Unimpressive. Second mission seems glitched. I took out all the targets I could find (including cameras).
Even if there was something I missed, the game could've had the decency to point that out.
i have wait long enough and still basic bugs still never get fixed, and i am sure it won't now.
two hand control is basically not usable, and if you upgrade to the later bigger unreasonably large scope you will actually have your face inside the scope because it's too large and unreasonably placed on gun.
really don't want to give this a not recommend especially that it's not asking for a lot of money and it's rather polish, but if they don't get the gun and control fix i simply can't.
This game is pure trash. The controls are not only clunky, they simply don't work. Using the HTC Vive and when it says to use certain parts of the touchpad it doesn't register correctly ( i can't get past the intro because it wont let me unload the clip). I also can't zoom in and out like it claims by pressing up and down on the track pad.
Also when I go to move it doesn't create what you'd expect (a nice arc and movement reticle), it only lets me move directly below where my controller is which I'm pretty sure is wrong. Straight garbage
It was on sale so I thought I'd give it a shot... Meh. The controls are clunky, the missions aren't too interesting, the misison breifing is pretty poor, and the missions are just frustrating and hard.
That and the whole "Don't look into the walls" thing is really annoying. With VR somtimes you accidentally end up inside of a wall, and I don't want to be jump scared because I accidentally teleported into a wall.
Maybe with time it'll be worth it, but at my time of purchase and playing I really don't think so.
not Oculus Rift Ready! Hands are in wrong position, feels like the vive controllers. Please fix this,
Also there is no turning with the analog sticks.
If you drop out the magazin during tutorial, you cant put in a new magazin.
Buttons dont work well.
Nice game, but not ready vor Rift.
Playing on an Oculus Rift. The gun won't reliably shoot when I pull the trigger and the gun is sitting in an awkward position in the hand. Not recommended.
was waiting for a sale and this week i had to try, haven't played much but so far it's worth buying but.... it says it's "oculus ready" it's not. In game hands are not placed for oculus controlers it's still set for crappy HTC controllers horrible.
moral of story, lazy devs.
This has potential to be fun time sink game but there is wayyy to much jitter on controls for a game (on brand new HTC Vive) that tries to take all aspects of sniping (angle, wind, elevation, etc). So you basically end up frustrated that you can't hit your target because it seems the game was written to be way more senstive than the VR systems can handle. When it's not jittery it's fun to try to get all the sniping details down for perfect hit. Would recommend as a good sale buy for now...IF you have patience to work thru the jitter! If they get controls de-sensitized a bit then would be better buy any other time.
There's a cheap asset store infestation in the walls. Please get an exterminator.
Not a terrible game, but really could use some changes.
The bullets have travel time, drop off, and even wind to change their trajectory! That's quite impressive! It feels GOOD to carefully aim a shot, and pick off your target at an insane distance. The physics is certainly a amazing part of this game.
On the downside, the guns feel wrong to me. Placing both hands on the gun causes the scope to jump to somewhere in my prefrontal cortex. A real shame, as it does stabalize the gun quite a bit, and would really help with aiming!
The act of having to walk outside, pick up a gun, pick up a scope, attach the scope, walk back inside, and then finally shoot the miniature inside to start a misson is tedius and annoying. While this could be great to replay a mision, showing where the whole story fits together in hindsight, it's annoying the first time though. Even just having a larger doorway so I could shoot the miniature from a distance (like a sniper) would make it more fluid.
On the topic of missions, they are varied and unique. Each seems to throw some new challanges at you, and make you work towards the goal. Really, the missions are great. The pre-mission briefing is not great. The large wall of images and text is the sort of thing I'd expect from a game like this, and even looks great, but the 3D model of the scene on a table infront of you is a very nice tough. Don't just imagine it, or go in cold turkey, but REALLY take a second to look it over! Now if it was remotely acurate to the actual mission it'd be perfect.
Almost feeling like a "the plan never survives first contact" sort of thing, the 3D model is the only real information we have and it's often totally wrong. Two snipers up here, but there is really only one. Guards in this area, but also three other areas we haven't marked! It's frustrating and really ends up with the "try it, mess up, improve plan" method that would be there without it.
Also, the goals and progress of a mission can't be tracked during it. There's 16 targets in this mission, and I hope you were keeping count. In the middle of the intest fire fight. With bullets flying past your head. (Also a nice touch.) This could be as simple as a progress meter, or a x/x targets left.
A few changes could make this game go from OK to epic rather quickly, but it just isn't there yet. If you can stand the occasional frustration, it's certainly worth playing.
This is a very good game and I definately reccomend it. It sets itself apart from other VR sniper games because it has the stabilisation feature which makes it much easier to aim and hit your target.
This game is rather fun, but I'm missing the possibility of sight adjustments. Both ballistics and wind is simulated, and it would have taken relatively little effort for them to implement this as well.
As it is now, relying on Kentucky Windage quickly becomes a repetitive chore, not to mention a huge waste of ammo.
I could recommend the game to someone looking for light entertainment, but I feel the challenge would be much more interesting if sight adjustment mechanics were added in the mix.

I got to admit, this might not be the most accurate sniper simulator out there, but it's a fun one.
I'm not a big fan of the art style but it certainly has it's charm. The gun selection is ok and there is a good variety of levels.
The big thing about this game is of course it's stabilization system. Think of it like the call of duty "hold beath" mechanic.
It reduced hand shake/Sway drasticly and makes distant shoots a more manageable task. The fact that there is wind and bullet drop in this game makes it challenging but also rewarding. The feeling you get when you score that long range headshot is great!
Overall i can recomend this. The price is at the upper threshold but i think you will get enough fun out of this.
Also pro tip: Don't try to see through the walls ;)
I'm finding this one to be a lot of fun. Especially once you earn enough to pay for a better rifle with a scope - you gotta do a few missions to earn this, but worth the effort. The challenge setting (easy, medium, etc) makes sense. Well done!
It's a nice game overall. The only downside is that with the current limited resolution on the VR headsets, aiming is pretty hard for distant targets. I'm really stuck in the construction site level.
Follows on the heels of classic stickman sniper games. Excellent stabilization mechanic for ranged shots. Looks like a lot of room for adding more content. If the dev sticks with it, this game could be the best sniper game in VR.
fun game with only one problem so far...the third level with the grany is impossible to beat!! someone tell me how and i will give a great review. but in my opinion.. the game is broke. i will be retuning it if i dont get an answer to the grany level. i tried it like 20 times.
Edit.
dev replied to my review and fixed the issue i was having by updating the game. this shows me the amount of support this game will have and that is something i can recommend.
the graphics style is alright, i wouldnt have said no to a sniper elite stylised game but
for those with shaky hands theres is a mostly unknown mechanic where you aim close to the target, half pull the trigger and the scope movement will slow and allow you to aim with better precision, i see this being a big thing in sniper games to come
when enemys have spotted you when the bullet is about 2-3 meters away, game time slows heavily into a bullet time effect allowing you to dodge them, 2 hits and you die i believe, sometimes the effect can be nonstop if several enemys are shooting at
I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I caught my self saying ok just one more, just one more so close. I liked the fun factor, the head shots are rewarding. I would have liked the use of my left hand to steady the gun rather than 2 fisting my right hand but all in all I enjoyed it.
This has the potential to be a great game. So far it is challenging, frustrating but plays very well. The only annoying part about it so far is that it occasionally has massive slow down for seemingly no reason and you can only kill people with headshots. Whilst I don't mind the challenge of getting them in the noggin I don't think it would have taken away from the gameplay if they still died with a few shots to the body (so far most move location if you hit them... Keep that in but have, say, three shots to kill them or one in the head to get the job done properly). Given how ammo is sparse on some missions - it wouldn't make the game any easier - just take some of the frustation away, especially when the bullet looks as though it hit them in the head!
So far, promising. Don't regret buying it.
