Now, I only recommend this if you have friends that own this game as well. This game has almost zero players and if you sit in a public lobby, you'll be there for AWHILE waiting for a co-op player. Good game, nostalgia off the rails.
Game's goofy as hell and I love it, it's also the first game to make me experience that "gamer rage" that I've always heard about but never experienced. Overall fun and the story is actually pretty good.
How can you not like BattleBlock Theater its great platformer and fun coop game, but can be played alone. But you will enjoy it more playing with friend. Narrator voice lines are best.
Another childhood classic, i remember getting it for free on the 360 from live and have loved it since, would recommend for playing w friends or family or even yourself
This game was my absolute childhood and I still love it to this day, I played it originally on xbox 360. I wish there was more games with this silly kinda humor and story telling, super fun to play with the younger sibling!

Amazing to see how well it holds up and most of all is still fun at an older age.
Very fun lil game. I played it with my boyfriend and its really fun to kill each other in diffrent ways then kill ourselves in dumber ways. The platforming is pretty good and the enimes dont get in the way that much. Very fun to customize your chacacter and get further in the game :D

A classic timeless game when you want to play something multiplayer with friends but with dead brains etc. Brings alot of laughter and scream. I remember playing this with my siblings back in the day and we perfected everything cuz we couldnt play any other types of game with a low end pc. Now im trying to do it all over again with my partner. 10/10 fun to play with kids too.
This game was really fun in it's prime especially the online mode,
The story is beyond bonkers and really fun overall but make sure you have patience and play with the right people otherwise its going to be a headache especially if you are relying on them to not screw up while you wait at the finish.
Played it a bunch on the Xbox
A lot of fond memories come from this game, especially Stamper as the story narrator. Used to play this on Xbox with my cousins as it's a really great game. The story is fun, the gameplay is smooth and leaves so much to beat the crap out of your friends lol. 8/10, one of my favorite party games of all time.
Best story narration I’ve ever seen in a video game, amazing platforming and puzzles, co-op play and an amazing steam workshop community. Behemoth games have a charm like no other and it never gets old.
I've played this game multiple times on several different platforms with a bunch of my friends. The story lends itself in a really humorous but touching way that, even after playing it so many times, still gets me. It's easily the best (imo) co-op platformer to ever exist, and it's always on sale so it's extremely affordable. 10/10 cannot recommend enough, wish I had more excuses to play it again and again.

It's fine.
I suspected from the start that the humour would get on my nerves after a while, and it did. Trying to get A++ on all levels when you have no idea how fast you have to complete them isn't great gameplay design.
But a solid enough platformer that I'll probably see through to an end of some description. Falls a fair bit short of the acclaim it's received though.
Extremely solid gameplay and music made impossible to recommend by its sense of humor. I'm not saying the jokes are bad, just that you can tell it appeals to people whose politics are just a wishlist of human rights violations. If you tell your friends to play it, they'll just abandon you in a cornfield with a pistol containing a single bullet
Bought this game with my christmas money, totally worth it. No regrets. I love this game it has an amazing art style and its pretty easy to get the hang of. Editor is simple no fancy stuff. The best part is it's funny co-op. 10/10

The theater in question:
can get frustrating overtime, bu this is one of the most fun games that ive ever played. you beat a hard level, you feel so good that you just want to play more. and i also love the fact that the multiplayer levels aren't the same thing as single player and you actually have to rely on teamwork to beat the game. makes for some great friendship moments until they realize that friendly fire has been a thing the entire time
The game is amazing and ive been somewhat obsessed with the style and feel of the game since childhood but one thing thats certain and agreed upon is that the sound track is incredible

the game is a lot of fun and the style suits it well, but I'm still very disappointed by the fact that it repeatedly closes by itself, even though my pc is more than capable of playing this game, which made it impossible for me to play this game for a long time.
Tis a fun game to play with a friend that you cant see very often.
Even though I haven't played with them in a while, its still a fun challenge to play solo.
the more I play this game the more i realize im slowly feeding my addiction of slaughtering cats in a prison while doing parkour

Played this more with my best friend at his house on his xbox, but man those memories shine through my middle school years like gold in a coal filled mine
I played castle crashers and so I decided to play this one and it is fantastic, the best behemoth game, just one downside is that remote pkay doesn´t work, I hope it gets fixed soon
Great platformer game. Great soundtrack, sound effects, and sense of humor. There were times I couldn't even continue playing due to how much I was laughing.
Can be player alone in single-player, but can also be played in two-player co-op. In fact, the developers coined the term "co-optional" when describing the game to TotalBiscuit.
When you're tired of the main campaign, you can play countless user levels from Steam Workshop. If you have friends around, you can also play up to 4-player versus maps.
Playing with a gamepad is highly recommended. The game has low system requirements, and will run fine on most computers. It also runs fine on the Steam Deck.

Fun with friends but difficult after midgame. Of course if you are not hunting for 3 stars everywhere it's not so scary ;D
The comedy and the puzzle solving is top class in this charming platform wish there was more story section throughout because the manic energy of the story is great the controls can feel a little delayed at times but worth playing through to the end just for the musical ending

Tons of fun for couch co-op. Funny, engaging, and with a variety of arena modes after finishing the 'story'.
I love this game, I play locally with friends and online with more friends. I have completed the story and I still play it for fun! would recommend, - your friendly neighborhood rat
this game is so goddamn good, if you need something to play with friends this is it
it may be hard and tormenting but there are many things that make up for that
This game offers highly chaotic co-op platforming that lead to some frustrating, but ultimately hilarious, shenanigans. The narration by Stamper and overall art direction adds so much life to this colorful game.
If you really wish to test out your friendship and still have lots of fun customizing and jumping through many hurdles, definitely try this out.
This game is very good, would recommend you play this game with some friends.

I love this game. Very goofy and silly, I found it after I used to play it on Xbox (i think) but it got removed. I'm ass at the game, and I did have to adjust settings. (Thats normal rlly), and I love how satirical it is, for the life of me. Art style is funky, maybe add tips for people who are stuck, bc I'm slow. I love hatty hattington, i'm gonna hit him with a hammer.
good game, shame i basically have to do 3rd party stuff to get the online related achivements cus theyre bugged
Probably more fun with mates but even then I don't see how this could be more fun then Castle Crashers.
And maybe the level editing is fun, but I can think of so many other games with similar that are better.

Honestly best game in the known universe, not very difficult unless you are trying to a+ all levels on insane. (especially insane encore 3 chapter 8.) I also can not wait for qol update. you will love if you like platforming games.
played this game when I was a kid. Used to play this game with a friend I haven't seen in maybe 12 years now. I played for the first time since then. It takes you right back to feeling a kid.
This is classic platformer fun at a very respectable level. With a long campaign and multiple party game modes for co-op or pvp action, you are sure to get plenty of bang for your buck for this game.
I genuinely have so many childhood memories of playing this game w my brother on xbox 360 but ill spare you the details.
If you want a goofy but still genuine and fun game to play with friends then i HIGHLY reccomend this game.
