So what constitutes action from the devs and admins? False, damaging accusations made against prominent community members apparently isn't. So what is?
Thought the game was good but some people are so immature and toxic.... Witnessed someone in a regiment get called a paedophile in the EU server earlier today by some guy called Gloater and nothing was done when I reported it
Game could be fun but there's too much racism and toxicity and I don't think AGS is doing enough to address it. Too many times I've entered a match where there was someone spamming proximity chat with racist songs, hitler speeches, songs about killing transexuals, songs about beating women, or someone just straight up calling someone the N word or some other racial slur. And I am not talking about lvl 3 newbies, I am talking about lvl 75 players with hundreds of hours on the game. How was it possible that they managed to last that long without anyone noticing?
And don't even get me started on the text chat, since that too is some shitty 4chan cesspool you don't want to keep enabled. You could argue that I could simply mute those kind of people but... Rampant antisemitism, racism, bigotry, and hate speech shouldn't be ignored and swept under the rug, it should be dealt with by an ingame moderation team or by a votekick system, not by a tedious and lengthy discord report process that requires YOU to give proof. Yeah AGS, you start paying me, I'll start doing your job, deal?

упоротая физика лошади, еще тяжело верхом выбирать направление для удара саблей.
Картечь не бьет даже вблизи, но зато одно ядрышко может вынести пехотинца на расстоянии 200-250 метров, интересненько как то)
Неплохая игра, но на постоянку в такое играть не выйдет. жаль потраченных 6ти часов и 177 рублей

The game is fun, but one slight issue optimization. I have a 4060 and the games runs poorly on the extreme graphic preset, 55 - 60 fps in heavy spots, and when i lower to the lowest graphics it only is barley above 65 at most times. The game could use more optimization, for it's future
Very fun game. Super simple and easy to pickup. I enjoy all aspects of it whether you larp with you captains standing in line or just rushing in with your bayonet.
why tf am i getting less than 60 heck less than 120 fps on a 3070 on this old game...played this way back then and felt like i got more fps on my gt 1030 lmao...would not buy this at all and dont even mention the bad fps in the game chat...just a bunch of bad optimization boot lickers because they love the game and will defend it even in its terrible state

New update to frontlines is has turned it into garbage. Everyone is running around with shotguns (even though the central powers never had them). Everyone plays nations like they're rambo and have no clue about period tactics; god forbid you try to wrangle them into line and actually do something to win the fight. If you want to throw your money away for garbage then by all means.
I went in with one focus in mind, entertaining everyone with music, some accepted me and some detested me. But i think that everyone deserves music. #Notallmusiciansarebad
one server in america and i had 320 ping, shit is unplayable for me in aus, also bought it thinking i could just fight ai instead but there is no option, aswell as no option to make a private server. im very disappointed i literally cant play the game.
game looks cool tho so if your in the US then i reconmend
Too much UI, trying to do too much at once and be too many things without being especially good at anything.
If you like casual, unaesthetic looking chaos you might enjoy it.
I used to, but then it got 500 poorly churned expansions and cosmetics and went to hell.
I was playing on the Gallipoli Map as the Central Powers.
Random Turk starts mic spamming Ceddin Denden, other Turk players start to form a line behind him and I join in on the conga line
End up repelling the beachhead assault all while Turks scream the lyrics
very good game suspicious of the cheating that happens mainly the usual suspects cant name the nations but sure you can guess , aiming is realistic ballistics but some cheats have aim bots usual suspects again .
Ever wished you could just stab the life out of someone with a bayonet? Ever wondered what it was like to be in the American Revolution? Or be a part of Napoleon's Army? Well... shiz. Get this so you can rizz girls up, old English style. GGs gents.
Honestly though, this is one of the best online games ever made! The community leads to fresh game play every time. The interactions are hilarious. Make a couple of friends, squad up, and best of luck in the hellish shiz of musket era combat.
Game feels like a worse version of warband napoleonic wars or battle cry of freedom. Bad melee makes it unplayable for me. The only thing it has over the other games is that it's populated for some reason only God knows.
WW1 mode wasn't great. Very clunky feeling, weird bullet dropping, grenades suddenly fall after 4 feet, respawns on maps are horrible. I'd stick to the Napoleonic wars as that was what the game was made for. Even that is a clunky mess but you might still have fun with it unlike me. Not many other fun musket games. Way better WW1 games.
Also if you are in North America there is usually only 1 full server that you will have to usually wait in queue for. Europe floats around almost full, rest of the world is SOL
AGS need to get off their Ass for important Fixes. game is Good would be better if they Bothered to Do anything with it. Past 2 updates have had great additions while also Ruining some aspects. been playing for over 2 years. Having No balance system along with making it if you swap teams you lose all Xp and kills Gives Zero incentives to turn the tables.
good devs still updating new stuff, amazing concept game, wish more games have local VOIP, battlebit was great but died fast
A class with a shotgun and armor, double buff, really intelligent game design no surprise they end up on the top of the leaderboard, good for the no aim no brain devs to fulfill their powerfantasy. 10 more maps isn't going to make frontlines any less nontent. Base game is already nontent, will be dead again. Over The Top WW1 has this studio washed.
The Orders Update took away items that players already had access to through normal class leveling and locked them behind digital currency and achievements designed to milk gameplay hours and retention.
I would not be surprised if Anvil begins selling shilling packs in a few months in the in-game store. Utterly disappointed with how much resources the developers invested into reinventing what was meant to be a secondary feature.
Best arcade line battle game on the market! Very fun and regularly receives content updates!
Perm muted for saying a gamer word once, tried to appeal it a year later and denied so I am no longer allowed to talk in this game and thats the funnest part of the game is the talking.
highly recommend for good funny moments. One thing, possible foreign battlefields? Like Boshin War, American Civil War, or add some stuff to WW1 that includes the Arab Revolt against the Ottomans?

This game is simple fun. It's my go-to game when I don't know what to play or just want to game without thinking too much.
Had a Sergeant give such a motivational speech before we made our last attempt to take back Point A.
We then marched forward, Muskets ready and sabres on stand by to smite the opposition, as we made our way towards Point A. I felt the motivational speech from the Sergeant just moments before finally start to kick in.
Myself and my entire squad died to some bum using a cannon just before we arrived to A,
10/10 experience.
I've found this game pretty decent to play as a new player, being introduced to everything. Community is nice, other than some outliers, but pretty good overall. New update felt punishing, lost everything, even If it wasn't much lost as i'm as new as one could get, but the new currency and most weapons being locked behind the new currency felt really crushing, felt like almost any other shooting game.
Fun, stress free, and easy to play. The VOIP is always really entertaining.
Its a fun game and if you like socialising it could be your game to go
Forced to play this game against my will at musketpoint, but eventually grew to like it.
With over 1000 hours of facing the unspeakable Napoleonic horror of Holdfast, I can say I able to make lots of friends and connect with lots of amazing players from all over the world. Whenever I'm having a bad day, i knew i have to log into Holdfast. As nothing is more satisfying than bayonet charging at enemy lines alongside with fellow comrade in arms while committing a war crimes and crimes against the humanity (as far as I'm concerned, the survivor can't testify u if there are multiple tri-bayonet wound in their back). This game also has naval mode too, where you along with fellow seamen are helplessly forced to watch your ship going down without doing much damage to enemy ship.
The current state of gameplay and contents is alright but definitely need some more improvement and updates (including new factions like Ottoman or the Spanish). Some server like Line-battle need to bring back the cavalry as without them the gameplay and experience can be a bit dull. Nevertheless, the developers of this game are super friendly and laid back, always ask for suggestions to improve their games.
The community and players is the main reason why I continue to play this game since the early days. What makes this game even more "special" you may ask? = Proximity voice chat. Give this game a try, you might start to like it and If you have played Mount and Blade NW, you will like this game too.

Hey everyone I have been playing off and on since early access came out and I enjoy the game play and the public line battles but I dislike being part of the regiment because I feel like that is a full time job to me and for some reason I can hear other people during public line battles but not mine and I can't talk in these battles as I need to able to give out orders during the whole battle so can you please help me out with this or steer me in the right direction thank you
really enjoy this game. the community makes this game a sure bet for a fun time and a good laugh at the very least.
It's a game for gentlemen scoundrels, and manbaby trolls in equal measure. You can be charging into a gripping fight with shouts of huzzah one moment, images of Frederick the Great and Nelson in mind, when suddenly a squad of Frenchmen charges in, somehow killing 3:1 thereby breaking your line-- all this while playing Euro-trash techno with unintelligible internet memes mixed in. It's a unique experience, and one no other game has given me.
I've played this game off and on since the early days. One thing that hasn't changed is the utter ridiculousness that happens in proximity voice chat, which often times is rather humorous. I do have some criticisms (with the recent update, having to unlock some things again) but overall it's a fun game with some funny people.
I guess it's fun, especially when you have a nice regiment to hangout with.
If you've played Mount & Blade NW Mod then you'll love this game.

Great game cause its easy to get kills and its mostly full of people who cant hit the broad side of a barn.
I played this game for a few years only to have the game developers delete my progress in an attempt to introduce some kind of "currency" into the game
Ultimately if you are on the spectrum to such a degree that you have no possibility of a life elsewhere then you might enjoy this.
However if you are one who "touches grass" you'll feel misplaced among so many terminally online losers.
At first you're like "oh these idiots are harmless & fun" but like the gremlins you begin to realize its not some kind of character they are playing for the game but rather the truth of their being.
It's really them.
This software was basically a Napoleonic themed Advertisement for Contraception that i played.

Latest update took away all previous progression and cosmetics, it has also locked all weapons behind the grind tree. So now as a British soldier I have to use the French rifle. Clearly they have forgotten who their player-base is.
Very fun game pretty intense and I love the variety of maps.
Great game, latest update is terrible. Removed unlocks and historical weapons to push in game money.
New update changed the unlocking system. Stuff people have unlocked for years became locked overnight because of an update that introduced a currency system into the game.
Devs dont care about the player base and what they want. They know they have a captive audience and they do what they want regardless of the players. Recent update full of bugs that require restarts to fix.

Yes and naval is more alive than WW1. I mean both of them are like dead corpse in publics.
Sometimes they rise up from grave (naval do its more often than ww1).
Now you can see million of people completing order in chat. Its not like AGS could wait a bit longer with update so they cant fix it. Mute bug is still there. After year ?. I don't even know now its here for so long that i got actually use to it.
