This game refuses to deal with hacking. Don't waste your time with this game. I bought this game before it was free to play and there was hacking then but now its ridiculous. I'm willing to bet that PUBG Corp/Krafton sells the hacks as well to keep this game alive. If they were serious about stopping the hacking/cheating they would issue hardware ID bans using CPU and GPU ID#s.

Loaded this up after 50months of not playing and its just as good as I remember it. Had a blast introducing some new friends and watching old early access highlights between matches. We even got a chicken dinner playing in a normal lobby with 3 out of 4 of us having never played the game.

This game made me feel like I am a Christmas present for someone else. Every time I find good gear, I get killed and someone else takes it. It seems that, minimal travel and constant hiding is the best way of winning the game, IF YOU SURVIVE the 1st 3 minutes.

This game shoud rebrand in "RONDO" it's the only map we fuckin' playing everyday, at least 10 times in a row played same fkin shity map

Land, loot, die to a bush camper — the PUBG experience. Sometimes you feel like John Wick, other times you get one-tapped before you touch the ground. 100 players, 1 winner, 99 salty people. GG.

This game has always had its issues. I try not to post reviews. But because I understand what goes into developing a game that is popular. That said…

This game still has a massive cheating problem and the developers choose to ignore it. I have lots of hours in this game and can normally tell if a player has a nasty flick or an aim bot. It’s typically harder to detect the wall hacks.

I will use the developer provided options to report cheaters. And watch replays. With overwhelming evidence i only achieve 1-3 day temp bans on known cheaters. More than once I will get the same person banned for the same result. I’m sick of supporting a game that encourages cheaters. Not to mention the number of players from other countries using a VPN to get into US lobby’s.

Take this for what you will. Im addicted to a game that has devs that hate the small people. Get it, or don’t. But fix this fkn games hacker problem.

No Indian Server in spite of many requests... we get very high ping and makes it a very poor game play experience for us. India has a huge player base but somehow the developer don't want to start Indian servers. Don't play.. if you're from India

Poorly optimized. Able to load this game 10 years w no issue. Now, I can't even run it at the lowest settings. GG

This game has become UNPLAYABLE. I can not even join the game. "Network lag detected" no matter how fast my internet is.
When there is no "network lag detected" message, the game stutters and freezes ALL THE TIME.

The downfall was progressive; first (about a year and a half ago, or so) the game started freezing and stuttering every time you shoot a gun (which makes managing recoil impossible); second (a year or less ago) you can not even join a game (let alone play).

No matter the PC.
I tried 3 different PC-s with low, mid and high end specs and NONE were able to run the game. Every single PC has the SAME PROBLEMS. No matter the settings (low, mid or high), the country (I tried with people I know from different countries), the network speed (slow or extremely fast, cable or wifi) or the PC-specs(low, mid or high end); the game just wont work.

So the GAME has something majorly wrong with it. When the game went free it has become a pool of cheaters and than it slowly became completely unplayable.

I played this game for a while, so this is coming from a long time player. The best time was when the Haven map was around; the best map. You can actually play with all kinds of weapons on that map (even snipers early game). But they removed it for some odd reason. And cheaters were always a big problem. I have videos of cheaters flying across the map, no clipping through things and aimbotting (whole squads of cheaters) and they were never banned. And even so, the game was at least playable, unlike now.

Great game, Just need the cheaters and abusers to be banned more often. Reporting is key ! :)

Just overwhelming amount of cheaters in game. Since the game is free folks who do get banned just make a new account with a nonsense name and keep right on cheating. Its truly awful to play legit knowing that if you don't actively cheat then you have basically zero chance of winning anything. Its a shame really

Well, I'm not the best player, but considering the years I played this game I can describe its current state for players that are considering to play it for first time or return to it. There are currently 4 types of players:
- cheaters
- players who stopped being human and are like aiming robots playing 20h per day
- tactical players who wait inside bathroom or some local plant on some remote hill waiting for 15-20 min only to shoot into your foot
- cheaters
- and random gamers who try, because this game used to be fun, but can't literally compete for longer run, but have stable ppl in their team, so they play to talk with them

So if you are cheater and want some challenge to play with other cheaters, then this game is for you. Especially when publisher is just milking this game, and isn't interested on stopping cheaters, as when the cheater is someone spending theirs parents cash to buy skins or worse theirs own money, then he is ignored by them.

Its now 2025, this is just another PVP game on PC that is just infested with cheaters, seems like the developers today just love watching the legit player base get bullied by them, its so easy to sort the problem out but making money is more important than helping people, corruption at its finest, boycott it and let the cheaters play vs cheaters and see whos software wins, robot dummies across the board 2/10

The amount of disrespect to the community of players that don't cheat is insane. I absolutely love waiting in the lobby for a game, then landing and getting absolutely shredded by a naked 7.62 gun that has zero recoil. The best part is, it sends me back to the lobby to wait some more. At least then I get to enjoy my favorite aspect of the game, which is the lobby. It's the only aspect that doesn't have hackers.

The Hackers are rampant on this game. and the developers even though say they are banning these people there not going far enough to make sure these players cant get back in. no mac bans no IP bans nothing. I do not recommend this game at its current state.

800+ HOURS, Played this game since Beta. Have watched and played it while it evolved. Spent money and countless matches with friends. But don't buy a game that is going to AUTO BAN YOU FOR CHEATING WHEN YOU'VE NEVER USED A CHEAT BEFORE!!!!!!!

I was afk in lobby after playing a couple casual games and came back to a glitched screen. Restarted the game and got a ban for cheating. Submitted a ticket, but they'll probably ignore it expecting me to just buy the game again or something. Don't buy it. If you play it, don't spend money on it. If you care about your stats or game history, give it up and quit because apparently this happens to a lot of other people.

Ridiculous.

Game is riddled with cheaters. Not worth it to play. The only way you can avoid cheaters is by getting to level 80, after which you have to verify your phone number to play ranked matches. Which is good, in theory, and would definitely get rid of the cheater problem.
The only issue is that nobody plays ranked, after a grueling experience fighting through cheaters to get to level 80, I queued with my friends for 25 minutes to find a single ranked match, it never happened and we logged of. I will never touch this game again. The developers are money-hungry trash, replacing humans with AI to deal with cheaters with 24 hour bans, if at all, and I hope they go bankrupt.
They change the name from Player Unknown's Battlegrounds to PUBG: Battlegrounds. Which means Pee-U Battlegrounds: Battlegrounds.

TLDR: Infested with cheaters, lazy, greedy devs, toxic playerbase. Stay away.

The gun battles, the car crashes, the random stuff is what makes PUBG great!!

Definitely change the theme of this game to Cheater Nest, and Dress-Up Game from Battle Royale. Lolz. No improvement throughout the years. I regret buying this game years ago.

Its 2025, game is full of cheaters. And when you report somebody who obviously used aimhack or wallhack he gets temporerly banned for one hour. And then he will be back in the game. Really developers? Game is unplayable at this point.

After Game It takes a long time to go to the Lobby.

You guys should be ashamed that there is more players to mobile PUBG than the actual PC PUBG.

I have not played this game for some time and for good reason.
1. Way to many hackers
2. lets run around for 2 hours of real time, not see one person and get the best gear that you can get, get shot one time with a 360 no scope by a hacker that gets nothing but wins time and time again.
3. If your a developer and decide to make a game that makes millions in micro transactions you should not ever make another game again.
This game is not for me anymore and I refuse to waste my time on it.

Amazing gameplay but the absolutely terrible optimization. Had to start launching the game multiple times for it to even load and not it wont even launch for me anymore. Tried everything. Just spikes my CPU to 100% until it crashes. Insane.

Amazing game, but also ridiculous. Played my first few games. Knocked a higher level player, rage reported and I'm banned for "cheating". Absurd. I've never cheated/hacked before, don't know how to. Have thousands of hours on console, no issue. Only been on pc a short time, only started PUBG this week, and this happens

I've been playing this game since 2018, and I really enjoyed it back then. But as time goes on, especially now, the game has just gotten worse — unstable, laggy, tons of input lag, filled with trash battle passes full of pinky stuff and it's getting more and more... gay. I’m probably uninstalling the game soon.

really bad game, mono sound you cant tell where you getting shot from. and really poor servers mostly bots are running.

Can't select map. Game is flooded with bots. Body armor and helmets are just for show, they don't reduce damage. Small caliber SMGs and HANDGUNS make more damage than bigger caliber assault rifles. "Skill based matchmaking" in this game is a joke. Game decides whenever you shot is a hit or not, also determines the damage. If you value your nervous system you'll simply not play this game.

After launching years ago, I continuously find hackers, aimbotters, wallers, and cheaters in almost every map i join. If you want yourself to be frustrated by continuous South East hackers and ruin your game, be my guest and play it. Loose your mind over every death you watch on your death cam, your attacker always look at your direction in close proximity. Sound sense is the worst, cant hear anything from enemy running to reload or whatever. I wont recommend playing this. Thoroughly frustrated by hackers.

After 3200 hours of ranked games and really trying to scale I decided that I will uninstall this game because its full of hackers and noone's doing anything about it...its sad bcuz its a nice game but not worth it! AVOID THIS GAME

This game has, from day one, had issues with cheaters and incredibly poor ping. They have made some progress with the cheaters, but since the start of its 8th anniversary rubbish earlier this year (2025), it has had atrocious ping for Australia. Playing with mates from Queensland, South Australia, and Victoria we are all experiencing anything from 120ms ping when we're stood still in the corner doing nothing to 350ms ping when we're in a gunfight (for reference, gunfights are sort of integral to the game and kinda need to be lossless).
Up until this point, the game has been generally playable and I would have recommended it as my go-to battle-royale, but since the start of this year, it has deteriorated to the point of unplayable and it needs to be fixed. Krafton claims to be "concerned" about the lack of players on the Oceanic server but continues to show complete and utter disdain for them.
Instead of giving me a new anime-type skin that costs $10-$20 real dollars, may I have some bug fixes related to connection and performance issues? Is it too much to ask that a game that relies on decent online interactivity could have decent connectivity services?
Just because a job is hard doesn't mean you have to do it badly, so please, if you actually give a damn about your players and want to keep them/grow them, fix the actual issues, I'm sure we can live with the next "Ponytail clipping through chevron" bug that comes up.

Considering its a free game, it out does most games you pay top dollar for. physics are incredible. worth the download 100% very fast paced.
