About the Game
Pro Gamer Manager 2 is incomplete and currently in a alpha stage.

- Choose how your Pro Gamers should improve their performance in the area you find most important using the attribute points.
- Name and design the logo for your team.
- Build and customize your own house according to your own dreams and your Pro Gamers needs. Build a toilet to avoid accidents. Make sure the fridge is well stocked and the beds comfy to keep everyone at their best.
- Set up your team for stardom by choosing the right sponsors for your team.
- Make sure to keep your Pro Gamers happy and taken care of to maximize their performance.
- Keep track of all the money coming in and out to aviod bankruptcy.
- Choose the lineup that will perform best right now and enter the arena. Do you prefer the bad shooter that has great leadership skills or the pro gamer with lightning fast reactions but with a real bad temperament?
- Join your Pro Gamers as they face off against the other teams and help them make the right choices to win the match. Throw a grenade to clear out the enemy. Position your units to your advantage. Charge in head on or set up ambushes for your unsuspecting enemy.
- Join the Pro Gamer League to gain fame and fortune as your team fights to become the top team of them all.
The current version of Pro Gamer Manager 2 is a alpha version of the game.
What does this mean? It means that PGM 2 is still in its early stages of development. We have completely rebuilt the game from its predecessor, so this is a completely new game. It’s built on the original PGM idea and it’s designed to be developed through an early access process. So what can you expect from PGM 2 in its current form?
While there are final and core game play features implemented, there are many that aren’t or will need to be tweaked.
- Bugs and crashes are to be expected.
- There might be performance issues for some players.
- And more.
This is all part of the development process and we’d love for you to join us early on, on this road to finish the game. So if you think our gameplay is enough for you to want to back PGM 2 in its pre alpha stage, we’d love your support. Otherwise we recommend you to wait until we’ve come further along in the development process when the game is more stable and we’ve implemented additional gameplay and other content. We’re committed to making PGM 2 the best game it can possibly be and having you join us on this journey is a vital part in making this happen.

DO NOT BUY!
unfinished and never will be, game abandoned.
To quote the devs
"we won’t be able to continue the development of PGM2"
Why is this game still up for sale? Even with the dev admitted they will never finish the game steam still has it for sale, disgusting.
you even fucked up the sequal, but i give the company respect for giving owners of number 1 a free copy...
will give you another chance with other products, try to make a decent one now eh?
The developers abandoned this game within a short time of releasing it. They started with the best of intentions and failed, going bankrupt. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
Game was abandoned by the developers less than a week after the game's release. In it's current (and seemingly final) state it is very raw and really needs more done with it (which will never happen).
After the first release flopped, the devs tried again. It too flopped, and they since filed for bankruptcy. The fact this is still allowed to be sold on the store is pretty awful.
And again they quit early I want my money back from the first game that never got completed. Glad i did not have to pay for this it may not have done as well as they liked but they could have improved the game and won people over, turned bad into good but no they just GAVE UP **** quiters.
Do not buy, the developer gave this game for free because of the last devs "failed, bad attempt" to Pro Gamer Manager, however this dev literally quit BEFORE TWO WEEKS! (Might have even been in the first week) Pro Gamer Manager the first one is so much better, and that is just mind-numbing RNG seeing if your rank goes up/down and get skill points, just.. seriously, this game is trash the AI from the team, the fact the devs tried making a Sims + Gamer Management game.. just.. stay away.
The first one was actually a little enjoyable, but this takes all the good elements it had and shoves it somewhere where the sun doesn't shine. Did not enjoy it at all.
One of the biggest scam I've seen.
The first game was unfinished but quite fun and playable, this one is total s**t, not fun at all, quite different from the first one but with no good stuff in it.
This shouldn't be on sale anymore, this is pure garbage, and devs made an announcement they have stopped working on the game because of bankruptcy (5 days after EA release, this is called theft).
This should not be on sale any longer. Abandoned within days of early access release. Ran out of money, released game before they should've to try to grab cash to continue development. It didn't sell well, because well it sucks and it's nowhere near ready for even early access, and they went bankrupt. This should be off the store.
As it stands, this 'game' is impossible to give a good review for. I wish that weren't the case, because it shows great promise that it could have become something even better than PGM which I enjoyed. Instead, the company made a huge mistake of offering it for free to large amounts of its base and ended up having to file for bankruptcy rather than actually having the funding to complete the project. At the same time, the company made a horrible move in releasing the game in its current state and hoping people would support it after the debacle with PGM.
So in the end, I can't recommend an incomplete game that will never be finished because the design studio went out of business. It's sad, but Steam should probably just remove it from their available listings as well.
Terrible Game.
The 1st game was somewhat decent... i mean there were major flaws but it seemed to be heading in the right direction..
This game is a steamy pile of crap.
I mean its so meh that i cant even shake my head at it..
Simply horrible.
Not to mention the "devs" abandoned the game 5 days after release.
This is a cash grab scam, don't fall for it.
After buying PGM 1 in early access i was extremely dissappointed that they would start work on a sequel without even finishing the first one. But whatever gave the developer the benefit of the doubt because they explained they wanted to go in a different direction with the game to leave developement after a week into early access is dispicable and makes this look like nothing more than a scam release 2 quarters of each game before abandoning them just leaves a terrible taste in ones mouth. Really had high hopes for this after the first time i played it. If you guys knew you were running low on funds you should have given discounts to previous owners of PGM rather than hand the game out for free to everyone with a copy that's just irresponsible, and the fact that even after you announce you have declared bankruptcy YOU STILL have the game for sale doesn't make look like anything else than a money grab
I'm kinda split on this game in its current state. On one hand, the game works and it's an improvement over PGM1. On the other hand, it still has many issues, such as League games not counting if you play before the day is over (and the game will still prompt you to play the same game you just played earlier. Of course, with your players being completely drained after one game, this means forfeiting the repeat game, which ends up officially counting toward your League standing.
Since they decided to focus on just having management first, and only for FPS, I'd have to take off a few points for the lack of career player mode (my original interest in PGM) and the lack of the MOBA mode which PGM1 had despite the fact it was somewhat messy.
This isn't meant to be a negative review, only that I'm unable to recommend the game as it currently stands with all the issues it currently has. So, is the game fun? Yeah, for the most part, especially taking control of the players during the actual game. Is it worth buying? Not right now, not until more updates come along.
UPDATE: Millenway has filed for bankruptcy and abandoned the game's development. PGM2 is officially dead. They should've kept the format of PGM1 instead of making a Sims-like game, along with keeping with the MOBA game mode. FPS isn't nearly as popular.
Do not buy.
Devs got huge backlash on the game on launch, updated it once, and completely disappeared. The game is not good and it never got the day one patch it needed.
To start off, I really want this game to succeed and become a big thing. And I truely appriciate all the work the developers have put into it. I am trying to enjoy this game. But in its current state, the game is just not fun.
1. There is way too much micromanaging.
I can barely get any time for my players to practice or stream because they are always needing something. Whether they are hungry, thirsty, or tired, it just isn't fun to have them run around the house, filling their needs, only for them to need to go to bed as soon as you are done. It also doesn't help that some players just end up "freezing" and won't do anything you tell them to. This game is not the Sims, and I didn't get this game to play the Sims. I just wanted to be the manager of an E-Sports team.
2. The map
The map for this game looks kinda ridiculous. I would rather just have real world locations and we can select where we want our team to be situated. It is much more relatable when I can recognize the world.
3. Mood
Mood is very difficult to keep up. It doesn't help that when mood is low, it is pretty much a vicious cycle, as you will lose more games, which in turn lowers the mood. This also goes hand in hand with players needs.
I actually enjoyed the game as PGM. It just bugged me that nothing I did would help because the games were random. I had all maxed out players and we would still get killed in the majors. But atleast it looked good, and it was a step in the right direction. I would have been fine with the same game with higher skill caps and less RNGness. But instead we got this. A whole revamp to the original idea. I don't want to build a gaming house. I don't want to take care of 5 individual players. I just want to train my team, become profitable, make a name for my team, and eventually become the best in the world. But in the game's current state, I think I would drive myself insane trying to accomplish that. One last note: I enjoyed the Counter-Strike-esque much better, but now I have a game in which I cannot relate to at all because it is nothing like a currently existing game.
My advice: ditch the whole needs thing, or make them decay MUCH MUCH slower. Change the ingame world to the real world. Rework mood: make it have less effect on the players, make it much harder to decrease.
Review Edit:
-=|WARNING! do not buy devs has abandoned further development|=-
just like PGM1 they also abandon PGM2 what a joke! avoid this dev in the future!
Original Review:
I dont understand all the positive reviews becouse the game is really terrible in its current state
if you can get passed that it looks like its been drawn by a 7 yr old the game itself is filled with bugs and it has no tutorial
few issues
-players bump into eachother when walking somewhere like bathroom, fridge or toilet
-players have to walk twice to the fridge if they are hungry and thirsty
-players flee in panic when they are almost dead this I could be ok with if they would flee towards there own team instead of walking into the gunfire or towards the enemy
right now please avoid this its not worth the current pricetag in anyway
I'm updating my review cause I previously gave the game the benefit of the doubt and gave the game a postitive review because I saw the potential the game had, and the frequency the game was being updated at the time. However, it was just released that the company is going bankrupt and the development of the game is cancelled. It's a real shame, but that means the game will never go past it's current stage. It sucks but that can't get in the way of the truth. The truth is, the game isn't worth the money they are charging for it, especially as it will never develop.
I Came into this game with an open mind.... BUT.... The amount of bug and graphical errors is too much... your guys run into the enemy team without firing a shot days go by what it seems to me like actual days... They pee everywhere.... no one listens to commands.... No tutorial... i couldnt even make it to the first competition..... If they want any chance to make this game good the need to update this with HUGE updates. I want to like it but its so bad.... Hard to say but the first game was better!!!... Even free as it is now it wont be worth it.
I will change my review once they update it. Or not if they never try to fix anything like the last game
