Fun co-op horror! The dev is super chill, will fix bugs, and has great ideas to grow the game! I had a fun moment when I closed the door on the monster thinking he wouldn't open it. He didn't open it, he completely smashed the door down lol
Fun little game so far, Dev is really fast on Fixing bug and stuff.
Can't wait for more content!
Unlasting Horror is made by a very communicative developer offering his input and honestly has created a very fun and affordable co-op horror game!
Fun with friends!
This game is hot garbo.
You can't even fit through more than half of the doors in the mansion. Not even the audio sliders in the settings don't work. My brain is hurting writing this because I can still hear the loud ass rain.
this game is AWFUL "111 updates" for anyone that buys this i can't wait for you to see how the settings work GOOD LUCK you're either better off not buying it or you can buy it try it and refund it just like i did lol.
This game has a lot of work ahead of itself. Here are the issues we encountered.
-Around the factory area there was a building that was floating off the ground.
-I was able to clip through the ground as well as my friend
-AI needs some work, I was able to stand in front of him and shoot him in the face while he was repeating the words "I think I hear something"
-I don't know if we were doing something wrong here but we tried to use the syringes and they didn't work
-Tried to heal a downed friend and it didn't work
-Respawn button didn't work for us
-I would do more with each of the areas as you go through the game like puzzles or more people to shoot. We were running around a lot with nothing to do.
However, I did find the bugs to be pretty funny. I streamed this on my channel(Twitch: Distdad) if you would like to see what we saw. Hope any of this helps.
vr sucks, they lied about saying there was motion control support. and the vr just has the flat screen game but displaying the same picture in both eyes

What a great game! I got scared to many times to count and was really impress with what this game had to offer. I had a lot of fun playing and cant wait to see what's in store in the developers mind hes doing an amazing job so far and truly excited to see what to come. He reads every single review and takes in all the constructive criticism to heart and it shows with his daily updates. So much potential, I'd get the game now before it blows up! Keep up the great work man I'm very happy with what you have be able to do so far and I'm definitely watching this developer closely because he's going places!!
This game was great and fun with my friends! There are a bunch of bugs but for a game in development for 3 months it is a great game overall. There is much more to come and i'm waiting on the content!
Played this game on a late Friday night. We always play spooky games on Fridays. I was so personally surprised about how threshed out the game was with only being in development for 3 months and by ONE guy! I am excited to see updates to come! The developer really listens to his audience and fixes bugs.
I played this game with friends online and even though its still pretty new, we all had a lot of fun! The creator of this game Matt is amazing and hes always open to creative critiques. Lots still to develop in the game (since its only a couple months old) but it has a lot of potential! Great game and you can tell he worked hard on it! LETS GOOOOO!!!!
A fantastic game that is only in its infancy. The creator (Matt) is a very responsive developer in his Discord and listens to every and all constructive criticism. The game is spooky, immersive, and just all around fun. You can tell there is a lot of plans for this game and a lot of potential. Replay value is high especially with the updates planned to come out. Looking forward to playing this game more (and it's even better with friends). Thank you for a great game, Matt! Keep it up!
This is a great game! If you’re a horror fan on steam I’m sure you are disappointed with the lack of content in most of steams horror section as well as the lack of support for bugs and things after launch, with Unlasting Horror you don’t have to worry about that! I bought the game just 2 days ago and there has been 8 updates since. That’s how much this game changes in such a short period of time. My first time playing was a less noteworthy experience I will admit, upon launching last night I was mind blown by how the game looked and played after those updates. Don’t lose out on being an early adopter.
This review is just like the game a work in progress...
I will update this review as time goes on in development. As it stands the game has a lot of work but the core concept is there. When I play this game in the PVP it brings tension, the new Single player game has some work but still has the tension to it due to trying to avoid the monster. The bass that the monsters voice brings no matter how many times I hear it still makes me jump or brings chills to my spine.
The mechanics of the game are being worked on by the developer at record pace, (I swear I don’t think this man sleeps) and is open for any suggestions or fixes that need to be made to this game. It's fun with friends but still at the time feels like things are missing but they are getting filled in as you read this.
This at the time being though is a game that needs alpha/beta testers, people that will provide helpful information to the developer to make that game what it can be. If you are looking for a game that is complete look for something else but if you want to be part of the development of a game pick this game up and help make this game what I know it can be.
Would recommend this game.
I'm not going to hype it as the best game ever.
What I will say, is the game is promising and even more so when you take note of the fact is made by a solo dev with no outside funding. Constantly updated and accepts feedback whether criticism or positive feedback, as is clearly looking to just make an enjoyable game for people rather than a quick money grab.
As you would expect with a release so fresh and with the lack of a giant studio team, there are bugs, but these will obviously be fixed over time with the feedback that is given, the discord is very active and helpful/friendly.
Played a game with the Dev aswell, so to add to the fact that it is a promising game within it's genre, the atmosphere of the current player base including the dev itself makes it that much more refreshing and enjoyable!
I created a Lets Play YouTube Video on Unlasting Horror, for an early release game, I found the game thoroughly enjoyable. The games attention to detail is incredible and the sound effects are amazing. You can actually hear each crisp footstep as you are trying to discover survivors (in solo) or running away from the monster (I called him George) that is inevitably going to kill you. Matt Sowards (the owner and creator of Unlasting Horror) is an epic guy and is eager to receive constructive criticism in order to produce the best horror game. I originally messaged him to discuss some issues I had with the game and in the next update he had already fixed most of them and more. The game is constantly underdevelopment and your experience in game changes (for the better) with each week that you play.
My constructive criticism is that perhaps there could be weapons scattered across the map so we can kill the monster and to fix the vendor that I found by the gate, because I gave him my $600 but he didn't give me anything in return. But the vendor did sell first aid packs which confused me because I didn't receive any damage, once the monster catches you he just straight up kills you.
In terms of the environment, I loved the night time and rain features as it added to the tension. However, that tension (for me) declined during the daytime, so maybe we could keep it at night only?
But besides that I loved the game and can't wait to play it some more!

So I don't have a lot of time in this game yet, but what I see is potential. A game that has a chance to make it's name in this genera of games. It is much faster paced than others of it's genera, like Friday the 13th or Dead by Daylight--and that is a good thing, in my opinion.
Here are just a few things, some good and some improvements that could be made:
Graphics: The game has some nice graphics. Now in some cases the animations look...odd (specifically the way the model holds the flashlight). But aside from some wonky animations here and there, the overall graphical aesthetic of the game fits very well. It's scary, it's dark, the models look good, the environment looks good.
Gameplay: Fun, to be sure. I'll update this part of the review when I've had more time with the game, but so far I like what I see.
Fear Factor: Spot on. I won't give it away, but there's times when things other than the killer scare you. I had a specific incident on the forest map that freaked me out and I love it!
Game population: So active players. I WISH there were more lobbies at any given time. The game is so new, so it hasn't had a chance to really build a population yet. This is probably the biggest weakness so far, because that means you can't just jump right into a match sometimes. As more people find this game, I expect that will change. This brings me to my final point:
Single Player: This is one thing I feel I should mention--right now there are no bots, so the single player aspect of the game is being able to explore the map as a survivor and find the different lore notes. Still neat, but if you want someone to play with, make sure you bring a friend or two to the game--or check out the devs discord, as there are people seeking games there.
The dev himself is very active on the discord, fast to make bug fixes, and very friendly.
Overall, I think this game is pretty good, and shows so much promise. And on top of that, it's pretty daggone cheap too, definitely worth picking up for sure.
Ok umm not really sure where to begin with this but so far its a middle of the road. The game has potential but as of yet i have not found anyone playing on the servers. I even started one waited the time limit and nothing. COuld be a setting issue.
I will state that this dev is a one man army one person making a game. However, many of us have not forgotten Last year and that fiasco. This game technically is in early access mode so if you dont like early access DONT DO IT. If you want to be a part of this game and its success then by all means.
I will state the the dev is VERY much involved in feedback to its players that was a huge surprise to me.
Now eventually dev says he will add bots but its harder to do. (i agree). he is working on the story line (lore) and is trying unlike some devs who create a product we buy it and it dies once they got the money.. I can name a few just off the top of my head.
Game play _right now its up in the air
Graphics - are OK i mean its a vast world, i noticed killer does get stuck on a few areas like tunnels that survivors can dash into but he cant so thats a plus for survivors.
Sound effects are actually pretty good.
Everyone knows IM hard on devs and am not changing my review due to my conversations with him, i am changing it due to the fact that he is trying and the game has potential. I will continue to revise this as i see progress.
Grabbed a few friends and had a bunch of fun chasing and slashing or attempting to escape and hiding, senseless fun where you can easily lose a few hours. As of this review there were two good looking maps each with their own unique style but I would expect more as the dev continues to regularly update.
Wow! for a single Dev game in such early access i can not recommend it highly enough, its soo much Fun, the Dev is super on the ball releasing 2 patch updates within the 4 hour stream session to fix bugs we reported in game, and the Dev is a great guy we played games with him throughout the night while he was fixing any reported bugs 10/10 will play again and looking forward to seeing how this game develops over time.
