I like it, but RAGNAROCK is MUCH BETTER! got it on quest+, play it rlly often. thought BS will give me the same vibes, but it lacks the ROCK and gives too much BEAT (all the songs are cringy ahh DJ songs)

If you want some good ol' fashioned mental and physical torture while enjoying some of the best music you've ever heard in a video game while lights surround you then this is the game for you and if not, why not, it's fun.

In my opinion this is and always will be the best VR game on the market. The unlimited replayablity and the easiness of modding is where this game truly shines.

Swing arm fast, very good. Power of the saber blade is my kryptonite, its impossible.

Awesome game but if you want some more fun go to to the bsaber website and you'll thank me later

I'll keep it simple this game is amazing for listening to your favourite songs while dancing/singing if you play on the lower difficulties.
Sadly the more you increase the difficulty the more you end up just frozen in one spot only using your wrists until they start hurting which completely kills the fun for me.

Multiplayer was disappointing you can barely even see your friends compared to the VRChat version where you can actually be next to eachothers and mess with their sabers so I can't give props there it felt very underwhelming/lonely.

Overall recommended since the game is smooth and it will never be not satisfying to cut a bunch of floating blocks; but still a bit disappointing!

How have y'all managed to make the game less playable over time? First, I couldn't get the game to run over 5 FPS without mods (fresh install, no mods on this PC prior). Then, most of the time when I try to launch the game, the saber isn't connected to my controller, it's just sitting motionless on the ground, so I can't even get past the initial warning screen. All on Valve Index btw, tried all usual troubleshooting steps, the only thing that works is rebooting my entire PC until it decides to work. WTF? Not recommended anymore, at least for Index users. Maybe it's better on Quest given that's what the branding indicates now.

This was my go-to VR game over the years and is amazing to play - IF it slowly is not becoming more and more riddled with performance issues and bugs. Not loading into the world properly (randomly 1.5m down, rotated, moved, etc.), lag spikes and frame drops ever 10 seconds or so, etc. etc. etc.

This happens on 4 different computers and 3 headsets (HTC Vive, Quest 2 and the newest quest). The devs seem to not care about the game anymore which is an absolute shame. Sadly have to rate this negatively.

best music game since guitar hero 2. definitely best vr music game and i have tried them all. i have beat saber on valve index, sp vr 1 and 2. and the quest 2. the only thing i wish is that if u buy music packs on one vr system. that u got a code for the rest of them. pc vr has tones of mod for beat saber that is pretty cool. would recommend to any one with any kind of vr

constant issues with oculus link and bsmanager. trying to run a clean install of both this and bsmanager does nothing. Can't recommend if you plan on playing with a oculus/meta headset since I can't even play the game.

incredibly good game, wouldnt play it as much without mods though

Good except for the pile of drugs youd have to be on to successfully "full combo" almost all expert and expert+ difficulties.

Great game, good cardio, modding is necessary for wider range of fun

Its still fun! especially if you have mods, the library is much much much larger than what you get officially.

Fitting to say it's the new generation of DDR. It's got it's target audience, and who could hate them for it? That would be crazy.

For those that are old enough: ever walk into an arcade and there's that one Asian guy who's playing the hardest level of DDR like he's got 12 legs? Don't compare yourself to that guy. Play Beat Saber at your own pace, for your enjoyment and no one else.

Good base game but best played with Mods. The Licensed Songs are good and mapped well but if you only play them it can get stale. So just whack on some Songs and boom bada bing you got yourself one of the best VR Games out there.

I would even say Beat Saber is a must have game for anyone with a VR Headset.

Good gods this game is a workout, but in a good way. Would highly recommend a larger playspace, and to do the Campaign. it's basically a tutorial

Love the game! I can get some energy out while I play a game and listen to music all at the same time.

This game is to VR what Wii Sports was to the Wii. It's an essential game with a simple goal and control scheme, easy for newcomers to get into.

Though if you're new to the game, I'd suggest sticking to the songs provided by the game as well as DLC. There are custom songs you can add via modding, but the difficulty barrier for pretty much most of the songs you'll want to play is way too much for a casual or beginner player and I wouldn't recommend it.

(refunded because I already have it on PS5 with DLC.)

Beat Saber is one of the best games I've played and by far the best VR game I've played. Modding it is the best way to get cooler levels, but the inbuilt songs are still fun.

not since DDR have I been so immersed in a rhythm game.

The complex Expert songs reach an entirely new level of transcendence and you become one with the song.

This game needs no introduction. If you've heard of VR, you've heard of Beat Saber. It goes together like peanut butter and jelly. It's the best invention since sliced bread. Yes, it's that good!

This is the single greatest VR game of all time and the sole reason you should buy a VR headset, pretty much every other VR game is novelty, and aside from shooters i guess, this is the only one you could literally play endlessly. You feel like an absolute badass playing it (while looking the complete opposite xD), and you will feel yourself improve and climb the ranks if you keep at it. YOU will improve, you wont improve at the game, because improving at the game is just improving yourself, because YOU are the controller, there are no buttons (aside from in menus lol), you must use your body, your actual physical attributes. This is more than just a game.

Hitboxes are awful. Maybe a delay on VR?

Getting max 110-135ms reaction test on online tests and getting kicked from other games because they think I cheat,
But in this game if you "cut" perfectly it says miss?

An excellent rhythm action game with modes for a more relaxed or freestyle play or the standard competitive play. If you're not worried about being the best and just want to have fun it's great! If you want to be skilled and go for gold it's got that too. 100% must for any VR setup and was a large factor in getting VR for us.

I felt like I was Eminem on stage for a brief second and it was very nice

This game's true potential can be unlocked through mods. Luckily its much easier to do on steam nowadays than it was before thanks to this new BeatSaberManager.
Anyway Beat Saber won't only entertain you with its epic songs (or those you choose after modding it) but you'll greatly boost your cardio and endurance, cuz you'll be moving your arms a lot believe me.

The rhythm game i've poured the most amount of time into as well as my favorite. I've play much more on my quest but this game got me into rhythm games as a genre.

steam vr doesnt work properly for me (ik that isnt a beat saber problem)

but its a pretty good game when it works via quest link, would recommend modding it though :3

Amazing game and workout. Only downside is the later stages of the game entailing expert+ are such a wide spectrum from slightly harder than hard to you'll need a congressperson's yacht worth of cocaine to even make it halfway through.

This game only exists to punish its own modding community. Custom levels go hard but the devs don't want you to know this.

I always thought cardio involved moving your legs.

Unfortunately I got wrist pains from playing too much. I never became a beat saber god. But cheers to those who are!

unmodded is just straight up boring when there arent any interesting updates, but when its modded its really hard to keep with the unmodded version, definitely a fun way to burn some calories and train your reflexes 👍
