Welcome to Homegrove!

A 2D world like you've never even CONSIDERED anything remotely similar could ever possibly exist in your wildest dreams! (maybe)
A blend of classic mechanics, some rarely seen in a sidescroller; meant to pay homage to the greats of the past while accomplishing a tasty new fusion of gameplay.

Punch

That's your main attack. Learn to punch well, my children.
Keep your enemies stunned by chaining punches together with correct timing, take them down with a single furious barrage!

Level Up

Punch harder, punch faster, punch better, punch stronger... or get hp or charm points, those are important too.

Collect

Charms and ingredients from the environment and the corpses of your enemies!
Catch bugs and things and stuff 'em in bottles. Ah yes, good ol' bottles.

Magical Charms

Equip charms using Charm Points (tentative) that augment gameplay. Make things easier, or different. See what you can get away with!

Cooking

Mix ingredients to make tasty treats for yourself that help in a variety of ways. Maybe feed some monsters.

Play A Tune

On a flute, to bring peace to the dead, summon the rain, and other strange things.

Unlock

new items and abilities, then use them as tools to solve problems, overcome obstacles, and interact with the world.

Outsmart

Each new enemy poses a unique challenge with distinct strategies. Enemies won't be defeated with a simple jump or punch (OK some of them you can just punch).

Explore (the Lore)

far from the titular home grove, and perhaps, if you want, uncover that there is more to this seemingly happy-go-lucky world than you had originally thought.

Night N' Day

Watch the colors change as you play, encounter certain enemies and characters at certain times, sow seeds and reap the fruits.

Online Multiplayer

Connect with friends to punch things, and friends.

Jump
