Ваше путешествие по No Man's Sky зависит исключительно от вас.
Поддерживаемые языки: english, french, italian, german, spanish - spain, dutch, japanese, korean, polish, portuguese - portugal, portuguese - brazil, russian, simplified chinese, traditional chinese

Super fun but I wish that you could give permissions to other players so that you could manage a settlement or freighter together.
This game has just been getting better and better as the updates roll out. Fun game for sure!
This is Starbound in 3D and with a vastly greater depth in every aspect of gameplay and world building.
Hundreds of hours can be sunk into this easily and you will be enjoying every minute of it.
Pro's:
- This is your Minecraft by Douglas Adams if you will.
- Hello Games is full of talented coders and game devs that never stop working on this game.
- VR Support (not optimized but much better than nothing)
Cons:
- In general this game plays like a port that was developed without ever having PC players in mind.
- This game only knows console gamepad inputs, nothing beyond emulated console-gamepad buttons is supported, this is ridiculous for any game made even after 2006. You can use Throttle and Mouse with a workaround using steam input.
- After all these years the inventory still needs quality of life improvements.
- Generally a handful of QoL related issues that make you wonder how they are not a thing in the game after all these years.
- Base Building is .....something.... again things that you would think that should have been solved 6 years ago.
In general you see how Steam Input makes many game developers very lazy when it comes to very basic things you would expect from a game these days.
Pretty fun not the best thing ever but its okay. I wish I could customize my guy more than just the space suit. but that's not a huge issue.
Great game - Includes: Space Fights, Customizable Aircrafts, Robots, Cars, Multiplayer, Many MANY Planets, Crafting, Building, Creature Companions, Seasonal Challanges, Trading routes, Daily Missions, Fishing, etc... Only lacking feature... VOICE CHAT.... although if you are on a team, you can voice chat between each other.
Exploration is the name of the game. If you ask yourself "what's over there?" a lot in games, this is going to jive with you.
I really like the state the game is right of now!
Endless choises, Cool ships (But we need more then the 9 classes)
More Variety on planets would be nice.
Even more crazy fauna and planets would be cool.
Need more missions. Maybe have the option to be actually attacked in you home base by invaders.
More crazy dogfights in space.
This game Could go so much further then it is atm. WoW potensial if they keep developing new things and keep it flowing.
Use your community to help implent new cool features and creatures and things to planets and solar systems.
the Imagination is the only limit here!
But all in all, yes i recommend this game highly! Worth is money!
GG so far Hello Games!
I've had the game for a long time, and it was pretty fun for the first 30-50 hours, but then it starts to get pretty grindy and repetitive. It's an infinite world, but everything is basically infinitely the same. The platform has potential, and they seem to be trying, but every time I try to get back into it I just end up disappointed I didn't just play something else.
The Expeditions really could have brought it back for me, and I'd be more than happy to pay for stuff like that since the game came out so long ago and they are still putting development time into it. But they are time limited and it kills the experience for me. The recent Expedition, The Cursed was only 2 weeks, I thought I was going to have the time, but missed it by only a few hours and its such a disappointment having your progress swiped out from under you. This makes the game play feel rushed and less enjoyable, at least for my taste.
If you have plenty of time to play games, or aren't as worried about not being able to finish, you may really enjoy it,
But for me, every time I try to start playing again it feels like spending a night with an overly needy and controlling ex, erroneously thinking things had changed, then realizing you would've been happier just staring at the leaves out the window all night.
If you have plenty of time to play games, or aren't as worried about finishing expeditions before they just disappear on you, you may enjoy it. Its quite an expansive universe.
If they ever remove the time limit on expeditions I may give it another try, But for now, its getting uninstalled.
It's been an amazingly satisfying and entertaining video game for the last 2 years for me. I come back here every once in a while, complete expeditions, check out the new stuff.
It has been rehabilitated since the disastrous launch. It's a completely different game now, and I recommend it.
Ended up trying out NMS for the first time OCT 2024. It has been one of the most fun games I have ever played. Keeps you immersed, yes there is somewhat of a storyline, and ground / space combat is a blast! Im barely reaching mid game yet and im almost 50 hours in.
No man's sky is like a miracle of a game. First of all the possibilities are limitless, you can spend hundreds of hours trying to find a perfect specimen of a T-rex or a monstrous sea monster or you could try and find a type of a planet you would like to call home, there's so much you can do and search for, I love the classes of the ships, the weapons, the freighters and everything. No man's sky started from being the black sheep of the open world games to being the example of what a true open world game is capable of and should be. I'm addicted to this game and I love every second of it. The only thing or maybe suggestion that I have is that I would like to see from hello games to add more variety and creativity to the planets and animals of nms, for example when u change a galaxy I would like to see almost completely different worlds, I'm just looking for more diversity, other than that this game is TOP and I do know that they are working on this with the worlds update parts that hopefully will drop in the near future, but enough of me being greedy this game is the feeling of freedom and unlimited possibilities and you should definitely give it a shot.

Most importantly: the devs care about the game!
It's the best space/adventure game you can find if you love cosmology!
This game is something really special to me and I've been putting off this review for so long because of it. Iv'e been with it since before the beginning. Jumped on the hype train from all the interviews and trailers, pre-ordered it for ps4, and even took off of work for its release in 2016. This game was going to break records, but then it didn't.
Everyone knows of the huge falling off it had shortly after. Things that were promised weren't there, it seemed rushed and buggy, and then hello games went dark. No communication at all and I was blissfully still playing it cause you know what? I was having fun lol I assumed like most games, it would eventually update and things would get better and It absolutely did. What this game is now is everything Sean Murry had ever promised, plus so so much more than anyone expected.
No Man's Sky, I can confidently say, is one of the most impressive open galaxy games to this day. The visuals are beyond beautiful and just keep getting better (especially with one of their more recent updates to change the texture and behavior of water and storms), there is always something to do weather that be building a base, making a factory for resources and other goods, being a pirate, investing in products and trading for deals, doing the weekend community events and unlocking more customization options, exploring, buying and repairing ships, getting pets, farming, cooking, we would be here all night if I kept going.
The community is also something that amazes me. Iv'e never had a bad interaction with another player throughout the years i've played. The events that bring everyone together are made to do just that. Everyone is very helpful and supportive. When I first started, with very little money to my name, some random gave me a couple (7 stacks) of very rare items so I could have a good start...it was worth 12 billion units XD
Overall, very very happy with this game. The free updates and community events keep me coming back and there is never a moment that I feel bored while playing. THANK YOU Hello Games for this wonderful masterpiece and I hope Light No Fire will be everything and more we all hope for!
No Man's Sky used to be the poster for bad games, like a pizza without toppings
But the developers really did something magical turned it around
Now, those same critics are glued to their screens for hours..
Flying the spaceship is like being an taxi driver but you are driving through galaxies..
The animals and weird plant they look like they came from a kindergarten art project
Sure, every planet feels like the same boring rock, but who doesn't love a long, lonely drive through space?
What a THRILLL!!!!!!!
What an amazing space exploration game. I started playing around 2017-2018 when Hello Games fixed up their game and made it into what it is today. I started this game on Playstation and now I'm on PC and still playing. 100% worth the repurchase. This game started off as one of the worse games available.....and now it is easily one of the best. The developers made a promise that they would fix their game and release EVERYTHING for FREE with ZERO micro-transactions and no paid DLC as an apology to gamers for what happened.....and years later they have held true to their promise and delivered one of the greatest space exploration/survival games there is (in my opinion).
If you want a relaxed survival/space exploration/cool starship hunting/pirating NPCs/building bases/managing colonies/long story quests/side quests/basically endless game.....venture no further. This game has it all. When I say survival, I'm referring to managing your shields that protect you from elemental storms on different planets and fixing up/keeping your ship topped off with fuel and repairs while exploring the endless bounds of space.
The endless planets and galaxies are incredible and being able to land on any planet you see and explore every inch of it is insane. There are moments when you're so deep into space that you are alone until one day you happen to run into someone else that just so happened to cross paths with you. Or maybe you decide to take on the Expeditions they offer ever few months and the entire community is all zipping around space with you exploring, fighting, mining, gathering, and just pushing through the challenges together while leaving funny notes or inspirational communication logs for you to find as you journey on.
There is so much to do in this game that the hours are literally endless. I can't even put a number on how long it will take you to complete it....because there is no end. Even when you reach the center of the universe....you are thrust into an entire new galaxy..... My brain can't even comprehend. That's one of MANY things this game does right....it truly shows you how MASSIVE the universe is and uses real time to travel between planets. Thank god for the Pulse Engines lol
I honestly could go on and on about this game, but I'll end it with this:
If you are even considering looking at this game just buy it. Slap that credit card hard onto the desk and make this purchase. At the time of this review I'm only showing 144 hours, but I'm in the thousands because of my Playstation time. When I say this game has a death grip on me, it does and I'm totally ok with that. Even with breaks from playing, I still find myself coming back to this masterpiece.
11/10; Well Done Hello Game devs. Well done.
I started playing this on PS4 when it first came out. I stopped for a while as life got busy and new games stated taking up my free time. I've finally got it on PC now and the love affair has rekindled. I enjoy this game so much, but the only drawback is I loose all track of time when playing! You can play as a pirate, getting plenty of action, or just an explorer getting a thrill from finding and documenting new species of all sorts. It has something for everyone.
one of the best games I ever played and trust me I played a lot of games possibly thousands,
the exploration in this game is NUTS. every frame feels like it was drawn by da vinci
and the story left me contemplating choices I made, whether I did the right or wrong
BUY IT don't think just buy it and enjoy on of the greatest infinite yet limited only by your imagination games
Great game. There are so many different variations of game play, you can start the game again and again with a different experience each time. Space exploration? Yes. Space battles? Yes. Planet exploration? Yes. Planet battle - both sentinel and wild life? Yes. Settlement management? Yes. Planet base building? Yes. Freighter base building? Yes. Convoy missions? Yes. Fishing? Yes. Faction missions? Yes. Travel to the center of the universe? Yes. Mysterious missions? Yes. Pirates? Yes. Ship building? Yes. Too many planets unexplored and waiting for you to scan their stuff? Yes.... The list keeps going on and on!
Is No Man's Sky a great game? Absolutely.
Is it a great game for me? Unfortunately not. Every time I come back I end up just shutting it down to do something else.
I've finally found a way to articulate what it is I like and don't like about the game, because on paper this is somewhere between "right up my alley" and "tailor made for me."
What I do like? The vastness. Seamless transitions between spaces. The goofy little colony system and the strange language mechanics that progress as you get farther into a playthrough.
Where it falls short for me is execution. I'm not switching between a mining laser and a laser gun, it's all in the same tool. Only two things change: class and modules. The modules themselves are usually straight upgrades for a subsytem on your multitool, and labeled as such. You'll get an "S-tier mining class upgrade" then I open my weapon's menu, check my mining upgrade(or upgrades) and replace one if it's better. Or just throw it on there if I have a slot open. It's not meaningful and even the best are minor upgrades. Oh yay, my jetpack is 5% more efficient or whatever.
All of the tech works the same way. Your suit, your tool, your ship, your capital ship, all the little individual vehicles you can use. You don't really do much for these upgrades, usually you just outright buy them and you don't ever have enough storage space to actually make a build. None of is organized in a single place as far as I can see, so you spend most of your time just jamming modules wherever they fit and hope you've got enough blaster or shotgun or whatever upgrades for the next time it needs serious use.
And grinding stuff is just a matter of skipping planet to planet, and system to system. Most planets have the same "common" resources which will litter the surface as plants and minerals. Then they'll have a few rare ones, which show up in the vast, beautiful underground cave systems. Where you'll spend 90% of your time staring at yet another cool looking stalacite and shooting it with a laser. For other stuff you'll just skip between PoIs and refuel your ship.
There are strange, incredible worlds in the anomalous planets. Intense dogfights (for which the strategy remains 100% the same and player skill is barely a factor once you've locked in on it) in a vast, beautiful space. Strange space anomalies like derelict freighters. All kinds of stuff that should be fun.
But all of it feels inconsequential, the rewards are mostly the same, the actually unique rewards are largely cosmetic in the end.
In short, if you love exploration games I really do recommend picking it up. Or as a first, it's a definite great in the genre, especially with the actual exploration.
Worth every penny, but it only hits my rotation for a few hours when new expeditions come out. And still one of the best comeback stories in gaming, just the subsystems hit all of my "generic" buttons and that means it can't hold my interest for long. The truth is that I rely on stuff like complex crafting and skill-based encounters to keep me exploring (see: Nightingale) after 40-50 hours in a game and those systems just aren't there for ME when it comes to NMS.
Best space game out there! So much great content
I think it needs to add more survival difficulty, more challenges and enemies
Probably my favorite game to play stoned to the bone. And I mean, Friday night, 10:30, favorite drink on hand, window cracked open, feet up, stoned to the bone.
10/10 game AND developer.
This game went from one of the biggest disasters to one of most amazing space exploration games around. Build bases on any planet you stumble across or just chill zipping in and out of orbits of random moons and planets. No canned animations or endless loading screens. If you were thinking about buying Starfield, get this instead.
This game had a really rocky start when it was released. The Dev's have since then turned the game around and made it very enjoyable. They continue to release free content updates. You can tell that the Dev's care a lot about their game and have put a lot of time and effort to get it where it is today. Totally worth picking it up even when it is not on sale.
'"How long have you been out?"
"Four or five months," said Gersen in his role of locater. "I've seen nothing but rock and mud and sulfur...I don't know whether it's worth the toil."
Teehalt smiled, nodded slowly. "But still - isn't there always excitement? The star gleams and lights up its circlet of planets. And you ask yourself, will it be now? And time after time: the smoke and ammonia, the weird crystals, the winds of monoxide, the rains of acid. But you go on and on and on. Perhaps in the region ahead the elements coalesce into nobler forms Of course it's the same slime and black trap and methane snow. And then suddenly: there it is. Utter beauty...."
-- from Star King (1964) by Jack Vance
I tried to love this game, and put a lot of time into it looking for the magic of exploring a galaxy of wonders. Unfortunately the basic mechanics of the game are just too repetitive and grindy and that very much gets in the way. NMS is far more about crafting and building and hopping around between different places, than it is about exploration, mystery, and wonder.
First, No Man's Sky has you do a series of clunky, weird tutorial missions that rely heavily on mining rocks and plants and running across a procedurally generated desert or tundra from quest marker to quest marker. Then you'll get sick of it. You'll set your own goals, chart your own course through the stars. That's when the game really begins.
You'll discover ancient monuments, talk to strange aliens, mine asteroids for gold, buy a cool gun, kill giant robots, become a bounty hunter, smuggle illegal goods, rescue a capital ship from pirates, buy that ship and become captain of a fleet, meet god, go into a wormhole, get hopelessly lost, and build a new home on a far flung alien world, under the ocean, with your pet dinosaur and your motorcycle.
Follow your curiosity.
This game is pretty amazing. Its amazing how they keep making this game better and better. SOOOOOOO much stuff to do. 400 hours in and just scratched the surface. this is what starfield wishes it was.

Play this game!!! Even if your 60's.
What I don't like, when starting a new game, having to go through the same steps before really playing the game, to unlock items, there are some steps I do not find fun, like the land rovers give me motion sickness and you can't get rid of them once they are made. Or perhaps I don't know how to.
What I do like, everything else. finding that one planet, building a base, finding that one ship, finding and collecting glitches on rare planets.
The updated Space Stations are much better.
The fact that I no longer get attacked by raiders when on a planet, that was a welcome change.
Expeditions are great fun, I would like to get to do expeditions that I missed.
I know it's ironic to not recommend a game after 100 hours, but here’s why:
The game is essentially a meaningless, auto-generated, busy-work rat maze. It’s this very busy work that pulls you into sinking 100 hours without ever feeling like you've achieved something significant. It almost seems intentional, as the game reflects a meaningless existence within a simulation, inside a simulation, and so on... which ultimately aligns with the storyline.
Some specific things that bothered me:
- Everything feels random, artificial, and scripted: the tech updates, events, battles, and endlessly repetitive quests. Nothing gives the sense of a real, lived-in world.
- The never-ending "tutorial" quests with 30-50 steps: build a base, go somewhere, build a car, build another car, plant seeds, and so on.
- How artificial everything feels in a game that’s supposed to be about "exploring the universe."
- The main storyline/questline is just poorly executed. There are no words to describe the disappointment.
I could go on, but this game has already wasted enough of my time. I can’t believe I spent so much effort on all the different busy-work, only to be this let down in the end.
FFS.
This is the most relaxing survival game that I have ever played. The exploration is simple yet does not feel like you are grinding. The upgrades are just difficult enough to get that you keep going to get that next one. Love this game and cannot recommend enough.
I've practically completed the main "quest" of the game, so I guess, I need to write my thoughts on it here.
It's an awesome game with procedural generation of an infinite galaxy. Every star, every planet, every station — there is always something to find out there. And while I'm a fan of more "realistic" depictions of the space & planets (like Elite Dangerous), I still enjoyed exploring the world of this game.
I'd recommend this game to anyone who loves space game genre. There is a lot of exploration, a little bit of trading & space combat (which are… mid in my opinion). You'll have fun, that's for sure.
amazing game. have played about 200 hours on xbox. - There is a lot to do in this game to keep you interested long term however once you do it all the content updates don't really add enough to pull you back in. they are cool updates definitely just not a lot to do in them. One of the recent ones revamped space station designs. that's cool and all but what else can i do now? the majority of the coolest new content is locked behind expeditions which are time limited events. the most recent one had players fight bugs on different planets which was finally expanding on ground combat in a way that the game has desperately needed for years and then suddenly it is just gone? good content but some questionable decisions. - that being said the content that they add is free and the only thing you actually ever pay for is the game itself which is a rarity in this age.
I started playing No Man’s Sky in 2022, and by the time I jumped in, the game was already in a fantastic place. While I’d heard about the rocky launch back in 2016, what I experienced felt like a completely different game—one that had clearly evolved with time and care. The sheer scope of the universe, the depth of gameplay, and the attention to detail blew me away from the start.
The thing that really stands out for me is how much the developers, Hello Games, continue to support the game with heavy updates. Even though I began playing several years after release, it felt like the game was still fresh. Every few months, they roll out major updates that aren’t just small tweaks or bug fixes but massive content drops that add entirely new dimensions to the game. In my time playing, I’ve seen new features like settlement building, more advanced base-building tools, new storylines, living ships, and even massive starships to command.
These updates don’t just expand the content—they give me new reasons to explore. Every time a big update drops, I feel like I need to revisit planets I’ve already seen, or venture out to completely uncharted star systems, just to experience the new features. Whether it’s underwater exploration, the chance to manage my own alien settlement, or new multiplayer options, the developers have made sure that the game never grows stale.
What makes *No Man’s Sky* so impressive is that it’s never really finished. Even when I think I’ve seen all there is to see, a new update comes along and completely changes the way I interact with the universe. The sense of discovery never fades because Hello Games keeps adding layers of depth to the game. Whether it’s new biomes, alien species, or mechanics like settlement management and building giant freighters, it’s always evolving.
It’s rare to see a game get this much post-launch support, and it’s clear the devs are passionate about keeping No Man’s Sky up-to-date, not just with fixes, but with entirely new experiences.

No Man's Sky is far better than Starfield, but after the recent Deep Dive update, the system requirements need an update—especially for graphics cards. I’m currently using an Nvidia GeForce GTX-1650 Super 4GB, and while it's possible to play, it’s definitely a struggle. For a smoother experience, I’d recommend upgrading to a 2000 series or higher Nvidia GeForce GTR/GTX, or another compatible card. If you're sticking with something like mine, be ready for performance issues.
Great concept, but
This game, unfortunately, feels like a mobile game (without microtransactions, thankfully).
UI seems like it was designed for mobile or console. On PC it feels awkward and out of place.
The gameplay is too tedious, turning space exploration into a series of chores.
Want to explore a planet? Prepare to grind resources for fuel.
Want to explore other systems? Get ready to grind resources for interstellar fuel.
You died? Time to grind even more to fix your equipment.
These chores are not challenging at all, just annoying and repetitive.

No Man's Sky is exactly what I expected Starfield to be (I refunded Starfield and bought this on discount for half the price). It's packed with interesting, explorable planets, each offering a unique experience. One of the standout features is the freedom to build your own base and do whatever you like. The sense of exploration is real, and you’re never tied down to a single objective.
Loading screens are practically non-existent unless you're switching between solar systems, which keeps the gameplay immersive. The smooth transition from planet surfaces to space enhances the feeling of being part of a vast, interconnected universe.
One of the pleasant surprises in No Man's Sky is how it functions like a hybrid MMO. There are plenty of players online, but they don’t interfere with your experience unless you choose to interact with them. This makes multiplayer feel truly optional, ideal for both solo adventurers and those wanting to team up with friends.
A major highlight is the fact that the game is still receiving updates for free. Considering the wealth of content and improvements the developers continue to offer, it's a steal if you enjoy exploring space and flying around galaxies.
At its core, this is what Minecraft in space should feel like. It looks good, plays decently, and delivers the open-world freedom many have been craving in a space exploration game.
The only real issue I’ve encountered is the presence of bugs, which are fairly common, though they usually aren’t major. Another personal gripe is the lack of full automation. When I play sandbox games, I like to eventually reach a point where I can farm resources automatically, and No Man’s Sky doesn’t quite deliver on that front. But I understand that’s more of a “me” problem.
Maybe now is a great time, after the many recent updates (and with more coming), for you to start your own space odyssey. If you’re into this type of game, I believe you won’t regret it.
it's hard to believe I'm still playing this game after over 1200 hours in. Hello Games just keeps adding more and more content that keep me coming back! Any other game would have broken this up into multiple DLC purchases (which honestly would have been worth it), but here we've gotten everything for free.
Outstanding player experience, and quick load/world generation. visuals is also awesome and it is available on MAC!
Gameplay is very repetitive and the planets are super bland. Maybe it gets better at some point but I don't feel like finding out.
TL;DR: Worth it as of 2024 especially for people who like exploration-heavy games. It's a slow burn, a game where your curiosity and creativity along with the interesting galaxies, systems, and planets dictate your motivation to play. It may be overwhelming at first, but there are plenty of reddit posts should you have questions the game doesn't answer.

I. Gameplay
Core gameplay is scanning planets, landing on them if they have materials/buildings you need, and moving to the next need. These needs arise from core questlines, and the game will point you wherever you need to go next. It may seem stressful at first, but basically every planet should provide you with what you need to live and leave. There are also endless planets to explore, and the rocks, plants, and animals on each planet are randomly generated to be discovered/scanned by the first person to find them. You can rename all of these and even the planets if you are the first one to discover them. You'll likewise find planets and discoveries that have been renamed by other people. If you're like me, you'd want to surround yourself with things with your name on them so that would drive you to find your own system and planet.
Ground movement is basic, flying is easy, and you can just melee+jump through the world quickly. Ground combat is basic and easy though shuffling through weapons is a bit different from most games. Also be aware that in 3rd person, your vertical sensitivity is locked to a percentage lower than your horizontal sensitivity and you cannot change it (I recommend 1st person only for combat). Spaceship control is easy and very intuitive (I recommend 1st person). Spaceship combat is also basic and easy since the game aims for you.
Building is comparable to your generic survival game building with square/triangle floors, roofs, and auto-locking. Crafting essentials and stations are easy to build and you only need 1 (you can always teleport as long as there's a space station, and most systems have one). Cosmetics are nice but I haven't delved into them to have a strong opinion.
Much of the gameplay comes from self-motivated exploration: looking for the perfect planet to set up a base on or looking for the right ship design to reset for. You can even opt to learn languages (which I did) instead of using translator upgrades, but it's slow and tedious.
II. Multiplayer
Multiplayer is a bit iffy and I mostly wouldn't recommend NMS as a multiplayer game. You will connect in and out of sessions, and some events/enemies may trigger for a person and not another person in the same vicinity. If you want to link up with a friend though, you have to find a portal and go to the glyph coordinates of your friend.
The overall community for the game is great though. If you have any questions, people have probably already asked and answered them on reddit. There have been very few instances of recorded griefing, and the many planets, systems, and galaxies make it very hard to find other people anyway.
III. Story (no spoilers)
The story is a bit deep and I haven't really cared too much for it, but I can say that it is coherent and might be interesting to some people. It fundamentally revolves around you as a Traveller not knowing anything and then being tossed into a world with other Travellers that are at various points in their journey and unravel the truth about Travellers and the world itself. That's just a very generalized breakdown of the "main" questline, but there are other quests that tie into and add to the Traveller's background. There are also tons of tidbits of lore you can go find if you're interested, and on the flipside you can enjoy the game without paying attention to the story at all.
IV. Graphics
The graphics are good, nothing super realistic and not groundbreaking at all. Just be aware that it is a graphically intensive game and for some reason DLSS is way worse than FSR in this game (at least for me and some self-affirming posts I found). Do what you gotta to make it work for you.

The game is a labor of love. It started rough, fixed most of its problems, and added a ton of content for no charge at all. The game also goes on sale (24 USD when I bought it) just before big expedition updates drop, so the game is well worth its sale price. I expect the studio's next game Light No Fire to be a solid reflection of the lessons learned from NMS.
This game is overall, very good. I have played well over 300 hours on the Nintendo Switch, and finally decided to buy it on Steam. Yes, I did return it, but only because my computer isn't the best, and couldn't run the game as good as I would have liked. However, if your computer is relatively good, I recommend getting this game.
it's absolutely great ....no tricks no (Give us your money )DLSs you buy it you get it!
this company respect the players..they did not even pull the plug..and they still support the game with new contents
i didn't regret it
When No Man's Sky launched in 2016, it was a disaster. But instead of throwing in the towel, Hello Games locked in and released a ton of updates, all completely free. Now, the game is almost unrecognizable from its launch state.
For me, this game became my go-to during the pandemic. I spent hours on my Xbox exploring planets, building bases, and just having fun. Every update added something new.
That said, there are still a few glitches and bugs that take me out of the experience sometimes. Things like terrain overrunning my base after I’ve flattened or mined it away, visual and rendering issues, many UI glitches, and collision and physics problems. But even with those issues, No Man’s Sky is still one of my favorite games.
If you haven't touched the game at all, I highly recommend giving it a shot. It's worth every penny.
Very bad game! They haven’t made a single paid DLC, how is it even possible, what should I buy to thank the developers for the huge amount of quality content that they added to the game? I wanted to buy a copy for friends who would be interested in it, but they already have it. It’s also cheap, at a discount it costs mere pennies. Here's another 10 gig add-on about fishing, they brought it, but there are no donated fishing rods, no season pass either... A very bad game!
I'm pretty sure that the saying about the game being wide and shallow still applies.
I barely even got a decent look at it and on around 6 total planets I encountered I found the same kind of wreck on three of them, featuring the same layout and loot inside.
The tutorial and presentation are baffling, where the game holds your hand so much that you can't seem to focus on doing whatever you want, but also holds it too little when you actually get interested in something. So much clutter in the UI, grinding is the main gameplay loop.
I might try it again sometime, but man, what a mess even after all these years of praise from people.
No Man's Sky, otherwise known as the never ending game, gives you all: base building, space battles, planetary exploration both on and above surfaces, economy and trading, ship building (on a rather small scale)...even the necessity to learn alien languages.
It's not an fast-paced action shooter! But it's great fun, so thumbs up!
This game is an absolute gem. The exploration and sense of discovery is fantastic. There is always something to do. You always want to see whats behind that hill or in that cave. The thrill of warping into an unexplored system never gets old. The sense of progress is great as you get newer and better gear and ships.
