Extremely fun rpg/sandbox game, the storymode progression feels great but it can get a little repetitive, which is why the sandbox version is amazing, just absolutely destroying multiple enemies at once feels so satisfying . On top of that, all of the mods make the base game even more fun

Definitely what I would consider the best game for showing off exactly what VR can do. It doesn't overextend itself with anything needless, and knows exactly what it is. Heavily mod-able and incredibly fun. 100% recommend.

you can git many mod and not git bord and their is a story mode I rate this game a 10/10

Blade and Sorcery is the best VR game on the market right now. Hands down, there is no competition. It has something for literally everyone to enjoy, its only issue is it's not multiplayer compatible. But honestly I think that's a good thing, because the way the game is built feels better in single player in my opinion. I have hundreds of hours on the Quest 2 version of this game. Great game, so fun and relaxing, slashing people's throats is very cool.

story leaves something to be desired. but to be fair it was done after all the gameplay so i can't whinge other than that real nice visuals and super accurate weapons and armor to how they'd work irl! magic is real nice love imbuing weapons. mods are real creative too! sadly many of the ones i wanna get are deprecated and aren't updated

Great game, lotta fun. Fractured my hand playing it a month ago tho so haven't played much since beating it the first time lol...

The fact that you can beat someones knee caps in with a metal baseball bat while being the doom guy listening to doom music while using the yamato from devil may cry while using the sukuna cuts while using a flamethrower spell and a staff imbued with gravity to grab people and fling them, is a pretty cool concept ngl

This is a very high quality game with a sandbox and crystal hunt mode. This is one of my favorite games so i'd recommend you trying it out.

pretty easily modded through nexus, base game is also really fun. there is also a chicken, 10/10

Great Vr game, the journey to 1.0 has been amazing and I've loved this game and the modding community all the way through. This game is definitely worth the buy.

This games is amazing, it literally is the loading screen from the Matrix. So many ways to have fun with this game. Could not recommend more. Modding is the way to go.

Its super fun with mods and the new crystal hunt gamemode is sick. The graphics are very good and the combat is super fun. I love all the spells and the originality the developer put into this game

For a full? release, it's pretty darn fun, my only real complaint is how it can feel generally shallow at points.
only a handful of dungeon types limit the number of new things you see after a few runs. While there are plenty of rooms you'll soon see every single one, And Hector, absolutely love his fight, but having to do so six times for a full play-through gets a bit stale, having him get more moves as you go doesn't really help, and with the same arena every time as well.

in short, love the game, needs more game. let me fight a giga-hector like in shadow of the colossus and my life is yours

very fun medieval fighting game, extremely fun with mods, overall, great game

Okay. At first, I thought the areas were fun but get boring a little fast. So I tried the campaign and thought it was bad and janky. But after giving it a shot, it is easily the most fun and best sword fighting game in vr. There is still jank here and there but with a few quality of life mods it's made it incredible. One mod which I highly recommend, not only for avoiding some annoying climbing jank but also saved my ass a few times (most recently I got stuck inside a boss after smashing the last crystal and it shot me up super high, I was able to grapple on the way down to avoid dying from fall damage THANK GOD!) is the grappling hook wrist attachment. BUT extremely satifing combat and really enjoying the progression through the story.

100% recommended! holy shit, this game is amazing! the magic system is super comprehencive and the amount of stuff you can do with it is mind blowing. and the archatecture is some of the best ive ever seen in any game. ive never felt so small.

Cutting peoples heads off and dismembering people :D amazing mod options. basically anything you can ask for in a vr gore simulator.

The mods are so crazy! Like you can basically be a god and eviscerate the enemy with crazy modded spells or have guns in a medieval age while killing medieval enemies! or you can someone's head off with a crazy overpowered sword! and i even haven't played Crystal Hunt, I've just been playing sandbox. And yet I'm having so much fun! And the modders work so hard on these crazy and the mods are all free, which is the craziest part! just use https://next.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery, and you'll find some crazy fun mods or go do their discord servers which you can even more crazy mods!

I played nomad before this but the graphic in the game are amazing. i highly recommend it

If there was a thumb sideways, I'd do that. The crystal hunt is the most disappointment Ive had in a video game for a very long time. When I bought it I might have given it a thumbs up, but they havent improved anything that I care about since. A few patches ago was a graphics improvement with a significant performance drop even with a great computer. Crystal hunt is the sandbox mode with a bunch of shitty parkour mixed in with a currency system of getting all the items we've already seen slowly over time. The only challenge is when there are 10 enemies surrounding you and throwing fireballs and arrows.
What I really want is an AI that reacts to me. If I walk slowly toward toward an enemy with a short sword out and just stick it straight through them without them reacting at all...
This game could have been so much more.

Really fun, good exercise, cool weapons, spells, etc and a lot of mods that make it even better

it is fun because of all the magic and the mods adding tons of neat weapons but the art direction is horribly boring and uninteresting, level design can be annoying and the one bossfight is repeated over and over again and immediately becomes an annoying chore to fight, ontop of the final area being frustratingly anticlimactic; game feels like it wastes potential too often and the only true fun of it comes from the combat

It's not the best VR game, it's really just a sandbox with repetitive quests basically. It has great graphics yet okayish physics. You can get stuck on every prop and it really can just be annoying. Its dev team is amazing though. They optimized the sh*t out of the game where they could. The spells and weapons are in depth but not much variety. There is barely or no single edged blades or fencing tools. If you want to use 1/1 damage, that would be too easy, use 0.6/1.2 to feel like you aren't instantly op.
Should I buy it: If its your first VR game, 100% no, go play a game with teleportation controls or easier to learn controls.
If you do have other VR games, you should get it as it is a great sandbox with a side of story.

Game itself is amazing yet I can't recommend it as the latest update made the game unplayable on AMD GPUs.

Huge modding capability, loads of fun when you install a few, or even the game raw, 10/10, would buy again

I haven't played the game for too long but from what i can tell so far it's pretty good!!! With the release of the full game, added story mode and new features I have come to really enjoy my time. Mods is the next best thing, there are HUNDREDS of mods ranging from The Outer Rim (Star Wars Mod that's game changing) to something simple like a cheat saver and the integration is easy!!! highly recommend this game for those seeking a thrilling and fun play style or those who want to be a wizard Orr those Psychos who really want to feel the power of someones life in your very hands and decimate all those in your path (like me)

I can't wait to see how much this game will grow, it is already so incredibly fun.

This is the panicle of VR gameplay, I don’t care what steam awards says, while I only have 7.5 hours on steam, I’ve played a lot in the meta quest app and nomad version. Amazing game

Played this much more on Nomad (quest port), but It's a fantastic game I think anyone who has gained their VR legs should play! Mods are pretty awesome too!

Let me preface this review by saying I love this game and, in most regards, fully recommend it as a must-have for your VR collection. However, I am giving this a downvote and keeping that downvote until one major issue is fully resolved;

There is a completely game-bricking bug that occurs anytime the game updates, you change mods, or just randomly for no reason at all. This bug makes it impossible to even progress past the main menu; As soon as you load in, your view and laser pointer for the menu are locked in place and cannot be moved. You can open the SteamVR menu to unlock your view, but your laser pointer will remain permanently stuck. This makes it impossible to even start the game, let alone play it.

Over the years, this bug has persisted and has continued to be the single worst roadblock in anyone's enjoyment of Blade & Sorcery. This NEEDS to be addressed and fully resolved, no more workarounds or "just reinstall" copes. Yes, the only way to currently get around the bug once it inevitably happens is to fully delete the game (even your saves in the Documents folder of your computer) and then reinstall it. This is completely unacceptable for a game in "full release."

I will continue to hold a downvote on this game until this bug is fixed. There is no rhyme, reason, or excuse for it to still be present after all these years.

Excellent VR Sword fighting game, physics based combat is amazing, and modding makes replay ability near unlimited. Absolutely worth it if you can run the game on your PC very well.

Its not bad, I really cant give an honest Vanilia review at all? Because I solely played this for the Outer Rim mod star wars mod. But, in any case.

So, i came in with high expectations, but the AI really sucks at using Lightsabers lol. They usually suck at blocking, and you can just cut them into pieces.

otherwise, the game is fun, thats what matters most.
