I have a stiffy for the soundtrack(s). I just wiish they were at least 320kbps mp3 or FLAC.
This game will not let me use my XBox controller even though it lets me select it in the pre-load game settings screen. Once I get in game it defaults to keboard and mouse and will not let me choose a controller. Based solely on that have to say this game sucks majorly. Its 2024. Get controller support people!.
I used to love Xtreme G on the N64 which was why I got this one. too bad.
I had this game on the N64 as a kid. I loved the first game passionately. This one is the worst of the series. But it was on sale and I was curious if it was as bad as I remembered. It is. This game sure does love to bring you to a complete stop and point you in the wrong direction where you lose even more time getting the bike to turn around. No other game in the series does this. It was worth the small dose of rage nostalgia but I wish they would do any of the other 3 games.
I used to hate this game because I hated the way the default controls were because 1. When I entered a race with the controls set to xbox, the game ignored all controller inputs and I had to close the game by pressing that stop button and 2. I couldn't get used to the keyboard controls. but when I used steam input translation to map my logitech game controller keys to keyboard keys, I then got the hang of the game easily because of the controller controls. I now regret hating this game. Sorry for hating you XG2 :(
