Isaac or Minecraft. It's just an endless runner that's been stripped to its bare.
The soundtrack which just loops is actually very well made. The loop kept me engaged and was very well composed. It's definitely on the level Jetpack Joyride with its tunes. That's no joke. I'd actually be glad to have the song in my music collection.
The game looks boring because there's not a single endless runner that is actually interesting to watch. They're for the player. The simplicity allowed me to wander into my thoughts and give me a chance to recover from all of the other games I've been playing. Games like Mount & Blade, where every wrong decision could screw up hours of progress and Ziggurat where the meta is supposed to be followed and being perfect on harder difficulties is a must.
In this, I just played, thought about what I've done recently and just recollected myself.
The graphics are simplistic. The UI is robust and the animations are actually very smooth for something this small and cheap.
So, overall, sure, this isn't worth the 1€, but that's because I'm a cheap bastard. The maximum I would've paid and been happy about spending would be 0,50€.
It's not perfect, but it isn't aiming to be. It didn't aim high and because of that managed to do everything it was required of with quality.
Not much in the way of game play nor visuals to redeem. Getting tired of games being sold as having Trading Cards and then NOT.
Game doesn't display properly (Black Screen), had to play via OBS.
Actual gameplay is repetitive garbage.
Don't bother.
