Bought this for the nostalgia and... yikes. Just yikes. Game is plenty of fun until you have to get in a vehicle.

been playing for a few years now off and on, finished the story, and overall can say its a very good game, the overall issues though are what make me give this a lesser score, i would say its not the stories fault that my save randomly deleted itself, or that the game has some game breaking bugs, but thats not the main issue, overall i would give it a 8/10 gameplay wise, the story is meh i like the booms better. still 100x better than 4

This game is so much fun. How they could go from this to the abomination of a game, Just Cause 4 is unbelievable to me.

could be just me but this game seemed a little short all my hours are spent trying to get all the achievements but the story plus dlcs add like 40 to 30 hours which is not that much in my opinion otherwise GREAT game

Just finished the game, the game has an okay story and the missions are a bit repetitive. I liberated all the basis and it was repetitive and boring the only fun part is the mechanics which really what makes the game fun.

Just as good as it was when it came out nearly 10 years ago. Sure, the vehicles don't control great (the motorcycles are entirely undriveable), but thats not the point.

this game is adventouros and fun your a rebel trying to defeat the bad guys theres all sorts of vehicles and you have a wingsuit and a glider oh and theres weapons all sorts if you like mechs theres mechs too!

it's a fun casual game, wingsuiting is a treat but...
while driving if you handbreak too long, it opens the parachute, resulting in your vehicle exploding.... and if you change the key binding, it changes it on every single mode of transportation, even on foot, which really ruins the experience.

The open world chaos is a hoot! A little tired traveling from place to place but defintely a hoot to play. Time flies by while working through all the different challenges.

Without gameplay, the Just Cause saga is nothing but a boring and repetitive action-packed game with a mediocre story but beautiful graphics and atmosphere. The bavarium wingsuit is this game's double edged sword. You get a lot fun and destruction capability by flying around and blowing up or shooting everything in your path. But you also make all vehicles in the game pointless. Even certain weapons seem redundant when you can fly by helicopters and tanks alike, launch three rockets and shoot the next bad guy.

I went out of my way to complete most challenges, just so I get better equipment and make the main story and liberation of Medici faster and more fun. This was the only side content worth looking, as the churches and priests that make your heat level disappear are useless when you can easily shake them off flying around for a couple seconds. And the rest of the collectibles are incredibly boring and unrewarding. The map is stunning at a first glance, but going into it makes you realize how bland it truly is. There is no point to explore or to watch the NPCs, as there is nothing to see. It makes it all feel like you are just supposed to pass it by and not look at it, because it is nothing but an illusion.

This game is great way to spend some hours blowing up red objects and flying around, but once you get to the story or the rest it has to offer, you truly see there absolutely no value to it. The writing is the weakest point for me. They try to cram so much exposition and ideas that seemed to have been forgotten. They try to force sentimentalism with characters that you've seen to little to care about, and after that they go back to lackluster comedy for no reason whatsoever, making you question the tone they were after and why they even bothered trying to create plot twists or emotional scenes.

Fun game mechanics, boring or broken everything else. Buy if in offer or if you don't mind spending your money on a game that tries too hard to make you focus on the action and explosions, because they don't want you to notice that they had no idea what else makes a game good.

EDIT: I figured out the issue was on my end not the game, make sure this game is downloaded to a system storage and not something like a MyCloud, because i got it to work tho i now 100% recommend this game
I'll leave the other review down below because i know people say they have crashing issue's so just make sure your specs are up to par, your drivers are updated, and it's downloaded to a system storage (side note i'd recommend the same for tomb raider as it was that game that led me to discovering the answer)

no windowed fullscreen, everytime you alt tab game windows iteself. most of the buttons are not told to the player on tutorial. and the default placements are horrid. this is clearly a very shitty pc version of an okay PS game.

I played a bit and exited when I finished a mission but I found out that game did not save although you can't manually save. lovely.

I LOVED this game on xbox, but its also the only game I ever played that really had performance issues on console. So much going on at once, so many explosions and vehicles and stuff. now that i'm playing on PC, Its a whole new world.

this was my introduction the the Just Cause series and i'm glad it was. Fun & Funny, but very interesting and believable relationships between your character and the side characters. I live for the bromance between Rico
& Mario.

Vanilla game is fantastic, the DLC is just icing on the cake.

Well I don't know about just cause 1 and 2 but this is fun and it is not too difficult at least at the start plus they show you the keys as how to operate things. I got this for 59 rupees using QR code and this is my first paid game (I got other bundles but this one is the first I am playing) and I am happy with it. if you need to ask anything, do ask.

this games is just like GTA but you can't aim becuase the aim button AKA right click is to grapple but other than that the game has lots of islands and NCP's and wemod support just cause 3 too.

sadly i couldnt trust this game anymore it was causing my system to gltich and my controller to not work half the time i love this game but again sadly i think its been infected with something through the multiplayer mod and it wont be fixed anytime soon so if you get this game DONT download the multiplayer mod (PS: i have played the shit out of this game on conosole but for some reason even with a rtx 2060 ti i cant seem to get smooth framerates even with overclockiing my system soooooo i gave up too bad i cant refund i was troubleshooting for too long

absoloutly insane game i love it its so good and combaty and better missions than gta v or gta 5 but nvm the name but yeah way better missions and also it has better game play and better readong but i think the mission should be getting some updates soon or yeah beacuse its not that hard and not that muuch to do in the mission but heck yeah i would i love this game

The story is meh, enemies are never truly scary, but hot damn is this a satisfying game. If you are a completionist, looking for something to play while your single brain cell relaxs, or likes blowing things up (all three for me) you will have a blast with this game!

Storyline nope, missions no fun, free roam is fantastic.

Still one of, if not the best, sandbox games available. There are so many tools and gadgets available to the player, and so many ways to approach things like outposts and towns in need of demolishing liberating. The destruction is not to the level of something like Red Faction: Guerrilla, but it's satisfying and prevalent enough to never feel like it's lacking, especially once you get your hands on something like a bomber jet or tank and make your way to one of the many bridges in the game. Definitely worth picking up if you're looking for a sandbox game that isn't afraid to let you do what you want to do.

the dlc are worth their cost and add a new feature to an already fun game expanding without rendering the rest of the game unfun. 10/10 for me even just messing around between missions is super entertaining. only complaint is to 100% the game i have to collect all the vehicles and there isn't a way to know what you have and haven't already got easily. but i don't need to 100% to have a memorable and entertaining time.

What is there to say that isn't already said? Big explosions, badass tools and weaponry, fun vehicles, and an entertaining gameplay loop with liberating everything. I also enjoy that they force you to play the challenges for upgrades to your gear, gives you a reason to do them and makes it all worthwhile.

Basically, the game is a Michael Bay movie if it was playable and good. Love it.

I've played it 3 times this year alone. Great fun. Some of the challenges are really annoying, but the DLC make up for that - taking on a military base in a mech and throwing stuff everywhere never gets old.

Why the hell do I need to be online to play AN ONLINE GAME??? This wouldn't be so much of a problem if it didn't take so long to START THE GAME and on top of that it never has my save. I'm always having to start all over again. So it's an online 'single player game' and it can't just cloud my saves??? WTF???

Once you actually play the game it's pretty fun but you just do the same ole shit in every city. Same objectives so must mission just have the same vibe. It's fun blowing stuff up and they did a great job with the destruction engine, but there are just too many other annoying things about this game as well as the franchinse since this game.

its fun to play around with the mechanics for a few hours after that, its a very repetitive game with almost no story. Go to location kill all enemies, destroy things and repeat. The Gun play is horrible, most guns you cant zoom in (ads), you literally just shoot at the enemies.

I clicked “New Game,” and the screen faded to black. The adventure was about to begin.

The first thing that hit me was the sheer scale of the world. Medici, the fictional Mediterranean island, looked absolutely stunning. The sunlit beaches, craggy mountains, lush forests, and crumbling fortresses gave the game an incredible sense of place. But what really grabbed my attention was the freedom I immediately had. I wasn’t being told to do things in a linear fashion. No, *Just Cause 3* practically threw me into the world and told me to do whatever I wanted, and from that moment on, there was no turning back.

The first few hours were spent exploring, getting a feel for the terrain, and experimenting with the mechanics. The parachute was like a second skin, something I could deploy at any time to float effortlessly across the vast landscape. But when I got my hands on the grappling hook, that was when the fun truly began.

The grappling hook in *Just Cause 3* is the ultimate tool for mayhem. At first, I used it just for simple travel—pulling myself up to ledges or launching myself off cliffs. But it didn’t take long before I realized the true potential of this gadget. I began attaching enemies to trees, cars, and even helicopters. Watching them fly through the air, helplessly, as if they were ragdolls caught in an unseen storm, was hilarious. Sometimes I’d grapple two cars together and watch them crash into each other, sending both into a spiraling dance of destruction. Soon I was liberating towns, blowing up military bases, and taking down oppressive regimes one explosion at a time. The enemy forces, typically made up of soldiers in armored vehicles, tanks, and helicopters, seemed to always be a step behind my wild creativity. I’d steal a jeep, hook it to a nearby fuel tank, drive it into an enemy compound, and then launch it into the air, sending a fiery explosion across the landscape. There was no shortage of ways to make things go boom. Whether it was blowing up power lines to take out an entire military camp, or tying a dozen propane tanks together and watching them launch into the air in a fiery spectacle, the game gave me the freedom to approach destruction however I wanted.

The world of Medici quickly became my sandbox. The game encourages you to be bold and daring. Each region you unlock gives you more opportunities to wreak havoc. The environments—ranging from coastal towns to dense forests and imposing mountains—are rich with points of interest. Each area has its own unique flavor of chaos to offer. One of the first major objectives I tackled was taking down a heavily fortified military base. It was no easy feat. I spent hours picking apart its defenses, taking out sniper towers, destroying radar stations, and causing as much noise and destruction as I could. But the real thrill came when I liberated the base. The fireworks of explosions, the sound of collapsing structures, and the sight of enemy forces retreating in disarray made the entire experience feel cinematic, like something straight out of an action blockbuster.

But it wasn’t all about destruction. In *Just Cause 3*, the driving, flying, and even swimming are surprisingly fun. At first, I thought it would be just a means to an end—to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. But no, each vehicle, whether it’s a fast sports car or a buzzing helicopter, had its own unique feel. The vehicles are ridiculously responsive, and the game never takes itself too seriously. You could race down winding mountain roads at breakneck speeds, throwing yourself into high-speed chases with enemy convoys, or take a little detour and leap out of a plane to skydive into a distant base. It was thrilling to see how much the game encouraged me to experiment with different ways of traversing the world.

I remember one particular mission where I had to destroy a convoy transporting an important target. Simple enough, right? But instead of just blowing it up from a distance, I wanted to have some fun. I hijacked a nearby helicopter, soared above the convoy, and deployed my trusty grappling hook. With a flick of the wrist, I tethered myself to the lead vehicle and, before the enemy could even react, pulled myself straight into the driver's seat. Then, with a simple yank of the wheel, I sent the convoy into a mad spiral of collisions and fiery explosions. The chaos that unfolded felt like a personal victory, a testament to how the game’s mechanics give you the freedom to be as creative or as reckless as you wanted.

The more I played, the more I unlocked. The game doesn’t hold back when it comes to giving you tools of destruction. By the time I unlocked the booster for my parachute, I was gliding across the sky at ridiculous speeds, launching myself into explosions or sniping enemies from insane heights. It was all about figuring out how to make the most insane scenarios happen, whether that was by launching a tank into a sea of soldiers or creating a chain reaction that obliterated entire military installations.

Even the side activities, like challenges, races, and collectibles, were just as exciting. They often led me to places I hadn’t explored yet, rewarding curiosity with more opportunities for chaos. Some of these activities were built around stunts—gliding through rings, performing insane jumps, or completing missions as quickly as possible. These challenges gave me the perfect excuse to test out the game’s mechanics, and they never felt like filler. Each one felt like another opportunity to have fun.

But perhaps what made *Just Cause 3* stand out the most was the sense of total freedom. Unlike other open-world games where you’re constantly being funneled into missions or guided along a set path, *Just Cause 3* made me feel like I was always in control. I could do whatever I wanted. Whether I chose to follow the story or completely ignore it in favor of causing utter mayhem, the game never judged. The explosions, the stunts, the chaos—it all combined to create an experience that, no matter how many times I played, would always be just as fun.

Phenomenal game with great destruction physics. only bad thing i would say is that the gun play is mediocre as you cant aim so its just hip-fire spraying. also if you get the game, get the sky island DLC and max out the bavarium wing-suit. I'm telling you the avarium wing-suit is the best investment I've ever made. i doubt i would've completed the game without it.

too many bugs interfere with the game, when there is a bug we are forced to exit the game and then enter it again, we can't just repeat the mission but we have to exit the game.

One of the best games I've ever played. So much variety and sh*t you can do. Blow everything up, attach people to cars with the grappling hook or fly around. Just cause 3 has it all. 10/10.

the game forces internet connection on you, wastes approx. 2 mins every time you return to the homescreen,spams you with useless leaderboard which happens to be the online thing that internet connection was used for and some times just gives you a message "cannot reach servers" and then you have to generate an OTP in a browser window, but that button isn't even visible on 2160p. Stupid decisions one after the other are the reason that this series has no traction what so ever today.
