If you don't already have Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove you should probably just get that since it contains this amazing game with 3 other great campaigns included too (and a platform fighter).
Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment is my favorite platformer of all time. Its such an amazing game to play, everything in it is so well made. All the levels are very fun to go through, the soundtrack is a bop, the story is genuinely great, and theres even more great things with this game im not including, like how you can use your scythe as a SKATEBOARD!!!

Fantastic addition to Shovel Knight!
7 hours may seem short for some people but I have a massive backlog of games so 7 hours is a reasonable time right now for me. Worth the money (I got it on sale for $4 but even full price it is justified. I will probably come back to this and get some more achievements for it when I get through some more of my backlog. This was also my first shovel knight game and I will definitely be playing the others.
Overall 9/10
I really thought all these years that a lot more people bought this game along with treasure trove, what dumbazzez, both are some of the greatest indies ever.

I like the scythe. I like the capes. I like the armor. I don't like the 2nd to last level tho, it sucks.
