Tales of the Tiny Planet may look like some bad indie game, but once you play it, you'll see the sheer effort that was put into every level. Everything is tuned to the pixel so that it's hard to perform shortcut tricks. Your time is shown on an online leaderboard to give you extra sense of accomplishment when you pull off what seemed impossible. In rare cases a bit of luck goes into it as well, but rather than unfair it feels more like a reward because of how tight the margins are and how much effort you put into practising the level.
Besides, the game is absolutely adorable with its happy little round planets and their silly voice lines like boop, abadaba, bleeyo. I wish they had their own made-up language, but the voice lines and translated text bubbles seem to be random. The short story is very wholesome and heartwarming. The music fits perfectly with the whole style and mindset of the game and their developers.
Tales of the Tiny Planet is a hidden gem hiding in plain sight because you really have to play it to know its true value.

This game is so addicting, I can't believe I just found out about this game. Without even noticing I had already played for over an hour which seems to be one third of this game's average play through time. I hope they make another one or something similar. The sound effects and music haven't gotten annoying yet. It feels like this game was intensely play tested. I was genuinely excited whenever I was able to beat a level with 3 stars (which is what I always aimed for) It reminds me of the mobile games you'd see on your phone but never clicked on because you knew it would be a waste of your time. Obviously this is the real deal and loads of fun. For those interested in playing get ready to root for yourself and shout at your screens!
Abosuletly exquisite game. from the pinball physics to the rage quit capabilities and the realisim of being a ball with moving planks all around you. really goes to show how much thought went into this game. 10/10, perfect game

At first, thought the game was rather boring, but then I continued and the urge to want all 3 stars for each level just nagged me on.
The puzzles are fairly simple, but the player has to do them in a short time in order to get those stars. Gives a sense of adrenaline with the 3rd star especially. Music waves calm energy as one plays the game until the White planet hits and the tables turn.
It's a fun chilling game for those who want a bit of a challenge on the side.
A very enjoyable game!
A challenging physics puzzle. World 5/6 are very hard, especially marathon mode achievements are annoying. Still cute and enjoyable.
