You just ran into the famous idol, Lilypad Lily! Will you help her or hurt her?
You wake up on the side of the road. Upon opening your eyes, you find yourself looking directly at the famous pop idol, Lilypad Lily! But something is amiss. With each decision you make, personalities, histories, and outcomes take dramatic and wild turns. Will you help Lily find her home? Maybe you'll become her stalker? (Or perhaps she will become yours!?)
Try to uncover the true ending to figure out what is behind all of these strange happenings.
Lily's Day Off is a visual novel which puts the player in the position of the main character. You will play through the game and make choices as you interact with Lily, the famous pop idol sensation.
However, this is not your typical visual novel where each route gives you new information on solid character personalities. As you make choices and progress in this game, your actions drastically change the character personalities, experiences, and outcomes.
There are 16 endings in total, each with a completely different theme.
This is a comedy visual novel. There are no explicit scenes. There is, however, some violence and scary scenes.

- Listen to all the music in the menu!
- Experience endings again directly through the menu!
- There are secret menus to be found!

Lily's Day Off isn't a "bad" game. I mean, it's got a paper doll for a main character, blurred stock backgrounds, and the best of Kevin MacLeod, but it's cheap, not flawed. Honestly, it's more weird than anything. That said, I got a few chuckles out of the premise and wild plot turns, enhanced by some silly dialogue. It is kind of funny that the age-ambiguous main character is perving over a middle schooler who looks like an elementary schooler. The dress-up options push the joke into questionable territory, but the outrageous scenarios help to defuse the awkwardness.
However, let's not kid ourselves, there's barely any game here, certainly not enough to be worth paying for. It took me exactly 30 minutes to read the entire thing. It's not exceptionally witty, just mildly amusing, so I'd say it's worth a dollar at most, and that's pushing it. Not even the secret menu's max-level of click sparkles are worth a purchase.

Nothing deep, but cute and meta, with it's only real flaw being the lack of depth leaving you with an immense thirst for more. A lot more.
I love this game. It has brought back so many memories. I remember when I used to play it on my mom's phone XD

Cute little visual novel. Originally played on the play store in 2017. No nudity outside of swimsuit outfit ig and has some funny moments in it. Overall a 7/10
