It's ok, not great. Buy it on sale or something if you like bridges.. or portals...

dlc required for place portal, workshop no have dlc-only maps, cant place portal :(
I played it on my phone at some point and forgot how good this actually is.
I recommend it to anyone who likes Portal/Valve humour and mainly anyone who likes these kind of bridge games

It's bridge constructor, fun for a couple of hours but incredibly boring the longer you play - the puzzles aren't that engaging.

A fun game which is not to challenging. Feels a little bit like a less complicated version of Polybridge.

confusing as shit
This is a really cool and entertaining game, but it has its issues, however they're not major.
I don't usually like bridge building games, however, what made me purchase this game was the Portal theme.
As you quickly find out, this game doesn't really have a lot in common with portal other than simply visuals however, despite me not being the biggest fan of this genre, the theme was what hooked me in and made me want to play it. I even purchased the DLC for some extra content.
The game has a really slow beginning, but the difficulty ramps up a bit too fast for my liking however, this made eventually solving the puzzles that much more satisfying.
The dialogue was annoying at first, but once it went away, the theme of portal was ever so slightly lacking. The music is fun, but I don't really feel the connection between it and portal's music, however this is just a nitpick,
Overall, I liked this game and enjoyed it, however be advised this is NOT a Portal game.
Despite that, I had a blast playing it and collecting achievements and would absolutely recommend it.

This is an incredible fun puzzle game based in the portal universe. It has some super cool mechanics and has very unique and interesting puzzles! This game is amazing for those who love portal and those who like bridge building.
Really cute game. A lovely bridge-building puzzle game, just as described. The integration of Portal mechanics is fun to mess around with, and the bonus GLaDOS dialogue is as impeccable as ever
As far as I can tell you can’t rebind your keys let alone find a mapping of them. It’s especially annoying as it says it’s steam deck verified and the default controller layout doesn’t work properly. Downloading a community layout is fine, but not being able to see what anything is mapped to is super annoying.
This is a good example of a game with a great premise, but would have been so much better if they had invested more time and energy into user testing. There is very little introduction for how to apply new building techniques. This is almost framed as a feature but the frustration comes from figuring out the interface rather than identifying engineering principles.
mindless funn
This game can be fun if you like the bridge constructor games. If you are a portal fan and want to play this because you see it's portal branded, don't. It's not even close to the portal gameplay style. It only appeals to a certain amount of people. It is also too difficult for a normal player discovering this game. It gets too frustrating. I somewhat enjoyed this game but overall it's not very good in my opinion.
Fun game, recommend if your bored of the games you usually play and want to try something new
While Bridge Constructor Portal is a fun expansion to the Bridge Constructor games and genre as a whole, as well as introducing "fun" Portal universe mechanics, I wouldn't recommend it to my friends, unless they're really into the bridge builder games. Some of the solutions to levels are extremely unclear sometimes, some levels can be completely broken and done in unintentional methods, and the results aren't consistent between plays sometimes. Additionally, there's no real limit to how much you can spend on levels, so you can just go wild sometimes with constructions... as long as it doesn't hit the hidden parts limit. Also if you like 100% completing games, yeah no, good luck on that, the DLC is required to do that. I did not enjoy the base game enough to buy the DLC, so this game's achievements will never be 100% completion for me.

Top tier portal game
A very nice bridge constructor game. Yet it feels easier to complete than other simuilar games.
A great puzzle game, if you enjoy portal, you might as well try it, considering we are not getting portal 3.

One of my favorite bridge games although I will mention something that I haven't seen anyone else mention is that (on steamdeck) the DPad doesn't work at all even though I was using the official layout... (DPad does convoy and selects between the beams and rope otherwise you remap it to a keyboard function or touchscreen) Also zooming out worked but not zooming in? Idk why those are happening but if it is not just happening for me then it should be set to "Playable" and not "Deck Verified". All in all its usually a dollar on sale and its worth it just keep those in mind for SteamDeck users
