I really enjoyed this, it wasn't as good as How To Take Off Your Mask but it was nice to see a different side to Juli. My favourite path was Regina's as it just felt more natural, either way it is an enjoyable story that I 100% recommend to Otome fans.
If you have not played the prequel, I encourage you to do so before hand as I felt it made the romance in this one twice as enjoyable. The Love interest is first introduced in HTTOYM and by the end of that game, I was very very excited to play this one as I knew it was going to be full of lighthearted humor. Sure enough I was right, and the MC is perfect for the misfit Juli. Personally, I kind of feel slightly turned away from playing the sequel as the MC who is introduced in this story is very pushy. Granted she has valid reasons, so take what I said with a grain of salt. Also if you are looking for a series similar to this one, I would recommend the Holiday otome series that is free to play on itch.io
Cute little game, not much to it but amusing.
How to Fool a Liar King is cute Otome VN, the second and IMO the best of the of the stories of Eroolia. I don't think it is necessary to play it after the first story How to Take of Your Mask, but it will help with understanding the story and its characters.
I liked this game, but in comparison to other similar Otome games, it is very short for a full price. You can finish both routes (+ common route and all bonus chapters) in less than 7 hours.
Pros:
+ Recurring characters from previous game How to Take of Your Mask (MC did not appear in the first story).
+ Beautiful art, sweet CGs.
+ VA, including MC.
+ Likable characters.
+ Funny moments.
+ Bonus chapters and scenes from Juli's and other characters' perspective.
Cons:
- Very short for a full price, even for a half of full price.
- Linear story.
First of all, don't look at my playtime, 90% of it was spent alt+tabbing elsewhere, genuinely forgetting that I had the game on.
I would have appreciated this game more as a teen. It's short and simplistic, and I honestly wasn't able to get attached to the characters or enjoy the story.
It also had some freezing issues due to DRM that were, thankfully, resolved by the dev's quick intervention.
As someone who played How to Take Off Your Mask, I kept meaning to get this game. Now I finally got this game and I am glad that I did. Both routes were fun to watch unfold. I enjoyed learning more about the world the characters lived in. Also, like How to Take Off Your Mask, it made me laugh a few times. All in all, I enjoyed getting to play another entry of the Story of Eroolia
I've played a few Otome games and by far this sequel is in my top 3. I enjoyed the different point of views for each of the two main characters in all three games, it gave you a peek into both character's perspectives of the situations they both went through together. I also enjoyed the side characters, their reactions and responses were funny and you got an insight on how they thought of the main characters. Overall it is an enjoyable game to play and it doesn't take too long to complete, even so it still has a well thought out plot (in my opinion).
P.S. Before playing this game, make sure you check out the first one to the sequel "How to Take Off Your Mask" because most of the characters will overlap in "How to Fool a Liar King", which is a continuation to the first game. Also don't forget to get the last game to this sequel "How to Sing to Open Your Heart" after you complete "How to Fool a Liar King".
This game is for those who just love a good ton of sugar, it's very sweet. And it's good for when you want to cleanse yourself after playing a bad game.
At the same time it doesn't really have replay value, I admit that I yawned when I'm on my second playthrough.
It's a good game. Great art, VA, story, music, videos, animations, etc...
Thing is it's kind of short and very political but that's better than a regular otome game.
I like the focus on plot and I think it's setting up for the third game (the last in the series).
It's the kind of game that is really fun for 3 hours one afternoon but you wish it was a lot longer but at least it has two routes and I only finished Juli's route.
It's a good game. The romance is questionable at times for reasons I can't say here but it's still a great game and this just adds a layer of complexity to otherwise "sort of flat" characters.
The political part makes the game better in my opinion even though it kind of ruins my happy moments of gushing over the art/character development/story.
Cute, funny and Regina is the best
Second game from ,, Story of Eroolia'' series. I never thought someday could be a second game. So I played and I think this game is more better than first game.

In my opinion characters are the strongest side of game. Our new heroine is really charming and strong. I love how she is honest and independent. Also main romance hero Juli is a good write character. At first I wasn't sure about this character. But later I started like him more and more. Relation about heroine and Juli is another plus of game. Their relacion is interestic and reliable, but I don't want tell why because spoilers ;). About other characters I only tell are really ok and I don't have character what I really hate.
* Story *
Like previous this game also have a lot of jokes and funny situations. But my big suprise story in this game was more serious than I thought. At first story is simple, innocent even childish. But later story is seriously and the main topic is politician conflict. I never thought I see this in this game. But it was positive suprise. But still story is very funny and adorable.

Style is same like in the previous game. But I thing is a little beter. But maybe it's only my imagination :/?

I really like everyone voice. Their sounds really good. Also a song ,, Issho ni'' is amazing. This voice ,this power I just LOVE it <3

The biggest disadvantage. I know this is otome game and gameplay isn't the most important, but come on. Problem isn't a system for is ok, but a sides. Because it really easy see which side is main and which secondaty. This same shouldn't bee a problem, but quality sides is huge. Juli side is this ,, main '' and I don't mind for this. But Regina side is really worse. In theory both sides tells the same story, but Regina side it's doing this really worse. This looks like producent did from must without any idea or another point looking for the same problem. Really it's not ok.

Don't undertand me wrong. Translate is really ok. But I'm little sad that me as polish gamer I don' have polish version. But I know this isn't fault a producent.
? For who is this game?
If you like the previous game or you are looking something funny, adorable and you don't expect very complicated or innovacion story you can play. ( If you like cats this game will be better for you ;) )
If you don't like previous game or you expect something very awesome with something what brain you head you must find another place in steam :)

I'm really enjoy with this game. Funny, nice characters, and story isn't the worst. I recommend this game.
A very cute game with a (physically) strong heroine and charming hero (though that may just be my bias). It's not very long and there are only two endings like the previous game, so it's relaxing to play and not stressful for completionists.
I just want to start by saying that the art is gorgeous. I shouldn't be surprised about this though because the art for the prequel was too. Not only that, but the storyline is also unique and I find the MC Regina to be incredibly likable. She is strong, both physically and mentally. And she isn't one of those protagonists who are completely obtuse and incognizant of what's happening around them. She is very shrewd and can read and understand the other characters very well. Home girl is also bad a ** , she is one of the strongest characters in the story and I love her for that. Juli, Oh my he is so handsome (his gold eyes and purple hair remind me of trunks from Dragon Ball Z) I liked him in the prequel and unsurprisingly I like him in the sequel too. I also enjoyed both endings, neither of them is sad, and equally are good. The bottom line is this game is worth the money, the art, the storyline, the music, and the voice acting is top-of-the-line. I would 100% recommend this game, I hope we will get a sequel, I would love a route for Mars, and Mayuna.
Another adorable game by RoseVeRte, this game follows the story of Regina a little while after the events of How to Take Off your Mask. Some of the characters from that game do make an appearence in this one, though you don't neccesarily have to play it to enjoy this one (Though I highly reccomend it!). In any case, if you are a fan of visual novels and cat-people, get this game, you won't regret it!
I've played about 2 hours of this so far and I am absolutley loving it!
If you played the first one of this story where you romance Ronan, you will LOVE this. (Which you don't really need to have done to understand whats going on, but I reccomend it if you can because it was a good VN and it will make everything easier.)
You can only romance ONE character in this game just like the last. This time it's Juli, your pretty boy, flirty, ladies man. (Though don't let the ladies man tag scare you off. He does enjoy flirting with you though, so be prepared for that but it's funny how your character deals with this)
All in all, I know the price may seem a bit steep for only being able to romance one character. But let me assure you that it is well worth it. You have two branches within the route depending on your answers of how the story will go. The first game didnt have bad endings, just different ones, so I am gonna guess the same is true here.
I'll edit this review once I finish the game, but I am pretty sure my opinion wont change. I adored the first one, and so far I am enjoying this one even more ( I may be biased because I have wanted a piece of Juli since I saw him in the first game hahaha, I have a thing for the pretty flirty ones, *shrugs* )
but yes.
If you can afford this, get it. I sure as hell am glad I did :D
