After the Apollo missions humans send an expedition to explore Mars but things go terribly wrong.
You are the heroine sent to save the imprisoned humans from their Martian captors.

Enemies take to long to kill but its a fairly nice game. Second to last boss is tricky, last boss is easier.
An awesome retro experience. It's like if Robotron had free-roam and level progression. The CRT style works well with the gameplay and isn't distracting.

EDIT: I shoud warn potential buyers, while I did enjoy playing this game, I did not realize that progress is not saved between play sessions. This seems like a strange idea in this day and age, so be aware of it before buying. I would strongly recommend the developer add this as an option.
With one play session under my belt, I can say that I had a great time playing this! For the price, it is more than worth it. It is challenging and keeps throwing new things at you. There is nothing too innovative here, but it is a really neat throwback to the old school games of my youth. It's sort of a combination of Berzerk and Adventure, with a great nostalgic feel.
I also love the music. It is the only thing that does not really match the old-school style of the game, but it is cool nonetheless.
I could do with a little more in terms of character animation, but I can see the charm in the simplicity chosen by the developer. I plan to finish this game later, but for now I am very happy with my purchase, and I will be looking out for their next project!
