Saw Sensivility is Suck,
Magnet is Too Short enough to lose
Bad control
It's a cute idea, and with more work it could have definitely been a good game.
Unfortunately, as so many other reviews stated, they just didn't put in the work they needed. The controls are rough, the hitboxes are unclear, the UI isn't well laid-out. It's just kind of a mess.
an excellent timekiller before going to bed. Nice graphics and addictive gameplay in the set)))
I played this for longer than I thought I would! There's a lot of satisfaction in wanton destruction and the goals are challenging and interesting, at least in regards to the items you are disposing of. The one thing that I found more frustrating than it should be was the saw. It never felt like I was cutting what I wanted to and that becomes increasingly frustrating when some challenges required me to cut only specific objects. Frustrating, yes, but it was a good time up until that point. There's a lot more to it, it seems, than what the asking price suggests.
Very fun game ruined by an unfair upgrade system offering no time to pause while upgrading nor the opportunity
to score enough upgrade points quickly enough to keep up with surmounting rubble
You only have three tools; two of which are poorly respsonive. The worst is a magent with a one second charge designed to hold a metal object long enough for a quick grab and toss into a recycle bin.
Without aid of pause or even a bullet time feature the challenge plays out faster than what normal human can keep up with making this another Greenlit cash grab the developer, themself, hasn't even attempted to play test.
Why am I playing this!?!
It manages to be engrossing despite it's simplistic, casual gameplay. Smash, saw, and recycle refuse with mouse clicks and movements. The repetitive gameplay stays interesting by slowly introducing more and more new objects to destroy, and giving you specific objectives to complete in order to maximize your score. You will find yourself coming back, time after time, trying to beat your own high scores
Unfortunately, the game is not optimized very well, and playing it requires a better computer than you'd expect for a game like this. I prchased the game immediately upon release, and it ran perfectly for me on the highest settings. Subsequent updates have made the game slow-down to a crawl only moments after starting a game. I can remedy this by reducing the 'physics quality' in the settings menu, but my system exceeds the recommended requirements so I don't think I should have to reduce the quality in order to play.
Turning down the 'physics quality' seems to result in the debris sometimes moving/reacting in odd ways. Does this give players with better computers a better chance to achieve high scores?
I'm giving this game a positive review despite my gripes with recent updates imparing the game's performance on my system.
Alekseï Pajitnov wouldn't have dream so amazingly. Seriously, this game is really fun and jubilatory. First, as another user reviewed that the frame rate dropped down abnormally, I have to specify that it runs perfectly in my case, at 60fps in HD with full settings to ultra (with a GeForce 1070EX).
Pros:
- Great concept and actually really fun to play
- Quite challenging, also Steam achievements
- Nice 3D models and physics, as the game is based on that
Cons:
- UI graphically poor, with Arial typeface :/
- UI, here again, difficult to understand (sometimes the timer appears sometimes not, nothing indicates that the circles at the top right are actually the lives that you lose each time you drop an object, cube icon (?) indicate sometimes the number of object to destruct and sometimes the number of objects to not destruct, the score is at the wrong place at the bottom left, and so on... I can write a full list).. Also tutorial explanations are often obscure
[*]Cheap music soundtrack
So, despite its amateurism concerning the UI and game design, I totally recommand this game, just because it has an amazing concept, and it's really fun to play.
Game dropped to 2 frames/sec. in less than 30 seconds of starting.
Requesting refund.
