- Play alone or together with friends. Karnage Chronicles supports 1-4 players, with auto-scaling of monster strength and number of spawns as people come and go. Full drop-in / drop-out support allows you to play and have fun while waiting for friends or randoms to join your game, even allowing you to change party size on the fly.

- Unparalleled anti-wiggle system for close quarter combat. In this game you cannot tickle your enemies to death as the velocity of your swing defines the damage you do to your enemies.
- Customizable weapon presets allow for quick switching between weapons in combat, and there are quick slots for easy access to consumables like potions and food.
- Parry incoming attacks with your weapon or block them with a shield. Take full advantage of room-scale VR to dodge and sidestep arrows or magic hurled at you from afar. There are no random hit chances, all is player skill based, same goes for avoiding enemy attacks.
- Random loot and hidden treasure await. Collect coins, mine precious metals, find trash items to sell or random gear to wear. Visit new shops as you progress through the game where you can spend your hard-earned coins on new gear and consumables.
- Place items for safekeeping in your Private Stash and share these between all your characters. Your private stash is even accessible after joining other multiplayer sessions.
- Play as an archer or warrior.

IMPORTANT GAME INFORMATION
- Dungeon state is saved when you leave, including quitting the game. When you come back you will find the dungeon in the same state you left it.
- Multiplayer is not cross-platform only cross-hardware. You cannot play together with players who play through the Oculus Store. If you want to play with a friend who has an Oculus this person must be playing through Steam.

It's almost good. The controls are a bit wonky. I never felt like I was quite going in the direction I was pointing. And it felt like I'd be going slow, then suddenly accelerate forward. Awkward. And items are too annoying to pick up. I broke a crystal and the collectibles floated around all the over the place. Why not just automatically go into my inventory? You have to practically get on the floor to pick things up from the ground. I've love to be able to just point (once you're close enough) and have the item collected. The combat is fairly fun, but again, the awkward controls make melee more frustrating than anything. The bow is really fun though. Overall, needs more QoL before I could recommend.
Must play if you are looking for a cool coop experience in VR.
For anyone coming from the Meta quest native store and not sure if their pc can do "other stuff" from steam or the like, this one is for you. This one runs really well without taxing the pc like crazy, and it's fun and plays well. I'm pretty surprised this doesn't have more notoriety, I never heard or read about this on reddit threads or anything. It's not Half-Life Alyx level, but its still better than a ton of whats on the meta quest store... For me at least this is the kind of stuff I came to VR for.
Best example I can give for those who know the mainstream Meta store games is that it plays like mix between Asgards Wrath 2 and Dungeons of Eternity. It's less complex than AW2, but more engaging than DoE. Something in the middle. This should be a prime selection in the Meta store as a native non-pcvr selection, but it's not. It's worth getting here at least.

This game plays a lot like a DnD campaign (I think). A deep dungeon dive, lore to be found various places, ambushes and traps all over, several encounters with npcs who give you missions, branching paths, big boss battles etc. I really like this and the general gameplay.
Things it doesn't do well: hitbox for melee weapons and the mining pickaxe is particular about where you strike and sometimes doesn't register. The comfort options for movement are hidden in an "advanced options" section of the menu. I can't find an in game graphics adjustment, because even with my Index and running the game with Core i9, a 4080super, and 64 gigs of ram the image jumps every once in a while turning or moving and it's just often enough to bring on motion sickness for me after 30+ minutes of play.
Neutral point: the coin and loot collection system "picks up" things if your hand, sword, pickaxe, or shield touches them. It has to directly touch them, which means having a large shield and waving it in the area of the coins is the best way to get them all. I would have much rather the coins and items picked up by proximity of my body, after the 500th pot or monster shot from a distance and dropping loot in another spot it's annoying to have to run my hand controller through the air, then check twice to make sure I didn't miss any coins.
I do absolutely recommend this game to VR enthusiasts who like solo dungeon delves, defeating traps, and seeing all sorts of different cave formations. Despite the issues I have listed above the general gameplay and hints of lore I get are fun, and I play 1-2 times per day with breaks in the middle for the motion sickness. I can't wait to do my second play time today, and it's been a while since I found a game that I was excited to play again.
Holy mother of Gaben, this is the most horrible and neglected game I have yet played on VR.
Probably the best coop VR game I've ever played.
