Although i only have 2 hours i can say that playing single player, is super fun at first because everything is new but after and hour or two you start to do the same scenarios just at a different place. But the game is realistic and has cool features my favorite being customisable cop cars. I enjoy the amount of ways we can approach a traffic stop. THIS IS ONLY SINGLE PLAYER! I am yet to try online maybe its a bit better. GREAT GAME? yes. WORTH $25. No.

it's really fun to play! it has lots of customization options when using vehicles or hosting roleplays. I also love how you can customize sirens for vehicles and download sinks for emergancy vehicles such as NYFD, LAFD, NYPD, State patrol's, RCMP, and many more! the only downside is that the game has many bugs, can be very laggy, and if you host a public server you have a chance of getting raided by bot message's that fill the chat box, so i recommend that if you host a server, make it private but put the password to the server in the server name so others can still join you without getting bot spammed

It is like the gta v mod LSPDFR but without all the complicated crap. No installing a million mods in order to have the features that already come with Flashing Lights

if you're in love with cop games and playing with your bot this is the game and so much to do

First thing first. The game has many bugs. Example A you take an officer needs help mission. You arrive and then bam the cop needing help wont get out of his car. Say you get called to do a possible drunk driver mission. Well you'd think followingh them with lights and sirens might not be enough so you ram them just for them to fly across the screen. Say you try spike strips. Nothing works, cant even call for back up or have a partner currently. It's still a good fun game despite al its bugs and online is fun but it needs some work before it gets a chance to shine. Still though if you see it on sale get it and wait for it to be fixed or for modders to make it stable

This game has alot of potential, with a good variety of Vehicles and customizable Flashing Police Lights which is by far my favorite feature in the game, the AI can definetly use some work tho, sometimes Renders of the NPCs just turn invisible or spawn inside of buildings making some if not most missions RNG based if they can be completed or not. Overall good game, hope the game gets even better over time as those kinks can be worked out.

Let's you use different liveries that are mods and different trucks and vehicles.

This game involves many situations in which I had to complete as if I were doing it in real life, also there arent many DLCs making many customize options free to use!

I would not buy this garbage unless you can get it for less than 5 bucks. AI sucks, game processes graphics like its the year 2000, and the physics you ask? Terrible. You'll hit garbage cans (anything else too probs) and be airborne for 5-10 seconds. The original price of this game should be a crime.

Flashing lights is a good first responder simulator. it also has great modding capabilitys with a built-in 3rd party modding system. Overall one of my favorites would recommend!

This game has so much potential, has had heaps of content updates, but the dev refuses to fix the glitches. New content is useless when one or two of your friends glitch out so much they have to restart. This happens all the time. Falling through the floor, helicoptering off the game area, etc.

I got this game 75% off and yet it still wasn't worth it. It has bad graphics, audio, controls, and so much more. And as someone with over 180 hours playing LSPDFR in GTA V, I'd highly recommend LSPDFR over this (You'd also just have the option of GTA V too, plus all the mods you can find).
Overall, you're better with the horrid optimization of LSPDFR than this overpriced game.

It has a map copied from vice city, the phisics are trash, it looks like it was made by a 5 year old. Don’t buy it

Game is very laggy. Developers of the game it seems they've decided to continue to put in new stuff into the game without fixing the lag issues. They make promises that never keep.

it is so mid and quite underdeveloped honestly if you have the space just get gta v and install LSPDFR it is so much better

It's unique and it's quirky but it needs a lot of development (although it is still very much in development). It's a good game for those of you who like EMS, law enforcement or firefighting. While it doesn't provide much realism for the firefighting side of things, it's a healthy balance between realism and video-game.

"Hey buddy, you just blow in from stupid town? This isn't a recommendation, this is a negative review displayed as positive" -- I'm getting there.
Like I said before, there is a decent balance between realism (realistic properties such as the EMS menu and law enforcement procedures) and video game life (firefighting is very dumbed down to: Fire hydrant, supply line, attack line, ladder function, and utility boxes along the trucks working & housing numerous items). So if you're looking for something that gives moderate realism, has a multiplayer function (that's quite stable by the way), and is still fun enough to be a video game, give Flashing Lights a shot. If not, go back to EmergeNYC or try your luck at FiveM servers.. or some other poorly optimized game.

Game is addicting, minor bugs but the developers are constantly improving and adding to the game.

It's... not bad. But you might as well buy maple county on Roblox. This game is just extremely repetitive and gets boring really quickly. I'll put a template under this to kind of give an idea of what you're getting, but personally it's not worth it.

Fun to play, fun to grinde and just fun

Graphics are not good, optimisation is poor, AI sucks, physics suck, encountering suspects/pedestrians being invisible. Only good thing is the ELS.

epic wee woo game which is really fun, epic epic epic. if you like police or ems or fire you will think this game epic too. wee woo im out.

The games pretty good for what it is, I enjoy the customization options for the cars and character models. The thing that really puts me off is the handling for the vehicles, specifically the steering. I usually will use a controller for games where driving is involved like Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row, and this game does technically support using a controller but the steering is so sensitive and it doesnt exactly resemble how cars handle in real life at all. The game even detects my Logitech Steering Wheel and it does work also. However, because theres no actual gaming wheel support in game, theres no force feedback in the wheel which still makes it difficult to drive. Considering driving is a huge aspect of this game and in real-life policing as well, you'd think the vehicle handling would've been more fleshed out and realistic.

please fix the Npc pls they keep dispear for no reason and also for the person with the gun they just gone for no reason i cant complete the mission pls fix all the bugs

This game is so fun, realistic, and surprising on all teams. I love this game so much as there is always a different call, I like playing multiplayer with friends as police and stuff I recommend 100%, however there is one thing about this game. There are occasionally a bug or 2 every like while you play the game, other than that no reason not to get it.

I found it hard to navigate the city and respond to calls, but I was kind of stupid back then. At $6 it might be worth it but that other one like this looks better.

has huge potential, needs some bugs fixed and maybe some more dlcs. a 5.0 mustang or making a camero would be a game changer. love it tho maybe to expensive for the delivery, produce more dlcs and drop the price to lik $10.00 USD. i think thats fair. more animations would be awesome too!

You so called "Developers" need to change some settings if you're going for realism. There is no reason my vehicle should go from 0mph to 85mph in 5 sec. Your settings need to be changed or you will lose players, more than you have.

For all vehicles, makes them feel more realistic. You have 2 months or I will quit playing the game and tell everyone I have told to quit playing. Listen to the people willing to place reviews and you will go far. Having to change settings for every vehicle to make it feel more realistic is a big game killer buzz. Use what I recommended and you won't regret it.

This game is pretty fun and woth mods there js loads of stuff you can do and a lot of skins I recommend it and if there is a deal you should get it

in the more early days it was fun and this game held potential for being an amazing game however in the more recent times this game has become pretty scummy with a bunch of dlc's which i normaly don't see anything wrong with that but at this point they arent really updateing the game its more of pay to update especily with the most recent one being a light bar dlc like what why do we have to pay for something so simple? it's just stupid.

The overall concept is good, but has very bad performance.

Bad AI, bad framerate.

Fun with friends.

The idea and premise of Flashing Lights is great and I would be lying if I said I didn't play it every once and a while. The problem holding this game back is that after an hour or so of playing you realise just how extremely janky it is. NPCs shooting at walls, backup shooting at walls (or ghosts?) and just in-general weird AI behaviour is very prominent here.

The game is also extremely repetitive. In almost every police callout, the perp will have a gun for some reason which results in the same old shoot, call EMS, repeat. About half of the cars you run through the computer will have no insurance or be stolen as well. The in-game county has a weirdly high crime rate as a result, up there with the likes of Gotham or South London.

Props can be given to the developer for their support of this title, it's been years since release and the game still receives regular updates albeit many of the issues mentioned have persisted for many years so it could certainly do with some more thorough bug fixes.

Anyway, this game is decent time waster on occasion but it's certainly not worth £25 in its current state. If you can get it on sale for a tenner or less it might be worth your time.

This game claims to be an emergency responder simulator, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I can only speak for the EMS portion, and even that is far from realistic.

Right from the start, every emergency I responded to was a gunshot wound. Fine; but every single one was to the lower extremities. Yet, despite this repetition, there’s no depth to assessing the injury. We don’t know if the bullet hit the femoral artery, meaning the patient could be bleeding out and dying right there on the street. Instead, the game glosses over the details that would actually make this a simulation.

Then there’s the IV placement. For some reason, we have to remove the entire shirt just to start an IV. In reality, we’d only roll up the sleeve or cut it; not strip the patient down unless absolutely necessary. Speaking of unnecessary, the game also has us starting IVs on the ground, which is something that would be done in the back of the ambulance.

And where’s my partner? In real life, we never respond to emergencies alone, yet I had no backup, nor did I see an option to spawn one. I can call backup on the radio, but they do not stay with me in the ambulance. What happens if the patient crashes en route to the hospital? We’d have to stop the ambulance in the middle of the road, jump in the back to stabilize them, and completely halt transport. That alone destroys any sense of realism; EMS follows the golden hour rule for a reason.

Then there's the AI, which is a disaster. Drivers and pedestrians don’t react to sirens or lights. Instead, they walk right into the path of my speeding ambulance, instantly getting themselves killed and causing my vehicle to spin out.

Even basic treatment mechanics are botched. When treating a gunshot wound, we just slap on a giant bandage wrap. Where’s the option for a tourniquet? Why can’t we pack the wound with gauze before dressing it? I understand that this is a game, not a full-blown medical training program, but for something that calls itself a simulator, I expected at least a shred of realism. Instead, this feels more like an arcade game with an ambulance skin.

If you’re looking for an actual emergency services simulation, this isn’t it.

Now I love simulator games, this being one of them, it has true heart and tries to do it very well, however I cannot ignore the bugs, AI being dumber than me during school and traffic needing worked on. I do like this game and I will continue to play it, just need's some more improvement's and quality to life fixes.

graphics and car details are good but the AI , specially AI needs a lot of work path finding and interactivity with them and animations of players and AI

I like the idea yet the game engine and all the other stuff suck. For example NPCs are so dumb that when you force them to speed they can't turn properly and crash in every intersection, but this not the only thing also when there's an emergency and you're trying to make way for ems good luck with that the ems driver will not use the spaces and will stuck in there. And game engine, you have a sound pack from 2010's browser flash game which has that drift sound in every brake, and vehicle sounds I don't wanna even talk about it (they don't exist).

Optimization is another issue that almost everyone already mentioned so I'm gonna skip it.

So its not playable at all? I would say no. As you can see I have 7 hours (I like speed monitoring) but I guess its not going to be more than 10 because after some time nah its not fun anymore even with the mods.

I will recommend this game IF THEY FIX all the stuff I and the other guys already mentioned, but for now NO.

Kinda reminds me of LSPDFR, graphics are okay, had some multiplayer connection troubles, but other than that, the game is great.
