Openworld puzzle exploration game full of atmosphere and beautiful scenes. Amazing soundtrack too.
I LOVE playing this game to wind down after a long work shift. I played this game mostly on my steam deck and for a long time every time I played I always fall asleep about 10-30 minutes of game time. So my progress was very slow.
It was until I finally tried to move my save file to my pc because I wanted to experience the game on a bigger screen with better visual settings and sadly I couldn't get it to transfer.
So I started the game from scratch and didn't realize how short this game is/realize how close I was to finishing the game.
I got stuck when trying to get the circle puzzle piece so I had to go around the game a few times before finding what I missed, but overall I enjoyed it and will definitely enjoy the soundtrack.
I recommend this to anyone looking to play a game to help wind down/relax on the couch/bed or on your steam deck.
I think my total play time on the steam deck is 3 hours but PC takes more because I started from the beginning and sped through until I got to where I was. However, I played more on my steam deck because after a few minutes I just end up falling asleep 😂
What the wonderful puzzle journey!
I enjoyed this game for what it was...a mindless puzzle game with a nice soundtrack and well-built world.
The puzzle portion is simple and easy to figure out. Put block on pad to activate laser.
The worlds within worlds, without much distinction, got VERY confusing. At least make them all look a little different or have circles all over one and squares all over another, etc. I was so turned around most of the time. I'd have enjoyed some direction in that regard. I also found it annoying how much walking around aimlessly was involved... I have seen that in a few open world games like this, but there was really no direction on where things MIGHT be located, so you find yourself literally drifting off to sea sometimes.
There wasn't much of a point to two of the puzzles (big computer thingy and cube with cubes in it..) which was annoying. But thank goodness, because if you didn't pick up all the random cubes, you'd have had to, very impossibly, retrace your steps to find the ones (or one in my case) you were missing.) I'd have given up.
Like I started this out with, I enjoyed it for what it was. I am really glad I got it on sale.
The first time I tried playing this, I had to stop before even getting properly started because of motion sickness. Now I saw this in my library and didn't remember what this was, so I decided to take a look. As I started the game, I remembered why I never played this, but decided to have another go. With the same result. For some reason this is giving me motion sickness almost immediately. Not a bad case, but persistent slight nausea that makes the playing unpleasant.
