For the first entry of this game it was rough but worth playing

This reminds me of The Lost Vikings, but very cleaned up with lots of Quality of Life improvements. But the gameplay is similar--you control three different people. They each have different abilities and you need to combine them all in different ways to get through the world and solve puzzles to get past obstacles. It's a fun puzzle game and I enjoyed playint it a lot, it's not frustrating at all.

Considering that my previous reviews for the Trine series had to be deleted, in an attempt to shrug off a hacker, some sort of emotional EMP, or corrupted data, I'll keep this brief. Trine 3 deserves to be completed. The Trine 4 Nightmare Prince DLC I left off at the giant sleeping wizardry girl, where the heroes of Trine said "This is a nice place to stop."
Fairly sure Minecraft's Warden mob was inspired by an electrical and mythological monster in Trine 2.
Something something the world is better in Trine 1 and 2, at the expense of the characters. Trine 3 and 4 the characters are better at the expense of the designed world.

Innovative platformer that puts you in the shoes of mildly likable characters journeying through an enchantingly beautiful fantasy landscape. The backgrounds alone are worth rolling through the game on easy.

All time favorite series. Worked well on my linux box! Funny enough, the windows user in the group had issues.

Where everything started not from a big but from very small and unique. Combined with creative ideas and stuning visuals the series became something more. Clever puzzles and fun interaction with story and characters that pushes to its limits with every titles more and more into greater odyssey. What will comes next after that only time will tell but Trine should be loved and cherished to its core. Open next page of your steps into fairytale sprite.

King of the castle

Such simple yet surprisingly rich amount of fun, presented beautifully too with the update.

just started playing the game , really good fun , makes you think and it has a surprising addiction to what happens next. using different characters in the game to accomplish the level. really enjoyed it and will keep playing, a well thought out game.

A fun blend of fantasy and magic, Trine evokes the timeless charm of a classic fairy tale. Even years after its release, the ability to switch between characters in its platformer setting, each with their own unique mechanics, remains engaging. I’ve spent the first few hours playing in single-player mode, and it’s been a joy. Next on my list? Trying it out in local co-op
