Great game, love the fact you can destroy things in your environment, always a plus for me. I'm discovering a lot of older games at the moment that are tbh just better than modern games and this is definitely one of them. For a 2015 game the game looks visually great and makes you want to put time into exploring the world, that's a plus as the map is huge. The little challenge's they have I think are well implemented as you do them to essentially get upgrades and they aren't repetitive so you want to do them. 10/10 from me

A fun game with a lot of destructability. The story is quite simple and it can get quite repetitive. Still its a fun game, that shines from the players creativity.

Just Cause 3 is basically a masterclass in controlled chaos. Explosions everywhere — from small cars to massive military bases — and it never gets old.

The grappling hook and wingsuit make traversing the map insane but smooth, letting you set up the perfect chain reaction of destruction. There’s something deeply satisfying about watching a well-planned explosion ripple across an entire area.

It’s loud, it’s fast, and it’s endlessly fun. If you like blowing stuff up and causing mayhem without limits, this is the game for you.

i never play this game before and i buy it and discounted price and oh boy i was regret about it,at first the game is fun blowing stuff but after quite sometime the game feels stale and if the dlc weapon and vehicle is OP so if you at the beginning and complete dlc stories first you wouldnt need any stories weeapon ,and the stories is just boring ,and the biggest let down of this game is challenge some of this challenge is just impossible like very tight timing , very spesific route to go or just buggy and some of these early challenge you found in early game need end game vehicle to get perfect score which is annoying, overall i didnt enjoy it AT ALL

Don't make the same mistake I made of initially dismissing this game as just another Fortnight clone.

It's also a very good copy of Red Faction Guerrilla but instead of playing Space Communists you play as Mexican terrorists.

The basic premise is that you need to defeat the so-called cruel tyrannical oppressor Generalissimo Ravioli, now apparently he is brutally suppressing the people of the republic of Medicki, but I actually did not see much evidence of this, I suspect his real crimes are probably just being a masculine white male.

The Just Cause for this rebellion appears to be a "What did the Romans ever do for us ?" type situation as the people of the fictional Island republic of Medicki you are tasked with liberating appear to have a very high standard of living in a well developed and prosperous country.

Thankfully the leader, strategic planner and scientific expert of this resistance are all female so what could possibly go wrong ?

The amazing plan they have come up with is basically a defund the police and burn everything down solution to defeat this evil monster, apparently it will all be built back again but by whom, when and with what money and expertise is never actually mentioned I guess this is just a minor detail.

Now you may be thinking how can I possibly take on the most sophisticated and powerful army in the world just by myself ? Well luckily you are a kind of Latino combination of Batman, Spider-Man and Super man with an incredible arsenal of weapons all thanks to the wonder material aptly named bullshitium

My favourite part of the game is when you kill lots of innocent civilians the protagonist just quips sorry my bad but then all the people left still all cheer you on with fireworks for liberating them after you have made their homes, communities and places of work all smouldering ruins.

My least favourite part of the game is whenever you are going to do something really cool like blast out of an exploding volcano, intercept an ICBM and ride it like a surfboard or paraglide onto a speeding freight train the game constantly cock blocks you by interrupting the game and switching to a cinematic.

The ending is the most amazingly incredible epic legendary showdown battle when you finally defeat Generalissimo Ravioli and his entire bullshitium powered army posed to conquer the world by hiding behind a rock.

But at the end I was confused and ridden with guilt, why instead of killing thousands or people and destroying a whole nation I didn't just go to Generalissimo Ravioli mansion and knock on the door and shoot him in the face instead, but I guess only a man would think of that.

The story is whatever and the missions short. The bases and towns you take over are repetitive and samey. Upgrades are locked behind challenges of which there is too many of them and a lot of them were frustrating to do. However it is an action packed game where if you enjoy destroying things and are creative, it can be quite fun. The best part of the game were the dlcs.

get 100 hours of progress, liberating the two small islands and beating all 3 DLCS. now someone is talkign to you so you open the pause menu. now have your hand slip, and double press space. boom. 100 hours of progress, deleted. no hope of ever having your progress recovered.

If you played JC2 than you will have a problem adapting to the new keybindings for every action. Best part is that you can't change all of them f.e. ESC was permanently replaced by ctrl... who thought this was a good idea ?

Another problem that I have with this game are the slow-motion intros/exits of sidequests. You waste sooo much time if you combine it over the entire game.

The wingsuit was nice addition but ruined by the new grappinghook mechanics and that new modsystem instead of upgrades just adds to the keybind dilemma

challenges are part of character progression and are absolute unbalanced garbage. if it weren't for them, the gameplay is actually fun first couple of hours.

very fun for solo players and for playing at collage when you dont have a ride home after classes.

Very stupid, but big boom = fun. The game does kinda drop you in, I had to look through the settings to figure out what was going on at times.

really fun, game looks beautiful, lore is really good, every detail about this game feels real even 10 years after, if its your first time playing youll like it even more theres a lot of twists and unexpected events.

It's basically if Micheal Bay made a game. Explosions, destruction, basic story, and the whole shebang. On a side note, I wish untold eldritch horrors descend on the soul of whoever decided to make the game reload whenever you retry a challenge. The wingsuit courses are amazing, but you're telling me I have to sit through a loading screen every time I try to do it a little better?

very underrated game bought for 1 dollar worth every single penny

The game is quite fun, just a goofy explosive game. A lot of side missions to keep you entertained, though some movement can be buggy, or you can clip on bridges. But those are minor inconveniences compared to the rocket launcher madness you can achieve.

This game is amazing but the challenges are possibly the worst out of any video game I have ever played. Not only do the challenges require near perfection (in some cases perfection) they also have the worst mechanics known to man. There are random obstacles in your way that are sometimes unavoidable, and there are people that drive as if they are under the influence. but yeah pretty fun game id recommend getting it.

Amazing and beautiful open world sandbox. Probably the best destruction physics and visual effects. Everyone should at least try this game once. Story is okok. Gameplay is amazing and still holds up after almost 9 years. Graphics are also amazing even with 2025 standard. Leaderboards and challenges are amazing, dlc is completely worth it. Best time to buy the game is during sales. It is best in its franchise. This game was amazing 9 years ago and will still be fun to play 9 years later.

I've bought this game 3 times both on play-station(physically and digitally) and the third time finally on steam. If that doesn't tell you how good this game is especially on cocaine, then idk bro. I should be public enemy no.1 up there with Mr 9/11 himself with the amount of war crimes I've committed to both enemies, rebels and the npcs.

The only ass things about this game is the fact that you need to be online constantly to connect to square enix's servers that don't even work most of the time, half of the map is lifeless AND the game is extremely repetitive in the second half without dlcs since you're either doing terrible collectables or uninspiring challenges(im talking to you lagoon run). Playing with mods is an essential here on pc to not restrict your creativity that much.

JC4 is definitely an improvement in-terms of the map and story but it isn't nearly as fun as jc3

Is the game fun ? overall no you need creativity to have fun . Do i recommend? yes and no . Controls are terrible for pc, missions sucks, story is meh, game is repetitive, progression is locked behind challenges, no sprint or crouch, weird limitations for acquiring weapons or vehicles(beacons) and for fast travel(flare). Almost every settlement looks the same, Game itself is lifeless. i love causing mayhem games like prototype, saints row 4 but they never felt repetitive. However Sticking mines to animals, people, vehicles and seeing them fly is true pleasure

You can't login the servers have been taken down and like 30 mins into the game it crashs. Can't recommend buying the game now due to they have shut the servers down even tho you can play offline mode. Tho the issue is when you go to the pause menu at sometimes it tries to login where you have to wait a bit time before you can do what you want to do. Which is annoying as heck.

Incredible action game. One of the best I have ever played. Truly awesome freedom of movement, cool weapons, the best explosions in any game I've ever seen (except maybe helldivers 2). Some downsides are the missions are a bit simplistic and overly easy. They don't incentivize you to use other vehicles besides the wing suit to get around. But overall it is 100% a must play action game. If you like blowing stuff up and mindless fun (and destruction ... sorta reminds me of red faction but not at that level)... this is your game!

have over 300 hours on xbox this game is amazing no matter the platform, only issue is its loading screen at the beginning is unnecessarily long, fortunately there is a modification you can make to skip it, like on console.

I've been playing it sense 2016 , better than just cause 4 , good story , good cutscenes, good gameplay.

60FPS on max settings on Deck work fine. It'll drop to the 40 realm occasionally, but you won't notice it when performance overlay is off, no stutter whatsoever.
I'd recommend disabling motion blur though, it's already blurry enough as it is.

Best free roaming destruction pron of many I've played yet, even though AI is buggy as hell, but in a funny way. It's just ultra fun and blowing stuff up looks amazing and feels very satisfying. Can recommend all DLC too.

Hey Rico, I 100%'d this game on PS4 when it originally released. Blow shit up and wreak havoc in a massive, open world. Pure, unfiltered fun. Better than Just Cause 4 but still doesn't compare to my beloved Just Cause 2.
