This game is INFINITELY better in vr, and a lot more fun too.
Graphics 8/10
-While simplistic it works well with the games style. This game is super super optimized you can run it on almost all hardware
Gameplay 10/10
-It's super fun to dodge, shoot and throw shit at them, and some of the levels offer a nice challenge
Story 3/10
-Most if not all of the story from the flat version of this game is cut, which sucks but i can see why they cut it because it would be A LOT more work
Immersion 10/10
-I've hit things in my room so many time because it really transports me to the world making me forget i'm in my room with a display on my face
How hard is it to 100%? 5/10
-pretty hard at some parts, you do have to actually try. the hardest thing in the game for me was trying to do and the in-game time speedruns, those had tight windows. but other than that it doesn't really take that long

There are some games that could of had a very cool vr port, this is one of them.
But the port was too limiting and disappointing, making this essentially a stay in place arcade game instead of the super hot we know and love.
Fun game but short I beat it in 4 hours.
as someone who played and beat the game within the refund window to the point where i even let a friend play till they got bored(1/2game). ive no desire to replay the game. theres just not enough content. more like a tech demo for a cool concept. all be it done well its hard for me to recommend.
good game but not for 20$ buy it on sale
Just getting into VR, and this is probably the 7th or 8th game I've tried out, and I am loving it. Just finished the last level, so a single play through is only ~2 hours, however I certainly am coming back to this to try out the additional challenges and achievements.
But after playing this in VR, I can't imagine playing the standard version of SUPERHOT again- the concept of this game is just perfect for VR. Being able to physically contort your body to doge bullets, dive to cover, and reach around objects to blind fire just feels so good and is exactly how VR capabilities should be used for.
I got this on sale for $10 and I would 100% it is worth it if you have a VR system. This made me feel more like a bad-ass than any other game I have tried yet; which admittedly is not that many since at the moment I still get some motion sickness (i.e. cybersickness) from games with stick motion- but the design of this game limits any necessary movement to what can be done in your play space physically.

This won't harm the game (which is good), as it's old and most people disagree with me anyway. BUT I have to say - cool concept and can be fun, but that 'if you fail you start a few levels back' design is pure nonsense. I don't want to play because of it.
There should have been at least a toggle or something. If people out there are perfectionists and want to do the entire 'sequence' again and again - good for them. Some of us lose patience and it just takes the fun out of this game.
And I get this won't make a difference, like I said, the game was a huge hit, so I guess most people disagree wit me. But it's my 2 cents.
is it superhot in hear or is it just me
too short for its price, devs removed part of the lore because it was "insensitive".
This game wasn’t just made for VR; it feels like VR was created solely for this game to exist. Even in my fairly small play space (of which this game kinda punishes you for having) its still a blast. This is a must have, especially for those who just picked up a headset and want to quickly get familiar.
This game FEELS like it was meant for VR and then was ported to PC its that good I've only played around 17 minutes, but I've already fell in love with this FPS puzzle shooter.
10/10 one if not the best VR game of all time.
Cool game! Definitely a staple of vr gaming, really good game to move to VR! You really have to plan each and every move, trial and error. A good challenge! Definite recommendation when its on sale, snagged the game for $9.

Superfun. One of the few must-play VR games that truly takes advantage of the format instead of just being a game you've already played but in VR.
Game is ridiculous. Got blocked at +-50% of the game because i have to physically move to the weapons, but guess what, these are far and my walls won't let me get them.

regarding the content removal i think the option to skip it is super cool to add for people who have problems with things such as self harm. i think removing the content completely tho is extremely anti art and stupid.
However all of this doesnt change the fact that this game is really fun to play.

worst controls you can imagine, and not reliable at all. throwing just makes me mad as it keeps tossing items randomly in the air, grabbing works around 30% of the time.
my valve index and it's controllers are absolutely fine and work well in other games. but this - this is just horrible.

The game works very well in VR so long as you have a few feet around you to reach for things and lean out of the way of projectiles. It's pretty short but if you enjoyed the first game at all and you have a VR headset you need to try this out.
There's a small part (time-wise) of the story that was taken out because the devs chickened out to triggered concern trolls online, you'll have to read guides if you want to experience it as originally published since what they took out can't be put back in through official options. I'd still recommend even the lesser version though if you don't want to fiddle with that.

While great adaptation to early VR, I still wonder what a true 1:1 VR version of the original SuperHot would be like.
It took me some time to learn it with friend's helmet, but damn it's a great VR exemplar. (moar levels plz)

I was hoping this game would be like the other version but in VR. But was disappointed that you can't even walk around in the game.
the guns are too violent, can we remove them
The game is fully unplayable on a Quest 2, probably other VR headsets too. The game spawns you outside of bounds and there's no apparent fix despite this bug existing since the game's launch. Sure it'd be great if they actually bothered to fix this.

I love this game the gameplay is fun and the concept is very cool
While the game is quite short, it still is worth playing. The whole gimmick that SUPERHOT had blends in perfectly into VR, allowing for a quite innovative and enjoyable gameplay. What's also worth mentioning, that the game has a lot of replayability potential, which makes me want to play it even more.
SuperHot Vr é uma excelente adaptação do jogo base para o sistema Rv, o jogo encaixa perfeitamente na imersão que os jogos Vr tem que possuir. Porem não recomendo você comprar o jogo se não for para platinar, pois o jogo é meio curto e se você não fizer os desafios extras e um pouco do endless mod (modo sem fim) não vale muito a pena.
SUPERHOT VR feels like a combination of John Wick and the Matrix combined. Its difficulty, gameplay, and graphical design are amazing. I will have to say that while it does get frustrating from time to time, it's still a fun VR game to play.
It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years but in vr. Sadly they took off the s*icides scenes which gave a bit of lore but the game is still a lot of fun, pretty short though.

A really nice game. The only downside is that you can't move & you must rotate them hands a lot for time to go faster.
Absolutely play this game. You're dropped into a room with bad guys and weapons sprinkled in, and they only move if you do. It's weird at first, but in short order you'll be tagging guys with ninja stars, grabbing their guns out of the air, and blocking bullets with your pointer finger. A word of warning though...don't walk into the street in the real world for at least an hour after playing, or you will think you can stop traffic by freezing. Don't ask me how I know that.
