This game looks stunning, especially considering its age. If you want this game get it on special and if you are hesitant then get the sky fortress DLC and that will elevate this game to a 10/10.

Just Cause 3 is a blast to play! It's the kind of mindless fun where you turn off your brain and just cause chaos. The traversal in this game is easily one of the best parts of the game. Swinging around with the grappling hook, gliding with the wingsuit, and parachuting makes you feel like a mix between Spider-Man and Iron Man. Also, pulling off ridiculous stunts feels like you're the main character of an Hollywood action movie lol

The size of the map is both impressive and problematic at the same time. While some areas are beautiful, the world feels empty outside of towns and enemy bases, making exploration a bit boring. Another downside is the gear upgrades being locked behind very frustrating challenges, which feels more like a chore than a reward.

After about 20 hours, I started to lose interest. The over-the-top action is fun, but eventually it bore me. Maybe I'll return someday, putting this game down for now.

Just Cause 3 is chaotic fun. If you're looking for a deep story or serious tone, this isn’t it for you but if you want to blow things up in the most ridiculous ways possible, you’re in for a great time. The wingsuit and grappling hook make traversal fun, and the massive open world is packed with military bases, towns, and enemy strongholds just waiting to be destroyed. The explosions are satisfying. That said, Only flaw is the graphics. The graphics feel outdated, with low-resolution textures and stiff character models, which make the world feel less immersive. Some missions also feel repetitive, making the gameplay loop a bit stale over time. Still, if you love open-world mayhem and can overlook the dated visuals, Just Cause 3 delivers a fun experience.

I bough the game because a youtuber used to play it when I was younger. I never had a PC until recent and I love every minute I get to play JC3. The story is a little choppy but it is still a good story. The gameplay is also fun as hell. Blowing stuff up is kinda like therapy.

Pretty fun sandbox/destruction game, with some nice additions to the grappling mechanic and gameplay.

However, for pretty much my entire playthrough, I found myself wishing I was playing Just Cause 2 with this updated engine instead.

More than the guns. more than the cars, boats and planes. More than the bavarium. Rico saved Medici by doubling the birth rate all by himself. What a legend.

This game aged well for me. This 2015 game is good. The game and the dlc is worth it especially on sale.

The Good:
* Causing destruction or making explosions are fun and satisfying
* Great beautiful vibrant world
* Good graphics
* Very fun jet gliding dlc

The Bad:
* Killing is not very satisfying, the game play feels like bullet sponges.
* I crashed a couple of times, thank fully it is not that bad because the progress from chaos is instantly saved, not sure about story check points though.
* Running out of ammo is almost commonly annoying, sometimes dying is better, just so the ammo is refilled.
* I wish the rebel drops were not very limited.

Amazing, Explosions are some of the most satisfiying in video game history. Doesn't that well on a laptop though,.

Incredible game, they nailed it! Super fun and immersive. Gameplay feels amazing and the graphics are excellent. You can re-set towns to recapture them after completing the game, so this is a game you can come back to even after you beat it. There are some occasional glitches, but honestly they are just funny sometimes and I enjoy laughing at them. 10/10 would recommend!

No game about destruction or liberation has ever reached the standard Just Cause 3 set for me. Far Cry 5 and Ghost of Tsushima got very very close, but there is magic in this game. It's cheesy and clunky at times, but the destruction mechanics are amazing, and the gradual liberation of areas through that destruction is IMMENSELY satisfying. This game is a gem, please play it

In 90 mins, the game crashed 2 times, and the second crash almost took my system with it. Disappointed.

This game is a ton of fun. The story is a little cheezy, but it is an over the top, very enjoyable action game. The movement is great and the grapple is super fun to use. I would highly recommend it for anyone that likes open world action games.

it's fun to be a modern robin hood and play with physics. also grapple gun, vehicles, and the tutorial isn't TOO bad.

Fun game play loop with fun guns and vehicles. Story was okay but we're all here for the action. Only complaint is the random encounter achievement being impossible as the encounters never appear (yes I get that they are RANDOM but still annoying they never show up, or don't work sometimes).

But I have counted all my crashed. Total = 53. There is something really broken with the game engine. Countless attempts to fix my crashes have yielded ZERO result. I also made a post in the tech support discussions where I explain what I tried to fix the crashing. It has gotten so bad I do not think there is any way I can get the game to run.
No error message. Just CTD after +/- 20 minutes. Sometimes the game ran well for hours, and then after it breaks and crashes so frequently you cannot even do any of the missions.
I love this game, but I have to post a negative review, which pains me. Buy at your own risk.

This is just good sandbox fun. I am slowly working on a 100% of this game but the gear mod challenges are difficult and can take multiple runs to get high enough scores.

This game is so amazing, one of the most fun experiences I've ever had. I'm very sad to set it free for now. As I've 100%'ed this game. I feel a good need to put it down for now. Until maybe another day I want to start another run of this spectacular game.

I've played it for years, and it is one of the best games I've ever played. 100% recommended to everyone I know. (Especially since I've gifted this game to like 3 people already too).

An absolutely awesome game! Never felt more like an action hero than when playing this. Whether it's flying through the sky at insane speeds with a wingsuit, or blowing stuff up with an arsenal of weaponry and vehicles, every single moment has been purely epic. Definitely would recommend playing this.

I played this game initially years ago on a family friend's xbox 360 when I was WAY too young to be playing this game. I loved the wingsuit and would ask my friend to climb up this big tower so I could glide down it over and over again.

over 10 years later I come to revisit it and its so much fun. I've had such a blast running around and blowing stuff up and dismantling a corrupt government one base at a time.

Also the wingsuit is just as fun as I remember it from when I was a kid.

this is possibly the best game ive evr purchased, and the best part? IT WAS THREE FREAKING DOLLARS!!!!! The gameplay is so explosive (literally) and punchy and you feel like youre in the game! People complain the story is bad, but i dont play just cause games for the story for the same reason i dont go to school to eat a five course meal, its just not what youre supposed to do! Just cause is about blowing shit up and having a good time, what more could an adrenaline jockey ask for?

The game is fantastic, it's fun as hell but my biggest issue and the reason my review is negative is that even though the game was released in 2015 it doesn't have cloud save. So a solid 50 hour save file i had, had been deleted after a power outage. And that's another thing if your PC blue screens or the power goes out your save file will just delete itself for some reason.

I never player Just cause 1 but I did try out for JC 2 and it was pretty good. I played for an hour on console. I purchased JC 3 on steam and I set my PC to ultra graphics and it looks amazing. One of the best visual games i ever played. I love the game. The first few hours were ok but once I got the wing suit it was on another level. I was hooked for about 20 Hours. Sadly after those hours the game was getting boring and the missions were all the same. Honestly tho those 20 hours were amazing and I am happy I finally bought it after debating for years.

Love this game. 95% of the time you can just use the beacon and the wreck with Mech. Only in or around water, you have to use your wings and parachute with some good old shooting and hanging. After finishing the entire campaign I had a blast just running around and causing havoc with my zippy zip line and the poor citizens of Medici. The gas stations blow up if a car hits them ;)
Best $4 I ever spent.

This game is extremely fun to play, especially with the tanks, helicopters and zipping around in a wingsuit. The map is reminiscent of Mediterranean islands such as Cyprus, with Italian/Greek influences, very unique, would recommend.

Wonderful game. Grappling around the world like Spiderman, then blowing up the dictatorship with infinity bombs. Super fun to save the nation and explore the beautiful sights in the Mediterranean island.

To unlock story modes (missions) must do the following requiments such as liberate the outpost, region and province, there is one small bugs I think, Is that when I finally completed all the requirements in "insula Fonte" the mission still locked or should I liberate one more region to unlock, Ur advice will be appreciated thx?

I've tried to get into it 4 times since I've bought it, but I could never go past few hours. Didn't know why, until recently doing 100% in Just Cause 2. Hungry for more destruction I've tried this one again. Man, this game stinks.

- Always online and constant reconnects in a SINGLE PLAYER GAME
- Hard crashes to desktop
- Sluggish movement and controls
- Awful gunplay, somehow much worse than JC2
- Steering and aiming military vehicles makes me want to delete myself
- Challenges are cancer, and some 5* are so unnecessarily difficult
- Some challenges give multiple paths to choose from, but some routes won't give you 5* even when perfectly executed... Then you have to guess which route to choose just for a chance to get 5*. Who TF thought of that?!
- The worst bike driving in gaming history. It reminds me of "vehicles" I've made as a kid in Garry's Mod, welding together a chair, few wheels and thrusters.
- Boring map. In JC2 we had jungles, snowy mountains, green plains, desert, sandy mountains, huge megacity, archipelagos, huge branching rivers. Enemy camouflage matched the environment. Here everything looks more or less the same, with couple snowy peaks.
- Taking over cities is a repetitive slog
- Many military bases are copy-pasted 1:1 and can be taken within literally 10-15 seconds
- Dialogues are mega cringe. After JC2 they've turned the "goofy" knob to the max and the game keeps reminding me of Goat Simulator. Characters don't feel like they take anything seriously and often act like children. They keep referring to people and events from past, that add absolutely nothing to the story and I as a player can't relate in any way. Factions are a joke

Just Cause 2 wasn't a storytelling masterpiece, but as a parody of USA "peacekeeping" was great. The world was silly, but at least characters took it seriously as it was. Factions were unique and had their own unique agendas and their missions and bases you took over reflected that. Faction leaders didn't ask you to steal a moped from some girl, because she made a mean comment about their hair in school...

Quick add that I've played on both controller and keyboard+mouse. I don't even want to think how painful would some challenges be using just the latter.

I really wanted to like this game. All I've got was disappointment and frustration.

The Funnest game ever i very much so would recommend this game it is so fun

The best thing about Just Cause 3 is the combination of the grappling hook, wingsuit, and parachute which made traversing the massive open world an absolute joy. Flying around and chaining grapples feels smooth and opens up endless possibilities for exploration and chaos. While the story is secondary, the freedom of movement and creative gameplay more than make up for it.

The mission is repetitive, tf with precision aiming bugs on the plane

Just Cause 3 is the best game in the series. 4 was just a boring game. This is the one you want to play.

beat the game 3-4 days after buying it. Wish the story was longer, or the story missions had larger requirements, but overall, good game, 5 stars.

JC3 is a old masterpiece which has it's own fan base including me, this has interesting story and the game mechanics is what I love about this, specially the grappling hook is my favorite and I love playing this game often and this also has multiplayer mod DLC so that you can play and enjoy all the things with you friends. Heavily Recommended

This is how you make a sequel. I played Just Cause 2 and really loved the destruction / taking over towns and instead of throwing the series in a totally foreign direction like a lot of companies do to kill their great title's sequels, Just Cause 3 is everything loved from Just Cause 2 but enhanced with better graphics and more details. Absolutely love this and is a must buy.

A very fun sandbox action game, Just Cause 3 nicely builds on Just Cause 2. While lacking some of the detail of Just Cause 2 this is still a great sandbox game well worth buying especially on sale.
