Game description key-points: enemy wave shooter
Overview: disappointing game as result of bad design and game process QA.
Graphics requires improvements.
Game is not fun and doesn`t provide entertainment.
really fun wave shooter only on lvl 2 so far about to put more time in but the only thing i dont yet understand is the achivment for unlocking the engineer class meanwhile i had him since the first time i started it up
So, I got this game basically for free. It was on sale for $2. At that price, I don't see a problem with this game. However, the game normally sells for $10, which is the perspective I'll be writing this review from.
The enemies just become big bullet sponges, and there are a lot of them. Not to the point of being unplayable, but to the point where you're just standing there, aiming at this big guy's head and pulling the trigger as fast as you can and holding your hand over your head because that breaks the reload mechanic.
I read somewhere there are "RPG Mechanics" but I have yet to see them affect anything. There are several levels, but as far as I can tell they just throw more variables and bigger baddies into the mix while still maintaining the same simple and tedious objective of protecting at least one stronghold and a small shuttle. That being said, the only reasonable class, of the three, is the dual-gunner. That way the sponges you're dealing with go down a bit faster. Of the ten different enemies I'm pretty sure there was only one that is ranged, the rest being melee.
The game offers no way to turn your character around, so unless you're running 360' tracking you're kinda screwed. The tutorial did go over everything you can do and, aside from the over-the-shoulder reloading, the controls are reasonable and simple. The level design isn't the best I've ever seen but it's pretty low on the list. Even the main menu is kinda messy to look at, though the ships flying outside the window are a nice touch.
TLDR; The enemies are spongey and repetitive, level design is "meh," and the price is too high for the three missions you get.
The game has only three levels but they all have unique elements. I very much enjoyed playing this game and wish more content was added.
4/10
Another VR wave shooter. This one seems above average, but I'm bored of them.
A boring game. and not automatic shoot. your finger will broken.
This game is so fun ok so let's get down to the basics. The graphics are crisp and nicely done. The game play is very easy to understand and control however I do not like the reload system of putting your weapon behind your head and doing the same with the special attack. That being said the weapons fire is very accurate especially since it has a laser sight. The monster's require more bullets as they get bigger. The story line and interface system of teleporting between your to base stations is great. If you get motion sickness from playing vr you won't in this game because its teleporting to base stations and then just turning and burning. This game was well thought out and done well I reccomend you try it.
Not fun. Very simple. "Played" for 5 minutes most of which spent listening to the text to speech engine blah blah blah no way to skip. Finally I was in a base where big giant monsters barrelled towards me which I shot at with bullets the size of beach balls. It would be hard to miss. Only movement was to teleport to another base where I could shoot other big monsters lumbering towards me. No bullets to dodge. Very hard to miss. Seems like a tech demo or school project. Not worth a penny. Should be freeware or removed from store. Steam should publish how many times a product has been returned vs. not returned. Don't waste your time.
This is a VR shooter that has classes you can choose to diversify your game play. This is an Indie game so don't compare it to Dead Effect 2 VR, Serious Sam VR or Fallout 4 VR or any other AA/AAA VR game. If you want to hop in a VR action game and start fragging fairly quickly this is that kind of game. Each map or level offers a different kind of game play so you will probably pick a favorite or two out of the mix. Some maps offer Ai team mates to help you in your fight. The game by most standards won't be long. It is a level based game more so than a campaign type. You can replay levels over and over to challenge yourself to do better and get exp. I was hoping more would be put into this game but as it is it is well worth the $1.99 sale going on right now. For full price I'd say try it and see if it is your cup of tea. The graphics are decent and personally I saw no game breaking bugs. My rating for it is a average 5/10.
Old video here (Oct 2017) to see some game play. This won't reflect any after patches or updates. Enjoy.

The game play is addictive!!!
Jumps, fast shooting.
Very good action game.
I really hope there will be a multiplayer in the future...
For a single-player game I would expect much more weapons and maps.
But I see a good potential here.
When I buy an early access game, I'm willing to accept a couple of issues that need to be worked out, provided that the devs are active and open to feedback. The devs of this game are really working hard on this game, and will reply to players who have useful feedback or issues. That alone is worth giving this game from an indie developer a shot, and supporting their efforts. It certainly feels better to spend $15 on this game which is being worked on constantly than it does giving it to a bigger developer who really doesn't care what you think so long as they get your money.
This game may not stand out in the wave shooter genre in it's current state, but I think it could, and probably will. There's currently three classes with their own ability sets. The classes aim to provide players with a toolkit that allow for varying play styles. This idea has huge potential, and will most likely evolve into something really, really fun.
The three levels that are currently available might not offer much in the way of dynamic gameplay, with two of them being a wave shooter/tower defense with mobility being limited to two static locations. The third level allows teleportation for movement, along with a boss battle with a ton of adds.
This game might need a little more polish, but it's got huge potential. Buy it, play it long enough to experience all 3 classes and levels currently available. If you have comments on anything in the game, start a thread in the dicussions, and contribute to the conversation. The devs will listen to your feedback, and take it under serious consideration.
It's only $15 bucks guys, and makes a greater contribution to society than buying 3 coffees at starbucks would.
Edit: The devs. have already fixed the issue with reloading, and made som good changes. I'm looking forward to see where this game goes.
Origional review:
It's quite barebones at the moment, with only two missions/locations. It has three different classes to play with, but I have only tried two of them. The first one, a defender kind of type seems underpowered compared to the second one, a more of attacker type with dual wielding guns. I played much better with the second one and found it more fun. A problem with him however is that reloading is done with holding down the grip buttons and reaching behind your back, and holding down the two grip buttons at the same time also activates the special ability. So I often found myself activateing this inadvertently when reloading both guns at the same time.
The graphics of the game is quite polished, and the gameplay is fun, especially in the second mission. It's a wave shooter, but differntiate itself with having to defend bases, rescue robots and more. It also has some huge enemies. If it was not early access I would not recommend it, but with the promise of more content, and at a reasonable price I recommend it for now. Serious Sam: The Last Hope and Void Rangers are similar games, but better. If you like those and want more, maybe look here.
