Fantastic mechanic simulator. I use to restore old Jaguar and a few other classic cars back in the day and it is fantastic to simulate vehicle restoration on pc!

For me, I dislike this simulator. I feel cheaped out on the way the repair system working with just tapping, i wish it had more in depth or maybe even a mini game.

You need an outside source guide to help you through most of the story mode quests. Barns are too cramped you cant slip by the junk or cars to get to the back so you trip was wasted. It's a huge waste of time and money and I am now going to uninstall and bury it in the backyard. Most of what made the 669 hours of play time bearable was the workshop creators but the mechanics of the game are still awful.

Very educating and really entertaining game. One can learn a lot about the main principles of mechanics on a car and must follow certain rules or sequence in order to demount or mount parts. Definitely a like and a recommendation PLUS

Guess I am different than everyone else that doesn't care about the details that are rather important to make this a good or great game.
List. What is the point of having parts list with no details worth having. For instance, tires tells you standard tire B?? Then buying info only gives you 16, 18, 20, 22 size but a tire full size nope guess then waste money because we will not let you see the actual size. And the list you make to shop from doesn't tell you the actual part.
Very little directions for anything also so good luck wandering around looking for things until you either google it or figure it out.
It also gives you jobs and you don't have access to the tools yet lol like Any mechanic needs a special tool to determine if you need new tires.
I am sure someone who has 500 hours will dislike my honest review but that in no way is reality of this game.

i decide to pick a car with a very vague description. i then spend an hour tryna figure out how to mount a tire (i need to balance the tire first smh). fun game in 2025 tho. u can see the age in the game id probably recommend getting the newest one for more game features

Its a great game for someone that like fixing cars

Downloaded it for Mac as I played it on the Playstation and figured Keyboard and Mouse would make the game easier. But instead I got no where as the game wouldn't load. Talked to other people who played it on Mac and they basically all told me the same thing. Get a refund.

Really neat simulator game. It can seem a bit repetitive at times but when you have a goal to work towards, it makes all of the work worthwhile.

What can i say about this game. You like rebuilding cars and mechanic work or just cars period than its for you. That being said they have 2021 out now but there are plenty of mods and car DLC for this one it could still be fun to play.

I was having troubles with audio, trying multiple different headphones, sound would only play through my speakers. Graphics are quite bad and it opened in a smaller window with pixelated cg. The game itself is basically unplayable for anyone who actually enjoys these games without buying DLC. I'd much rather buy any other game than this. the only upside to this game i can say is that it at least didn't scam me.

Welcome to CMS 2018. Put on your favourite music and be a simulated mechanic in a digital workshop.

This game gives you a general foundation of various vehicle antomany. Also a very basic concept of mechanical skills. All wheels off, is pretty much standard. This game can be addictive. Look at the Steam workshop for mods. It has plenty of features to keep you coming back to play again.

Corrosion (rusty colour) on rims. Alloy. Not correct. They should be black for issues.
Rusty damn brakes, crappy rust on the cars. What the heck! sick of rust on customer cars.
Rust inside the heads when you take off the covers.
Are they driving on acidic roads! It should be the clear coat coming off first, that would be considered more realistic.

This game has a few issues, which are:

Zoom and movement.
At the front, engine bay, installing parts, zoom out to work elsewhere. sometimes you are pushed over the other side of the car.
Underneath, under the transmission. sometimes you are pushed front to back when attempting to take off the transmission. Drive shaft off.

Red highlight.
You know what I mean, coming in to work on parts, they highlight red. Red is for bad components. But they are not bad. Annoying when your new to the game, thinking gosh are all those parts faulty, what am I in for. Its temporary.



Excess noise and heat.
This game uses 60-80% of the GPU, 1.4GB of GPU memory in the workshop standing still.
On ultra settings. The benchmark results were 74 FPS (99 max fps)

I have changed the settings to low, vsync off. And it still uses 60-80% of the GPU. Standing around in the workshop.
The benchmark results were 164 FPS (213 max fps)

Using the work computer, more than 40% GPU is used, low settings. For a web browser in game. When opening cases, the GPU spikes up to 90%. This is bad coding.

Meaning the cooling fans rev higher.
More heat is generated.
More electricity is used.

Other games do not do this unless there is lots more going on such the cyberpunk 2077 game.
Update: Steam posts from 2017 have lots of players mentioned this. Meaning the owner / developer did not fix or address the GPU problems.

This is very good game so much better then asseto corsa i recomend this game if u are on buget if not then but 2021 i shoud buy this game its so much good i spent in 2 days 6.3h on it DEFENETLY RECOMEND IT!

A chill experience for any car guy. We have all dreamed of owning either our dream car or any car and modifeing it to our specs. This game allows you to do so without the high price tag of the real world. Experience the joys of building cars or preforming general repair work. This is a chill game you can get lost in for hours.

This was great fun, the jobs get a little repetitive after a while but overall it's worth checking out.

the game definitely isn't bad, there's a lot to do and it's very interactive. i'm not much of a car person, but i got a key for this game for very cheap and wanted to give it a try because the reviews were good. nonetheless, it did not disappoint!

LIke it. Plenty to do and it can be good for chill gameplay.
