This game is brilliant. The physics and content feels good and replay ability is there, the rather simple gameplay loop paves the way for hundreds of fun easy to install mods that spice up the game. This game is worth every penny and it is amazing to see how far it has came. Good developers, good community.

I completely forgot to review this game. Absolutely love this game, insane combat, crazy good looks for a vr game, and the funniest physics I've seen from a game in a while. The physics make it really fun to control other peoples weapons.

As much as I would just like to write, "You can be a Jedi. 10/10," I am actually going to write an honest review for this game. The graphics are very good and I enjoyed the crystal hunt. Eventually I did get bored of the hunt and found the dungeons a bit repetitive. All you do is explore, find items of value, get maps and then get a new crystal. I do like the equipment and I love all of the spells. The fire and lightning were my 2 favourites but I also love the force choke. If you want to see what all the crystals do then just go watch a video about all the skills. The sandbox mode is very good because I got to really feel what it feels like to be OP and using all the skills is just very fun. But the real star of the show here has to be the mods. If you like star wars, you have to download the outer rim mod. I played for so long just going to the planets and spawning every single new item and after that I went a bit mod insane and downloaded any mod that looked good. I sadly, most mods don't work on the version of the game that the game starts on. Now I say starts on because you can get the game to lots of other versions by simply right clicking on blade and sorcery on your library then going to properties and then betas and then at the top selecting what version you want. It does have to re update which is annoying, but if you want a mod really badly , it is definitely worth it. I'd give this game a 7/10 with no mods but a 9.5/10 with them. Now in case you completely ignored me when I said you should watch a video explaining all of the skills, here is a quick explanation of all the crystals and what they are like. Body crystal, makes you very strong like by giving you 2 lives, being able to rip people apart (the game has blood and gore), and being able to kick people across the map. Mind crystal: allows you to pick up items with your mind and spin them, push them and allows you to force choke, force push and rip people apart. Gravity crystal: allows you to push people and push yourself off the ground with purple gravity balls. You can also slow falls and create a big bubble that slows and makes everything except for you float inside of it. Lightning crystal: allows you to cast spray lightning, thunderbolts, plasma beams and a lightning connection between two weapons. Fire crystal: allows you to launch fire balls, burn people alive, cast meteors, create explosions and make it rain fire. Ok I'm done now.

this game is super cool it has amazing features and you can get mods that are super cool

amazing sandbox and great story/quest mode, though the physics can get goofy at times.
great modding that easily takes the game from a 7.5 to a 9/10

World Of Warcraft in VR, but single player ^_^
Hopefully Blade & Sorcery will become multiplayer in future.

I'm a bit torn with blade and sorcery, whilst it is fun and the best VR game of its type I have played, I also think that they took it in a direction I am personally not to keen on or interested in.

I much would of preferred development to focus on smaller objectives like storming a fort of enemies, maybe even with some AI allies rather then an attempt at dungeons. With more focus on enemy animations and making the combat even better. Some actual challenging enemies, not in terms of stats, but in how they fight, with correct use weapons, perhaps even enemies that work together as a shield wall even.

I was never really keen on the whole magic thing either and some of the new enemies are a bit confusing to me: I always thought the climbing kinda sucked in this game.

I can see what they are going for and I like this game its fun, but I also feel also a little disappointed with it, like it is not reaching its potential.

By far the best swordplay mechanics of any VR game ever! I look forward to whatever comes next from WarpFrog... the game engine they've created for B&S has great opportunity for use in future games.

This game will make you feel like you got 10 hours worth of sleep compressed into a single action-packed game

I Love Blade and Sorcery. The base game is a medieval physics sandbox/dungeon VR game, with Blades for Days and a large amount of sorcery. However, it has great modding support which makes this game (in my opinion) The best STAR WARS VR Game, with the Outer Rim Mod. The graphics look nice and if your PC cant handle Blade and Sorcery, Get Nomad on Stand alone Quest! I would recommend this game to anybody with a VR headset.

I love this game, it's very mod friendly and that makes it even more fun than it already is.

But seriously, B&S has to be the most fun vr experience ive ever had. Whether im going on the game to kick ass in sandbox or going for the story in crystal hunt, this game is never not fun. The progression feels amazing. Getting maps to get to the next dalgarian temple is very rewarding. And that cutscene when you get a new skill. Perfection. The mod support, outrageous. Also, no annoying in game purchases for money or new weapons. Just straight progression. It's not too hard to get new weapons but it's not very easy. It's in a prefect middle ground. Once you get a new skill and you try it in sandbox, that feeling is awesome. The fact this game is 30 USD is almost crazy. This game has so much content to it. It has about 10 hrs of gameplay. But that is an estimate, I finished the game and im still playing in order to get new skills. Not to mention MODDED SKILL TREES. This game will give you so much content for your money and is undoubtley one of if not the best vr games out there.

Amazing game for letting out stress. Great story that isn't forced down your throat.

This is my favorite VR game and i have been playing it for a long time. The mods and the gameplay are excellent. My only complaint is that they need to refine the game better and make it run more smoothly. I have a high end system and i get lag which is somewhat unacceptable in my view. I have tried so many things to get rid of the lag and nothing works.

But man do they need to work on the AI. Every time I play they keep wanting to stand inside of my body. Either take me to dinner first or back tf up and fight me properly XD

This is definitely the best VR game I played. The combat is fun and it's very easy to mod. It can also be a climbing simulator because of it's cool grabbing mechanics

Good game if you just want to do some sword fighting or act like you have main character syndrome

Modding scene is very active and variety of mods are great

Both sandbox and campgain are good, same goes with the games optimization since it ran well with my i7-7700 and a gtx 1070 at the time, replayed with a rx6700xt and ryzen 7 5700x

Godly game, should have won VR GOTY 2024, but unfortunately it didn't, and for almost 10 years of development time by a indie studio, it definitely deserves way more praise. I am totally not bias.... and please ignore my hours... I believe I'm OK Mentally...

Also do we wanna talk about the crystals tho? I think I need more.... MORE CRYSTALS

so fun and great for entertainment the powers feel and look so so cool its great I feel like I can do anything in this game.

I last played on April 13, 2025, and tried to play again today, but the game won't launch due to an unknown issue. I've tried initializing my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it still won't run. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I've soon played for over 200 hours and im just as much of a maniac as i was when i didn't own the game...pretty fun tho

I'm not very good at writing reviews and stuff but i feel this game deserves one.

I have been playing for a while in Sandbox, but only recently tried Crystal Hunt and it is just so much fun.
This game does not waste your time, game mechanics are well thought out, especially the way you spend crystals to unlock abilities.

Endless ways to build your character to suit your playstyle, from ranged to melee or mix and match as you see fit.

just buy it man, you won't regret it, this game is an absolute blast.

This is such a fun, high quality game! Playing this really does feel real by the physics, area, and combat from the VR experience. The mods variety and playstyles are amazing ranging from combat, game style, and how much gore you like to play with. The crystal hunt mode is very fun, from looting, fighting, unlocking spells, and the lore (but I don't read the letters) though it can get a little bit boring due to fighting the same boss over and over again or from the outposts being the same. The weapon range can be modern to medieval due to if you like the game without mods or with mods.
