Better graphics, faster pace than Commandos 2 but levels are few and short.
C3:DB feels like an unfinished and rushed game. I was able to complete the 3 separate campaigns in 10 hours total, playing conservatively.
Parts of each campaign seem to be present, but unusable. Immediately coming to mind are doors that highlight with F7 but cannot be entered and telephone wires in both missions - Infiltrate the Station and Cripple Nazi Support.
The buildings throughout were empty of both enemy combatants and "loot".
The Diver was only playable for one mission!
I also suffered with the Get to the Engine graphics bug which was frustrating as it is one of the better missions.
I did like the addition of the Gestapo who were able to identify the Spy regardless of his outfit.
I also enjoyed the continuation through certain missions which made the campaign feel less disjointed than C2:MOC.
Overall, unless you are a die-hard Commandos fan and need to own and play them all, give C3:DE a miss.
Fell in love with Commandos series back in 1998, for long time was my best game ever. BEL great, BCD even better, Comm 2 to easy but still great. However, Comm 3 is horrible gaming expirience, controls, camera, there's not even in game list of controls, it is impossible to play in inside spaces. Abosuletely nothing is intuitive, all controls are opposite of gaming logic. So disappointing....
