Игра-исследование от первого лица:
расслабленно бродите по сюрреалистическим местам, которые так и манят исследовать их, привлекая отдаленными ориентирами и призывая затеряться в лесах. Путешествуйте в удобном темпе: вас не ограничивают временные рамки и не поджидают скрытые опасности — ничто не помешает насладиться странствием.
Играйте с органическим миром и загадочной экосистемой:
взаимодействуйте с грациозными животными, эфемерной флорой и полными загадок твердынями. Ваши действия влияют на открывающийся мир самым впечатляющим и неожиданным образом, заставляя задуматься о том, что произойдет, когда вы проложите новый путь или споткнетесь о рытвину.
Живой мир:
лес материализуется лишь по мере продвижения через него и разрастается заново при прохождении по уже исследованным местам. Причудливый мир полон ориентиров и знакомых ландшафтов, позволяющих благополучно завершить странствие.
Динамичный саундтрек, реагирующий на путешествие игрока:
аудиосопровождение меняется вместе с визуальными образами, дополняя таинственную атмосферу психоделического путешествия и усиливая эффект погружения.

It's a walking sim with a tad of gameplay elements. Some very light puzzle stuff and easy platforming. I quite enjoyed the game and my 1,5 hours with it. I've played similar abstract walking sims, but this was my favorite so far. Usually they are too abstract and you get lost and just wander around searching for the right path to the point of frustration. This game is more clear in its progression and pretty linear even if there are lots of open areas. I will not play this again, but I might show it to a friend.
I do recommend the game if you're into this kinda stuff, but I'm not sure if it's worth the asking price for a lot of people. Luckily the game often has a deep discount. I think I bought it 90% off. I salute the developers for making an out of the box game. I'll be sure to check out other projects they've made or will make.
Shape of the World is a nice adventure game with some original colored graphics and a cozy ambiant. I recommend it!!! 💗💗💗
Great walking simulator. If you are going to buy it, consider it as an art piece, a walking meditation simulator. Go in with these expectations, and you will have a good time!
Just walking simulator, you can watch full game with no commentary on youtube and save your money.. and no, I am not a person who just "didn't get it" - I loved Proteus and saw art in there.. this one was just pseudoart..
Artful and meditative. Really enjoyed this. I don't understand the rating. It's great. Can't think of much else like it.
It's more of a 'moving meditation' than a game. If you can enjoy the scenery and play, without feeling like you have to rush to the next thing you might like this. If you're expecting a platformer with goals and points, this isn't for you.
The game accomplishes what it sets out to do very well. You should know what you're getting into since this is a walking sim. That said, I really liked the exploration aspect, and the sense of serenity and wonder it was able to instil. The sights and sounds match and go beyond the expectations set by the trailer.
Recommended if you want a short escape without much gameplay. It goes on sale for pretty cheap.

it kinda looks cool
An excellent relatively straightforward surrealist landscape exploration headtrip. Well worth the hour and change playtime to finish. Similar in feeling in many ways to Proteus, Abzu, Journey, and similar.
