I love the party hard games! Worthy sequence to the title.

My girlfriend and I have discovered the ultimate couples' bonding activity: mayhem and mischief, all from the comfort of our couch. This game is a masterpiece of split-screen chaos. Nothing says “I love you” like distracting a guard while your partner sneaks in for a quick stab session.
The strategy? Simple: one of us acts as bait, running from the cops in a glorious rampage and finally probably gets nabbed , while the other pulls off a stealthy massacre and bails the prior out by sneakily eliminating unsuspecting (but clearly doomed) napper.s Romantic, right?
But the pièce de résistance? Blowing up an entire dance floor of party-goers and then gleefully doing the disco finger over the wreckage of our shared "success." This game has redefined “date night” for us.
If you want a game that will have you laughing, scheming, and questioning your moral compass, grab your player two and dive in.

While it doesn't have the charm of the original Party Hard, the game is still fun but there are some stuff that should have been improved considering this is a sequel.
The cops AI is bad, basically if a body is reported sometimes they would magically guess that it was you and just know your location, also cops are invincible and unstoppable.
Coop is fun but with the invincible cops and revive timer mechanic it gets really bad when a body is found and it almost always means u have to restart.
I have seen a lot of people talk about bugs and crashes and the coop not working but honestly I did not encounter any problem until now, maybe they've been patched, but for me at least the game works great,
Regarding the new stuff, the graphics are great, the maps look good but I feel that there isn't the same creative freedom anymore like in the first game. For most of the items you find you will have no idea about how you should use them.
But yeah fun game, you will mostly enjoy it if you liked the first one,
but if you haven't already, just play the first Party Hard it is a masterpiece.

love it when ai can see me from across the map and my own placed traps will instantly kill me (also why is the main character a shitty vigilante now hes homicidal freak But Ok)

When looking atthe video the game seems promising as it change from the classical 2D level design to 3D voxel.
You have nice music in the background and various way to kill people. Main objective is not to simply kill all people but choosing between this option and a special mission.
From reading this, you might say this version can only be good right! But sadly it's not true!
- Most traps have now a countdown that is had to synchronise with
- You can craft items but most of them are useless or doesn't have a real impact on the game.
- You character is extremely slow (really) and each hit successfully received by your character will prevent him from running!
- You have low stamina and all cops are super quick!
- Police come by two and wait at your previous spot preventing you from backtracking.
- You can spam kill police with the vent but can use you ability on them?
- Ability is weird as it kill a lot of people but the first one kill is directly reported thus ability is mostly useless
Basically didn't really feel any pleasure as I experienced with the previous one. Just avoid it!
- They had some vehicle that can be used to kill people but ow boy they are slow and hard to control (useless thus)
- Not a lot of variety in term of song (it's party hard or not?)
- You can hide bodies in given place (like a rubbish) but it doesn't inform you when it full, you've to go near with a body to realise it's full
- Bug, yeah there are some. Game randomly crashing for no reason. Guard killing through tunnel escape.
- They had some randomness (like position of some items) but it change a lot the game and sometime screw you as you don't have the same items than before and can't thus complete the objective.
- Fire propagation and mechanic is broken! You throw a molotov on a crate, crate will sometimes burns and explodes sometimes not
This game is a big disappointment and terrible sequel. Constant bugs and awful level design here and there really ruined this game for me. Do not buy it unless you like softlocks because some objectives may literally become unachievable because of bugs, getting seen through walls, reported/arrested for nothing, oh, and did I mention that for some reasons, npcs WILL "magically" go to places you hide your victim's bodies for literally no reason even when you hide them in a spot where they usually don't go?
this game awoke my inner beast
When I first started playing it was really fun but I have yet to complete the last few levels simply because of how tedious it is. If you get spotted once you're done for and I don't mind that at all but the kill animation takes forever. It's pretty fun overall though I'm just impatient.
Really boring and annoying compared to the first game, the better graphics don't compensate for the lack of funny things
This game is totally unfair. Achievements are buggy, you have very to little movement as you evade the cops (though this has been the case since the 1st Party Hard game, though I was expecting a fair chance since it's hard to evade the cops especially with the rare item spawn).
Story and soundtrack are still great, it's the same with the 1st game. They also retained the pixel graphics that made the 1st game popular and iconic and the UI had some facelift as well. I just don't like the font being used as it doesn't fit the pixel graphics theme it's trying to convey. However, the level designs were a downgrade. There's hardly any variety as you'll most likely be on land - there's only 1 level where you are at an elevated place and though the level design for that is great - compact and has good placement of traps, the other levels just fall short for strategies.
I already completed the game before but the 3rd to the last achievement that I got only popped up after beating it for the 2nd time. It's funny how I got the last 2 achievements accidentally, because I didn't need to complete all hidden objectives (it was at 96% but the achievement popped after completing a hidden objective prior to 96%) and that there were 2 levels were I didn't need to kill all party goers yet the achievement for that still popped anyway lol. So I guess I can say that the time I grinded getting all the achievements in an uncanny way was worth it.

Party Hard 2 is a direct sequel to Party Hard - a game in which you murder everyone at various parties, because they're keeping you up at night. This via use of traps, stealth, and brutal stabbing.

Most of them are for doing various obscure tasks, which the player cannot know about unless looking them up specifically.
The rest is for basic stuff like killing 5 people in a row. (Doable via workshop.)

Overall opinion
This game feels like a distinct downgrade from the first Party Hard. The enemies feel unfair rather than challenging (infinite sprint, can't be stabbed first, stupendous trigger ranges...), same goes for police who now come in teams of 2 which is blatantly unfair as they're almost impossible to stop now that both traps and your items have been nerfed.
The levels are incredibly large, but also incredibly bland. Usually revolving around a few simple tasks like throwing molotovs on some crates, or killing a few enemies. Killing everyone feels like a slog and considerably less doable as dancing will no longer shoo they away from you. Traps feel underwhelming and will only catch about 2 people usually. And the traversal of levels feels slow and boring.
Mechanically speaking you now have "instinct" which is just an area of effect kill zone you can summon (this is never explained) that will kill most enemies. This would be great if people weren't always clumped together in massive groups, seemingly capping out the instinct kill tally. -- For some reason this also doesn't work on cops and cleaning ladies...?
All in all I just feel like this game got thrown together without much testing, losing the charm of the first in the process. I cannot be bothered to actually finish this one as the levels are inherently unfairly designed and unfun to play.
tldr;
Watered down version of the first game.
Should you buy it?
I don't recommend it, especially not for the greedy price of 20 bucks.
