Gravity Vector is a challenging game where the player's main objective is to reach a wormhole aboard a capsule, while facing different obstacles such as planets' gravitational pull, hostile entities, asteroids and more.
Gravity Vector is a game simple to understand, but hard to master.
Here are the basic aspects of gameplay you'll have to deal with:
-Take a look at the level overview map in order to choose the best course of action.
-Point the direction and set the initial velocity of the capsule launcher
-Avoid different dangers such as planets' gravity, asteroid fields and other hostile entities, all while keeping the initial planned trajectory in account.
-Use gravitation of planets to perform a gravity slingshot.
-Collect goodies around the level and discover secrets that could unlock new features such as new levels and upgrades for your capsule.
-Reach the Wormhole
-Get in-game currency (NOT real money) as reward to get upgrades for your capsule such as thrusters, shields, guns, paint jobs and more.
While upgrading your capsule by adding modules may result in a more powerful vehicle, you'll also end up adding more mass.
In physics, this translates in gaining more momentum, linear and angular.
If you add a larger fuel tank, it may give you more thrusting time but it will also make its inertial velocity more difficult to contrast.
There will be secret levels to be discovered and features to be unlocked.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

I've had Gravity Vector on my radar for a while, but only just got to play it today. I swallowed the entire first set of levels, and it was amazing. But I agree with one of the other reviews, the intro and tutorial really needs some work, if you want to appeal to a modern audience. But I'm fine you don't!
It's really a joy to fly through gravity and control your ship. I might hookup my joystick next. Can I do that?
OK, right up til two Snakes level.
Then the lack of manuevering thrusters and keyboard inputs really shows itself. Shame as it was fun up til then. Simply put you can't turn the ship fast enough for complicated course correction making this level close to impossible unless i'm missing out on some controls?
dose anyone else have the problem with this game where you go to load it and it wont let you click past the tutorial screen? looks like a fun game imo but i just cant seem to play it lol (i'd recommend this game if i was able to play it , but as for no i would not recommend it )
I didn't play much yet but it is a game with simple but good physics and once you get used to it. You just have a good time !
I have been trying different paths to reach the wormhole on the same map and it works :D
You just go your way and fix it if it doesn't work.
I really hope some map creation system or multiplayer mode could be added soon and I could spend weeks on this game.
This game is actually pretty amazing. A physics based spaceship obstacle race, what a great idea!
I don't have much playtime yet, but that is just cause the game was only released just now.
Positives to the game:
- Basically doesn't need any resources
- Has great animations and models (The game looks amazing for an Indie developer)
- Fun concept of racing around in space and using gravity to get the optimal route
- Complex and rewarding gameplay mechanic (you unlock ship upgrades by playing levels)
- The tutorials are pretty good and show you how the game works
- You feel really good when you manage to beat one of the harder levels
Negatives:
- Takes quite some time to load when installed on an HDD (for the startup around 10 seconds of black screen)
Conclusion:
If you are interested on obstacle races and interesting mechanics, you should definetly get this game and give it a go! Would buy it any day again :)
The game is well balanced between simulation and arcade, it gives fun to all kind of space lovers. The continuous challenge and reward system gets you to want more and more. Recommended!
