My best friend & I have played the entire We Were Here series, and him & I have loved every single one! They get increasingly more challenging & longer with each new game, which was awesome! Might drive you nuts if you can’t communicate well with your co-op partner though, you need one another from start to finish! We have tried to find similar series that are just as good and nothing has even come remotely close! We are going to run through them all again simply because we miss the game play! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a CO-OP puzzle series!

The switch system is really dumb because the game provides no replay value. You cannot beat the game on the first run-through and that is terrible game design. You're forced to go through at least another run of the game to catch one of the switches. The puzzles themselves are fine but not a lot of thinking - just communication and waiting on someone to do most of it rather than proper async working together which is why it is super annoying to go through the game again.

We Were Here Too was a good sequel to the first game in the series. It does not take long to complete in totality but for a $10 game I think it is definitely worth purchasing and playing!

Additionally this game was pretty simple to 100% and is a good pick up from a completionist standpoint.

A worthy sequel to the first part of the game ('We Were Here'). If you haven't played it yet, I suggest you start, it's free! 'We were here too' is longer and a little more difficult, with some new mechanics added. Highly recommended for those who played the first part :)

As the successor to "We Were Here", We Were Here Too offers another enjoyable co-op experience that challenges teamwork and communication skills. While the puzzles are more intricate and some lack the intuitive clarity of the first game, they still provide a rewarding sense of accomplishment once solved. Be prepared to face a few moments of frustration, as not all puzzles are as self-explanatory as one might hope.

In terms of length, the game is slightly longer than its predecessor, taking around 2-3 hours to complete on a first playthrough. Though I personally prefer the charm of the first installment, We Were Here Too is still a strong follow-up that I'd recommend for fans of the original or anyone seeking a unique and engaging co-op adventure.

Like an escape room at home, it is a lot of fun. You learn quick that you need to give your partner much more detail than you think. We figured out how to 100% it without any googling.
I bought this whole series in a bundle over a year and a half ago, and it was far too buggy. I kind of forgot about it, but now it seems a lot better. It crashed a couple times in the few hours but honestly I did not mind. With checkpoints, and how quick you can get through most levels after actually figuring out how to, it is still great.

The in-game mic system is broken, with no way to test if it’s working, which ruins the core gameplay. The lack of a level select option makes it frustrating to return after a break.

been playing this with my boyfriend for the past 4 hours, the game is so good and so detailed but some of the puzzles are so hard to solve without looking up what to do (puzzle 10.), when your doing your play through the guides nor game tells you to be able to beat the game there's 12 light switches/levers you're supposed to flip during the stages. meaning, if you don't do so DURING your game play, you have to completely restart. now seeing as were finally at the end after 4 hours, knowing we have to restart is so stressful :C good game for 3 dollars, but super hard. puzzle ten is so difficult because you cant touch any of the spinning symbols until your partner tells you the symbol on top of the spinning thing from the inside, or u mess up the whole thing and its nearly impossible to solve. once you finish this only one person go into the next, one stays behind because at the top of the elevator (puzzle 11) theres a symbol line which you have to input on the spinning symbols, right side to the left. :D hope this helps >o<

Very Fun, Yet at times it can be very frustrating, due to you thinking you got to a point and then it resets....

I don't recommend this game at all. There were only a few good puzzles in the entire playthrough. Almost every puzzle had bugs, accompanied by falling through colliders and broken scripts.
The game was completely spoiled by the developers' irrational decision to close the good ending in the final game (where both are saved) if you do not activate all the hidden levers. The question arises as to why the developers didn't even explain the purpose of the hidden levers, and at the same time gave them a crucial role in opening the final gate for the good ending. It was the dumbest thing they could have done.

I don't recommend anyone to play this ridiculous game, only if you are ready to be disappointed after all the puzzles you've completed.

This one wasn't free like the first one, so I expected a bit more, but it was about the same. Still fun though.

Very nice juicy pact game, small but enjoyable and also shout out to the guy in my pc who questioned why I was in his pc with my sister. Other than 10/10

After playing the first free version with a friend, we ended up buying the remainder of the games during the steam sale and we are having the BEST time running through them and solving the puzzles!! This one was crazy good and we were able to play it more than once to swap roles and access the secret ending ;)

We have completed this game and except minor bug where you need to restart game it is a good game.

Decent challenging puzzles throughout the game. Once you complete the game once and play as the other person, the puzzles make a lot of sense and second play-through is twice as quicker.

It took us about 5 hours for 100% achievement completion.

It may be confusing but once you complete the game and play as other character they become easy. Some puzzles are static and some have very little randomness to them.

Highly recommended to play it out with a friend.

Great fun! Played all the games in the series (so far) and it's been a blast!

A great next instalment of the We Were Here series. Difficult puzzles, a creepy ghost and puzzle to die from. Wonderful comms and great to just cut out your friend while they are screaming in their walkie.

Not recommend this specific this Part to anyone, I love we were here but this part, the checkpoint does not work at all. We have to play the entire game in one day? I believe that we have made around 20% of the game already and now they are all gone. I don't want to spend 1 hour again playing this game through where I left and have to play for how long? 5 hours? non sleep? no eating? Everything else is great, I love the entire series so far. Please fix this bug or else, I don't think anyone will be willing to play for that long. :D

This one was really short and $10 pay wall. The worst one in the franchise. Play it if you just want more co op puzzle gaming. 6/10

Fun game. Some parts might be hard for players that aren't very experienced gamers. Major letdown is for a relatively short game we encountered two bugs that blocked progression of the game. One time I fell through the map without dying or any means to restart from checkpoint. You can of course quit the game and restart from a certain checkpoint, but this way you lose all levers. As a perfectionist this is frustrating as the only way to get all achievements is to finish the game in one go with all levers pulled. This failed twice due to a cheap bug.

Plays just like We Were Here and is also a direct sequel. If u don't care about playing the games in order then Forever is what I recommend but it's still worth playing them all after another as its world and atmosphere are progressed quite well and you get quite immersed in it.

The game is not bad at all for 2018, in terms of the fact that there is a plot, although not very impressive. I played with a friend. What can I say about the game itself, as a concept it is very well implemented. You are forced to constantly communicate with your teammate. I think this game is suitable for people who do not know each other well as a way to learn more about each other. But I noticed a very big drawback - there is no progress saving in the game. That is, if you have completed the game to a certain point and want to continue later starting from the stage of the game where you stopped, then this will be impossible. I recommend this game for purchase, the price is fully justified, the game will give a lot of emotions to both you and your teammate. Thank you for your attention

Really enjoyed the game, puzzles are good enough and i get to yell at my friend, so yaay!

But it crashed for me like twice, and for my friend as well. I doubt it was a GPU issue or anything, maybe some bug, please fix that, quite annoying, not sure if others are facing this as well.

I love these games! The people who made these games are really nice and incredible!! I always play all of their games with my Partner and we both love them! We do get annoyed with each other lol but that's okie because I feel like we grow as a couple whenever we play these games!!

We Were Here Too is the second game of the franchise, continuing the path of his older sibling, you and your mate needs to find a way out by solving puzzles. With my friend, we were able to resolve them sometimes easily and sometimes it took us some time to catch each other's explainations. A very fun game, I recommend.

O jogo em sim é bom, porém não teve muita evolução depois do primeiro da série e também tem alguns problemas envolvendo crashs aleatórios que acabam brochando um pouco, mas fora isso considero um game 7/10

In this game you can select one of two roles "king" and "peasant"
as the king class you just explain objects to the peasant whom places the symbols in a
order as you describe, this is the format for most of the puzzles in the game.

This ends up feeling like a simulation of mansplaining to your co-op partner over and over,
and getting mildly frustrated when you they didn't understand the moon rune you yapped about
to them.

I didn't finish this game due to this and would not recommend unless that format sounds engaging to you.

This game was a ton of fun too. I played the first one and really enjoyed. In some areas it was a little challenging, but it makes the game more interesting. I recommend this game for sure, well the whole series!

It's got some bugs, and some annoying bits that were confusing and frustrating, but there were lots of fun puzzles as well. Good if you want a game to not take too seriously.

This entry feels like the medium spot in the series so far.

It's not massively difficult and there's a good variety of both challenge spikes and theme in what you're doing, with only one or two outliers being a bit of a flop (the knight one's inventory system is just too clunky).

It also has the benefit of being very clearly defined as to what each room wants you to do, whilst figuring out the best way to tackle it being more fun than just smashing your head into the mechanics to see what gives like some of the other games do.

I would suggest picking it up on sale though, as it's very short and I doubt it'd take most people longer than 2 or so hours their first run.

the puzzles were a bit difficult but ultimately fun! Good game to stronger build your communication skills. The lil guy following you around scare me, especially after the last game. Would recommend :)

Quick fun and challenging puzzle game for two.

Only 6 hours played, about 5 of it was getting through the game once in two separate sessions, the last hour was 100%'ing the game by playing as the other character in a new playthrough.

Once you know how to solve the puzzles they become way easier and simpler to communicate (obviously) especially since many of these puzzles are not randomized, but static puzzles.

Highly recommend to try it out with a friend and have fun yelling at each other in confusion as you race in against time in certain puzzles. Good luck.

very much loved the first one, this one made me and my partner rage quitting. so much of it is describing things as the other person runs around a massive area to solve puzzles, 95% describing things back and forth. do not bother with the walkie talkies, they never work. quit at the timed maze puzzle because even when we screen shared and sprinted there was not enough time to solve it, and when we did, it glitched and sent us to the beginning again. really disappointed

As much is i loved the previous game in this series, this one feels very unpolished and some puzzles were very tough to complete due to buggy interaction with items etc.

Great puzzles, they aren't too hard but make you feel smart when you figure them out. Only complaints puzzle wise are the battlefield and the maze being a bit too hard. The secret ending is annoying to get though, it forces you to go through the game again and the puzzles quickly become boring doing them a second time around.
Definitely worth it for a casual playthrough, just a bit tedious and boring to 100%.

I would recommend. But for the battlefield puzzle, it is VERY inconsistent with its difficulty. The maze puzzle seems annoying at first. But get a good strategy like google paint and saying clock wise/counter clockwise. This
is definitely better then the first game. I really like most of the puzzles in this game! Only thing, the secret ending is kinda bruh to get.

Amazing escape room game! I fully recommend buying it, maybe not on a full price. The puzzles were fun and diverse, also a big step up in puzzle ideas from their first game. Also the lore in the game is *chefs kiss and it continues from the first game.

Constantly kicks my partner out, this renders the game completely unplayable, especially that there is no choice to continue exactly where we left the game (basically no save system in the game).

Overall poor experience compared to the first game. That game had a lot of "aha" moments - WWH Too is mostly find-the-thing among many similar things.

What inspired me to write a negative review, though, was the ending - there's a wheel that jankily dances back and forth, does something completely different from what you think it does, and the room has a puzzle that has no effect on the outcome of the game, unless maybe an online guide has been feeding you what to look for in every previous room.

We Were Here Too builds upon the brilliance of its predecessor, delivering a deeper and more complex co-op puzzle experience. The dark castle setting is beautifully haunting, and the puzzles demand even greater teamwork and communication. The tension is palpable as the storm rages outside and the mysteries of the castle unfold. If you enjoyed the first game, this sequel is a no-brainer. 9/10

After completing the entire Sega at 100%, I’d say this second part of the game is truly amazing.

It’s hella enjoyable, especially with friends who love puzzles and working together on solutions, much like the first game. The game is reasonably priced, which is a bonus, and, in my opinion, it stands out as the best version in the entire Sega due to its fun mechanics.

Once again, I wouldn’t recommend it for players who lack patience.

My friend and I have been 100%'ing all the games in this series and it's been a blast! Sometimes the puzzles make us feel unqualified to be playing the puzzles but we eventually get through them. It'll be a sad day when we finish the final game from these great Devs.

My wife and I had a great time with this. It’s much better than the previous game. Great atmosphere and puzzles. The short length was a positive for me, it’s nice to play short games once in a while.

We did encounter a bug with the window puzzle that prevented us from getting the secret ending, and we lost interest on trying it again.

Again, very similar to the last. It was fun with friends. Enjoyed it enough to 100%!
