My friend kept trying to get me to buy this game and I can see why it's really funny and a very good platformer

I easily put hundreds of hours on this game on the 360 killing my friends and brothers.

This game is amazing. That’s all you need to say about it, it reminded me to buckle my pants and it features laughter, romance, humor, violence, and heartbreak. Also there’s a whale which is super scary.

This is a nice platformer, I've bought for my son and we both enjoyed it. Lot of collectibles, exciting levels and a bit lame story but it's ok.
Idk why so many people says that this game don't work on linux it runs fine for me but anyways the game is great and I have a good experience playing alone
absolute classic for a good reason. no big core mechanic, just a really good platformer made with basic parts. very charming visuals and humor, it's great.

A fun game to play alone or with freinds! Although it can get repetitive with the levels. Had this game back on the Xbox360 loved it then and still love it now!
Honestly, this one is still recommendable. While it's a bit outdated as far as humor and art direction go it still plays really well and is a fun platformer overall. I'd say it's still worth picking up especially if you have any flash game background.
After The Behemoth made Castle Crashers, a few years before, I was so glad there next game was as (if not, more) fun,
they outdid themself. There's a bit of crude humor. I also think you should have a friend (whether online, or local) to play the story, it's much better that way! $_$
there are checkpoints... but none of them work properly in co-op. you spawn nowhere NEAR the last checkpoint when you die.

Battleblock Theater is a platformer game that has 8 levels of 13 stages. Each level is innovatively created and can be done using equipped skills as well. There are tons of prisoner heads to collect which motivates me to collect all the gems to unlock them. I really love the art style, which is so simple yet so pleasing. There is also 2 difficulty, the normal difficulty and the insane difficulty, which has the perma death feature for each stage. There is also community maps along with arena game modes. This game is perfect for platformer lovers, some stages can get quite hard which made it all the more worth it to complete. Definitely recommended!
The game is super fun but the pricetag is misleading. It doesn't cost 15$, it also costs like 1-2 friendships.
Now, I only recommend this if you have friends that own this game as well. This game has almost zero players and if you sit in a public lobby, you'll be there for AWHILE waiting for a co-op player. Good game, nostalgia off the rails.
Game's goofy as hell and I love it, it's also the first game to make me experience that "gamer rage" that I've always heard about but never experienced. Overall fun and the story is actually pretty good.
How can you not like BattleBlock Theater its great platformer and fun coop game, but can be played alone. But you will enjoy it more playing with friend. Narrator voice lines are best.
Another childhood classic, i remember getting it for free on the 360 from live and have loved it since, would recommend for playing w friends or family or even yourself

This game was my absolute childhood and I still love it to this day, I played it originally on xbox 360. I wish there was more games with this silly kinda humor and story telling, super fun to play with the younger sibling!
One of the best platformers I've ever played. Both solo and co-op are fun and enjoyable, the story's humor is great, and the insane mode for both campaigns is a great challenge.
This is a childhood classic for me.

Very fun lil game. I played it with my boyfriend and its really fun to kill each other in diffrent ways then kill ourselves in dumber ways. The platforming is pretty good and the enimes dont get in the way that much. Very fun to customize your chacacter and get further in the game :D

A classic timeless game when you want to play something multiplayer with friends but with dead brains etc. Brings alot of laughter and scream. I remember playing this with my siblings back in the day and we perfected everything cuz we couldnt play any other types of game with a low end pc. Now im trying to do it all over again with my partner. 10/10 fun to play with kids too.
This game was really fun in it's prime especially the online mode,
The story is beyond bonkers and really fun overall but make sure you have patience and play with the right people otherwise its going to be a headache especially if you are relying on them to not screw up while you wait at the finish.
Played it a bunch on the Xbox
A lot of fond memories come from this game, especially Stamper as the story narrator. Used to play this on Xbox with my cousins as it's a really great game. The story is fun, the gameplay is smooth and leaves so much to beat the crap out of your friends lol. 8/10, one of my favorite party games of all time.
Best story narration I’ve ever seen in a video game, amazing platforming and puzzles, co-op play and an amazing steam workshop community. Behemoth games have a charm like no other and it never gets old.
I've played this game multiple times on several different platforms with a bunch of my friends. The story lends itself in a really humorous but touching way that, even after playing it so many times, still gets me. It's easily the best (imo) co-op platformer to ever exist, and it's always on sale so it's extremely affordable. 10/10 cannot recommend enough, wish I had more excuses to play it again and again.

It's fine.
I suspected from the start that the humour would get on my nerves after a while, and it did. Trying to get A++ on all levels when you have no idea how fast you have to complete them isn't great gameplay design.
But a solid enough platformer that I'll probably see through to an end of some description. Falls a fair bit short of the acclaim it's received though.
Extremely solid gameplay and music made impossible to recommend by its sense of humor. I'm not saying the jokes are bad, just that you can tell it appeals to people whose politics are just a wishlist of human rights violations. If you tell your friends to play it, they'll just abandon you in a cornfield with a pistol containing a single bullet
Bought this game with my christmas money, totally worth it. No regrets. I love this game it has an amazing art style and its pretty easy to get the hang of. Editor is simple no fancy stuff. The best part is it's funny co-op. 10/10

can get frustrating overtime, bu this is one of the most fun games that ive ever played. you beat a hard level, you feel so good that you just want to play more. and i also love the fact that the multiplayer levels aren't the same thing as single player and you actually have to rely on teamwork to beat the game. makes for some great friendship moments until they realize that friendly fire has been a thing the entire time
The game is amazing and ive been somewhat obsessed with the style and feel of the game since childhood but one thing thats certain and agreed upon is that the sound track is incredible
